## SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) Reviews
  ### 1. Unified SAP Fiori Launchpad Makes Workflows Fast and Frictionless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akansha C. | Infra Managed Service Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The absolute best feature of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, in my view, is the move to a unified, web-based SAP Fiori launchpad interface. Compared with legacy SAP GUI environments, having an intuitive central dashboard that brings together multi-module insights into personalized “Pages” and “Apps” (such as Project Management, Warehouse Processing, and Cash Management) noticeably improves day-to-day operational velocity.

In particular, the To-Dos and Situations framework makes high-priority work—like quickly reviewing, approving, or rejecting pending Purchase Orders—feel essentially frictionless. The platform also does an excellent job surfacing critical transaction details (such as Net Values, Supplier Details, and Purchasing Groups) right on clean, actionable dashboard cards. That makes it easier for administrators and team leads to clear pipeline bottlenecks without having to dig through deeply nested transaction codes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The main drawback of SAP S/4HANA Cloud is its rigid customization model and the strict limits it places on legacy custom code (ABAP modifications). Because the cloud edition enforces a “Clean Core” architecture to support seamless, automated upgrades, it becomes extremely difficult to adapt the platform to highly unique or complex, pre-existing business processes. In practice, you’re strongly pushed toward standard SAP best practices, which leaves very little room for truly bespoke development.

On top of that, transport management and deployment in a multi-tenant cloud environment can feel restrictive for technical administrators. Since changes are often tightly bundled, deploying custom logic apps or configuring localized workflow extensions means working through constrained cloud APIs rather than having direct database control. This can create a noticeably steeper learning curve for teams coming from classic, legacy SAP setups.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP S/4HANA Cloud addresses the major challenge of data fragmentation and siloed enterprise operations. In many traditional setups, critical business functions such as project management, warehouse processing, purchasing, and cash management run in separate databases, which often creates reconciliation delays and leads to inaccurate or inconsistent reporting.

By centralizing these processes into a single cloud core, the platform becomes a unified source of truth and delivers real-time operational visibility. In my day-to-day work, this has meant moving away from slow, manual batch processing and toward automated, immediate updates. High-priority activities—like tracking purchase orders, reviewing inventory analytics, and monitoring cash flows—are brought together on a centralized dashboard, helping our team make faster, data-driven decisions while keeping the supply chain and finance pipelines aligned and synchronized.

  ### 2. SAP S/4HANA Cloud: Instant Processing, Centralized Data, and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yonis A. | Customer service agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The thing I like most about SAP S/4HANA Cloud is its incredible processing power and how it centralizes everything. In my daily work at the customer service department, I need to jump between customer profiles, order history, and real-time stock levels. The system handles these massive data sets instantly, which is vital when a customer is waiting on the phone.

I also appreciate the integration capabilities; the fact that it connects our e-commerce platform with the physical warehouse logistics means the information I see is always up-to-date. Compared to older ERP systems, the web-based Fiori interface (which we use through our internal tool) is much more intuitive, allowing for faster navigation through different 'tiles' or modules without losing track of the main task. It makes complex multi-step processes, like international returns or gift card reconciliations, much more manageable.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The main downside is the steep learning curve during the Onboarding phase. Because the system is incredibly vast and handles complex global data, it can be overwhelming for new team members in the customer service hub to master every module. The initial training requires a significant time investment.

Additionally, from a Pricing/ROI perspective, while the software is powerful, it requires a very stable and high-speed internet connection to maintain peak Performance. During high-traffic events like Black Friday, we sometimes experience slight latency in cloud synchronization between the warehouse and our front-end interface. I would also like to see more intuitive AI/Intelligence shortcuts for common repetitive tasks to further reduce our average handling time, as some manual steps in the refund process still feel a bit legacy

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem SAP S/4HANA Cloud solves for us is data fragmentation across our global retail operations. Before, tracking a complex customer journey—from an online order to a store return in a different country—was manual and prone to errors. Now, it centralizes everything in one source of truth.

The main benefit is the drastic reduction in our 'Average Handling Time' (AHT). I can instantly verify stock availability in real-time and process refunds or replacements with confidence that the financial and inventory data is accurate. It has transformed our customer service from being reactive to proactive, as we can identify shipping bottlenecks before the customer even calls us. This level of AI/Intelligence and Integration ensures that we maintain high customer satisfaction even during high-pressure seasons.

  ### 3. Real-Time Reporting Speed and Unified Integration with Continuous Updates

When I set up work assignments on the work package for each services project, the default view shows total cost and total revenue. We prefer to see it from the perspective of hourly cost and hourly revenue, but the solution doesn't show those views by default.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP helps with time tracking, invoicing, procurement, subcontracting, and financials. The time-keeping feature is critical for invoicing clients and revenue recognition. It's easy for hundreds of employees to book their time efficiently.

  ### 13. High-Performance, Stable Development with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Clean Core

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

1. High-Performance Data Processing with CDS
What I appreciate most about SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the architectural shift toward Code Pushdown. In my experience handling large-scale data integrations—sometimes involving tens of thousands of rows—the ability to use Core Data Services (CDS) is a game changer. Instead of the application server doing the heavy lifting, we can push complex logic and aggregations directly to the HANA database. This significantly reduces the risk of runtime errors and performance bottlenecks that were common in legacy environments.
2. Stability through the "Clean Core" Strategy
I value the 'Clean Core' philosophy enforced by the cloud model. Using Developer Extensibility (ABAP Cloud), we build custom logic that is decoupled from the SAP standard. For someone who has spent a lot of time debugging production dumps caused by master data conflicts or field catalog mismatches, this stability is invaluable. It ensures that system upgrades don't break our custom tools, allowing us to spend less time on maintenance and more on innovation.
3. Standardized Development with RAP
The ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) provides a much-needed standardized framework. It brings a level of consistency to development that was previously hard to maintain. By using released APIs and a structured approach to building OData services, we can ensure that our technical specifications are robust and that the code is inherently more 'debug-friendly' and scalable.
4. Modern Tooling and Visibility
The move to ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse is another highlight. The advanced profiling and debugging capabilities—like the improved variable inspection and data preview features—allow for a much more surgical approach to troubleshooting. It makes the transition from identifying a technical failure to implementing a fix much faster and more precise.
5. Direct Value to the End-User
Finally, I like how S/4HANA Cloud bridges the gap between complex backend logic and the end-user. With SAP Fiori, we can take the output of a complex background job or a massive data validation tool and present it through a simple, direct, and professional UI. It turns raw technical data into actionable insights for the business, which is ultimately why we build these tools.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

1. Restricted Flexibility
The "Restricted ABAP" syntax can be a bottleneck. Losing direct database access and familiar commands means spending extra time finding "Released APIs" for tasks that were previously simple, which can slow down urgent technical fixes.
2. API Gaps
You are dependent on SAP to release the specific objects you need. If a standard API doesn't support a niche field—like those required for complex data summation or specific plant logic—it forces you into over-engineered workarounds.
3. Architecture Overhead
Moving custom logic to BTP (side-by-side) adds complexity. Managing OData connections and event messaging between systems creates more points of failure and makes "deep-dive" debugging across environments much more tedious.
4. Reduced Low-Level Control
In the cloud, you lose "emergency" control. When a background job crashes or data inconsistencies occur, the inability to perform low-level manual corrections can feel limiting compared to the flexibility of traditional systems.
5. Constant Maintenance
The rapid upgrade cycle requires perpetual impact analysis. It demands constant bandwidth to validate custom tools against new releases, which can be an administrative burden when you’re already managing high-priority projects.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Eliminating Performance Bottlenecks
SAP S/4HANA Cloud solves the issue of "Data Gravity" by using in-memory computing to process massive datasets instantly. For someone used to managing thousands of rows of data, this eliminates the "mathematical overflows" and system timeouts common in older environments. It allows you to shift from reactive debugging to building high-performance logic that handles complex summations at the database level.
 2. Streamlining Technical Stability
The move to a "Clean Core" model solves the problem of custom code breaking during system upgrades. By decoupling your developments from the standard SAP core, you ensure that the tools you build remain stable and functional. This reduces the time spent "firefighting" production dumps and allows you to focus on professional, high-impact innovation that doesn't require constant maintenance.
3. Standardizing Development Frameworks
By replacing fragmented legacy methods with the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP), SAP solves the problem of inconsistent code structure. This standardization minimizes the "metadata mismatches" and integration errors that often plague complex projects. It benefits you by providing a clear, structured environment where technical specifications are easier to implement and present to stakeholders.
4. Improving the End-User Experience
SAP Fiori solves the disconnect between deep technical backend logic and the people who actually use the system. It allows you to deliver your complex data validation and reporting tools through a direct, professional UI. This ensures your technical rigor is translated into a simple, user-friendly format, making your contributions more visible and valuable to the business.

  ### 16. Centralized Finance but Needs Better Project Control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wallace M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I like the finance control and process centralization that SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) offers. Having everything related to sales, operations, and finance processes on a single screen has been a huge improvement over managing projects and quotes with multiple Excel spreadsheets. I also appreciate how fast the rollout process was.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I find that project operations (EPPM and/or PS) aren't so good. It's fine from a finance perspective, but when it comes to project progress control, it's very bad. The initial setup wasn't too easy because there was a lot of configuration files to fill out.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) centralizes our information, solving uncentralized data issues and linking operations to finance. **Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I love the speed of the database in SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud). It is valuable for us, especially compared to the issues we encounter with ECC R3, where queries are slow due to the volume of data. We hope that SAP S/4HANA Cloud will solve this problem.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

On the r3, we have major issues with all requests due to the volume of data related to IT OT and load curves. Even as a beta tester for SAP on the archiving of load curve type data, the system remains slow and very unstable. We hope that S4 will solve this problem.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) centralizes the data, following the evolution of ECC R3, and we hope it will resolve the issues of slowness and instability of our previous system.

Its cloud-based model ensures scalability, regular updates, and minimizes infrastructure management.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

Some aspects of SAP S/4HANA Cloud could be improved. Customization is more limited compared to on-premise ERP, which can be restrictive for complex or highly specific business requirements. Initial implementation and data migration can also be time-consuming and require careful planning. Additionally, certain advanced features may have a learning curve, and integration with non-SAP systems can sometimes require extra effort.

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I love that SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) completely streamlined my business management by putting everything in one place. Managing multiple businesses used to be a hassle, but now I can track accounts, stocks, and manage my team directly from my phone, which gives me total control from anywhere. It automates mundane tasks like paperwork and manual data entry, freeing me to focus on growing my business. It feels like having a digital assistant that makes everything run smoothly and gives me confidence in making quick, fact-based decisions. Also, the initial setup was pretty smooth thanks to its cloud-based nature and guided configuration.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The tool is excellent, but it does have a slight learning curve at first because there are so many features to explore. Sometimes, the mobile app can feel a bit slow or laggy when loading heavy data reports, and a few of the menus could be a bit more simplified for quicker navigation. Improving the loading speed during peak hours would make it perfect.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP S/4HANA Cloud organizes all my business data in one place, automating tedious paperwork and eliminating manual data entry. It lets me track everything from profits to inventory in real-time on my phone, allowing me to focus on scaling my ventures without chaos.

  ### 20. SAP Cloud ERP: Simple, Fast, Scalable—With Real-Time Insights and Continuous Innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

What I like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) is how it combines simplicity, speed, and scalability in one modern platform.

A few highlights that really stand out:

Clean & intuitive Fiori UX – It’s much easier for end users to adopt, with role-based apps and real-time insights instead of heavy, complex screens.

Built-in best practices – Preconfigured business processes help companies go live faster and follow industry standards without reinventing the wheel.

Real-time analytics – Operational and analytical data in one system means instant reporting and smarter decision-making.

Automatic updates & innovation – No more worrying about upgrades; SAP continuously delivers new features, security, and compliance updates.

Scalability & flexibility – Easy to scale as the business grows, with strong integration capabilities across SAP BTP and third-party systems.

Overall, SAP Cloud ERP shifts the focus from system maintenance to business value and innovation, which is a big win for both IT teams and business users

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

If I’m being honest (and fair), SAP Cloud ERP is powerful—but it’s not without trade-offs. Here’s what I dislike most:

Limited customization (especially Public Cloud)
You can’t freely modify the system like in ECC or S/4HANA On-Prem. Many changes need to follow SAP’s standard processes, which can be frustrating for businesses with unique requirements.

Dependence on SAP’s release cycle
Mandatory quarterly/bi-annual updates mean you must constantly test changes. While innovation is great, it can impact stability if not managed well.

Higher total cost over time
Subscription fees, integration costs, and reliance on SAP BTP for extensions can make it expensive in the long run—especially for mid-size customers.

Complex integrations
Integrating with non-SAP or legacy systems often requires middleware (BTP/CPI), adding complexity and skill dependency.

Steep learning curve for consultants and users
Fiori, extensibility rules, and cloud restrictions require a mindset shift. Traditional SAP consultants often struggle initially.

Not ideal for highly localized or customized processes
Some country-specific or industry-specific needs still require workarounds or side-by-side solutions.

In short: SAP Cloud ERP is great for standardized, forward-looking organizations, but it can feel restrictive for companies that rely heavily on deep customization or legacy-heavy landscapes.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP (formerly SAP S/4HANA Cloud) is mainly solving the problem of complex, slow, and high-maintenance ERP landscapes, and that creates very real day-to-day benefits for me.

Here’s how I see it:

Eliminates heavy system maintenance
Traditional on-prem ERP requires constant upgrades, patching, and infrastructure management. With SAP Cloud ERP, this burden is removed, letting me focus more on process improvement and business outcomes rather than system upkeep.

Speeds up implementation and change
Preconfigured best practices and guided configuration reduce implementation time. For me, this means faster go-lives, quicker enhancements, and less firefighting during projects.

Solves real-time visibility issues
Earlier systems often depended on batch jobs and separate reporting tools. SAP Cloud ERP provides real-time analytics embedded in transactions, helping me make faster, data-driven decisions.

Reduces complexity across systems
By unifying operational and analytical data on a single HANA platform, it simplifies the landscape. This results in cleaner data models, fewer reconciliations, and more reliable reporting.

Supports scalability and future growth
As business requirements evolve, the cloud model scales easily. This benefits me by future-proofing solutions and reducing the risk of major re-implementation later.

Encourages process standardization
While sometimes restrictive, standardization actually helps streamline operations. For me, it leads to more predictable processes, better controls, and easier user adoption.

Overall, SAP Cloud ERP is solving the challenge of running an ERP that’s fast, modern, and innovation-ready, and it benefits me by saving time, reducing operational risk, and allowing me to focus on delivering real business value instead of maintaining the system.

  ### 21. Ease of use and quick access to data

The speed of access to data is also an aspect I appreciate, particularly for creating activity reports or other similar things.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The fact that it's web-based, it's the connection that's not very good, there might be a slight delay or sometimes I have to refresh the screen and start over what I was doing. Other than that, I don't have much to say.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud), I am able to review billing and analyze profitability, while tracking time distribution on projects. This allows me to optimize these aspects more efficiently.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sairam k. | Senior Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

What I like most about SAP S/4HANA Cloud is its strong Clean Core approach, which keeps the system stable and upgrade-safe while pushing custom logic to proper extensions. The API-first and CDS-based design also makes integrations and development more structured and modern compared to traditional ERP systems. I also like the real-time data model on HANA, which enables fast reporting without extra layers. Overall, it feels like a well-structured cloud ERP, as long as teams follow the standard rules.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

What I dislike most is that the **Clean Core restrictions can feel quite limiting**, especially when you’re used to the flexibility of traditional SAP ECC. Some common requirements often need workarounds through BTP or APIs, which can increase complexity and effort. The **upgrade cadence and strict standardization** can also be challenging for teams not fully mature in cloud development. Overall, it sometimes feels less flexible, even though that trade-off is what keeps the system stable.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP S/4HANA Cloud solves key problems like complex system landscapes, heavy upgrade cycles, and inconsistent business processes by enforcing a standardized, cloud-based ERP model. For me, this means less time spent on system maintenance and more focus on building proper extensions using APIs and BTP instead of modifying core logic. It also improves data consistency and real-time visibility, which makes reporting and decision-making much faster. Overall, it benefits me by reducing technical debt and making upgrades far more predictable.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

It can be very complex to operate things like Rebates as an example. In order to customize to make it fit the business needs it requires a great deal of work and testing.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global business financials. Again, we need to the ability to view our financials in short working order and provide our business owners with their results so they can make business-based decisions about strategy.

I also appreciate that once you learn how to do something on the platform, it's not complicated. Additionally, having all sites working on the same instance drives efficiencies by standardizing processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

For a non-SAP user, the learning curve is high, although it seems like WalkMe is addressing this. The costs are probably the greatest challenge, not just licensing but also implementation. The initial setup was very difficult due to the compliance aspects of a med tech business and the organization coming from a diverse range of ERPs and business processes.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ensures all sites work on the same instance, driving efficiencies. It's a common platform that new employees adopt quickly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

One stop shop tool in which I can perform many tasks through various avenues. It's a multi-department tool as well, so anything from Part Number creations to AR/AP can be performed within SAP.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

UI is a little outdated. Also, it would be nice to have some sort of transaction code library that is built within the tool that displays various t-codes and their function and best use case.

Integration and data extract for visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI are painful to setup in the beginning.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single platform that is vertically integrated for a wide variety of problems. Prior to SAP, we had multiple platforms that created process redundancy, non value-added work, and inefficient data. One single platform has saved cost, time, and execution to meet customer demands.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

I like the ability to use out of the box features to better improve business processes and using best in class industry examples to move those initiatives forward. While in my experience there has always been a little customization, it is nice to point to standard functionality and move to a new process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

My biggest complaint is simply that the versioning can differ widely so sometimes finding a solution or conveying a problem in one instance can be complicated. While SAP has a lot of resources, internal and external, some solutions may be outdated or very specific to the scenario.

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I like the interconnections of the transactions and the reporting in SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud). One transaction, such as a stock transfer or inventory movement, can have many subtransactions that execute automatically with the main one to fit the ledger and balance sheet appropriately. This really ties everything together from requisition to sales order.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The user interface is very outdated. Fiori is a little better, but there is much room for improvement to make the UI more modern and a better experience. The initial setup was not easy.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I find the customization limitations a bit frustrating; it would be great to have more flexible configuration options and the ability to customize reports and dashboards better. The implementation and setup process can be quite complex, which makes it a bit challenging. Also, the performance varies at times, and some parts of the user experience aren't fully intuitive, which can be improved with more in-app guidance or tooltips. The steep learning curve and initial setup complexity also add to the challenge.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Furkan Mikail D. | Senior Demand Planner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I find SAP Cloud ERP very easy to use, which is important for integrating databases effectively. It offers a lot of flexibility and a variety of tools that I appreciate. The flexibility and integration capabilities are standout features, especially useful in my fast-paced supply chain work within the consumer goods market. The system helps me adapt to planning, create reports easily, and meet business needs through strategic planning and analytics. Having everything connected, from demand planning to procurement, inventory, and finance, makes navigation between the modules seamless.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

Yeah. Sometimes it's very, very slow, and it freezes when I try to do stuff. Formatting are problematic or, some of the databases don't make sense, etcetera. But this could be more of an internal issue, nothing with the actual software itself. But, yeah, I would say the updates and the running time sometimes is very slow.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP solves data fragmentation, enabling a single source of truth for demand forecasting and inventory data. It improves forecast accuracy, demand planning, and cross-functional alignment, enhancing time management and decision-making with real-time insights.

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

The solution is really good, all options regarding AI and new APPs are incredible. Reducing time effort is a good way to go. E2E processes are much more better.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

So far the integrations between TM, EWM, QM and PP are too difficult to build. I as a partner is time consuming and a bunch of experience is needed for this.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 41. Organized Invoicing, but Multi-User Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam T. | CSM, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I like how SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) keeps purchase orders organized and ensures that we can easily see when an order was completed from the customer's perspective. The email notifications are also really helpful, as they let me know when a customer sends in an order, so I can fulfill it without having to manually check. This feature makes the process a lot more efficient for me.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

It is challenging to have multiple users with one account. I think having a tutorial and user guide provided could be helpful. Even a live demo on how to organize our needs for multiple users.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP organizes invoicing and POs, making it easy for customers to track orders and for me to fulfill them without constant checking, thanks to email notifications.

**Reviewed by:** Domingo R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I use SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) as our core system for finance and accounting, and the core of the corporation in general. It helps with standardization, compliance, and control. I especially like the stability it provides. The roadmap of best practices is very helpful during our migration from ECC to S/4HANA. The initial setup has been straightforward as we aimed for a clean core and went with a green field. Overall, SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) aligns well with our business needs.

  ### 43. Real-Time Efficiency, But Needs Easier Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hina R. | Teaching Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I really like the real-time data processing and strong integration across business functions in SAP Cloud ERP, which helps keep operations efficient and connected. The SAP Fiori interface is intuitive and makes everyday tasks easier to manage. I also value the automation and scalability, which help reduce manual work and support business growth. Additionally, the platform's integration with tools like SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting and Microsoft Excel for data analysis streamlines workflows and enhances overall business operations.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

One area that could be improved is the complexity of implementation and configuration, which can take time and often requires experienced support. Some customization options are limited in the cloud version compared to on-premise solutions. Additionally, initial setup and user training can be challenging for teams that are new to the SAP ecosystem.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP resolves financial and inventory management issues by integrating everything into one system. It enhances real-time visibility, aiding quicker decisions, and reduces manual effort via automation and standard processes. ### 44. Transitioned Smoothly from Oracle, Slight Usability Hindrance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nassir A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I find SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) much easier and straightforward compared to my previous experience with Oracle systems. The integration part wasn't really a big challenge, which was a relief. Initial training and user acceptance testing (UAT) were very helpful in navigating the system.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I found user-friendliness to be a bit of a challenge. The initial setup wasn't very easy, though it was strategically managed. Adopting the system, particularly user navigation, was challenging, but training and UAT really helped.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) simplifies our operations. Coming from Oracle, it feels much easier and straightforward, though initial setup isn't very easy and user navigation was challenging. Training and UAT helped.

  ### 45. Powerful for Database Needs but Setup is Challenging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bartosz J. | Junior Finance Controller, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I really like the master data part of SAP Cloud ERP. Most of the master data reports can be fully customized using bookmarks on both filtering and reporting. It's also really handy that everything links to Excel, allowing direct export into spreadsheets without needing to mess around with Power Query or other CSV file converters. Additionally, using SAP Cloud ERP in a browser means I can have multiple tabs open and manage different tiles at the same time. The customized accesses are a big plus, letting me easily add and reach the tiles I need. Creating a customized welcome page with all the necessary tiles grouped as I wish is another feature I appreciate. Although setting up the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) can be challenging, once learned, it's perfectly adequate for tracking project performance. I also like that the code itself is customizable and it's relatively easy to link other applications to SAP, like time-reporting apps or delivery application add-ons. Overall, it's very good for detailed accounting, project management, and finance purposes, even though it requires a lot of time to set up properly and learn.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I find the revenue recognition process frustrating because, unlike Oracle, time entry, costs, and revenue are not integrated into a single journal entry but are separate, making it hard to track revenue accurately. This separation results in difficulty pinpointing where revenue discrepancies come from. Another issue is having to manually add bill rates without the option to use a percentage multiplier, which I find cumbersome. Also, setting up SAP Cloud ERP is very difficult, which can be a real challenge initially and quite frustrating. Lastly, the user experience depends heavily on the setup being complete and error-free.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP does not solve problems directly but serves as a database for financial data analysis. SAC is excellent for customized reports and revenue leakage checks. However, revenue recognition is problematic due to separate entries, complicating tracking.

  ### 46. Robust Control and Central Finance Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I like the robust controls from a finance perspective in SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud). It's great that people only have access to transactions suitable for their role and data suitable for their area of the business. I also value the central finance capabilities that allow us to pull data from other systems needed for financial reporting. The AIF monitor is another feature I appreciate, as it lets me drill into error messages, figure out which system was the source, and coordinate with the business team to resolve and post entries.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I don't like that the DRC doesn't cater for both local and functional currency. This is a requirement for global companies where consolidation is based on functional currency and tax reporting on local currency.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP S/4HANA Cloud for capturing financial transactions and managing invoices. It provides robust controls, ensuring role-based access to financial data, and central finance capabilities streamline data integration for reporting. The AIF monitor helps manage errors efficiently.

  ### 47. Robust ERP with Real-Time Analytics and Innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilkin A. | Fund Accountant (Private Equity), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I really appreciate SAP Cloud ERP for its combination of real‑time visibility, standardized best‑practice processes, and continuous innovation into one system. The real‑time performance and fast analytics powered by the in‑memory SAP HANA database make the system quite efficient, allowing financial postings, inventory updates, and procurement steps to appear immediately. This reduces delays and improves accuracy, making decision-making quicker and more reliable with live information. The built‑in best‑practice processes preconfigured for industry standards are very helpful as they reduce complexity, speed up onboarding, and keep the system stable, requiring minimal updates. Continuous innovation is also a significant plus, with new features and improvements delivered regularly without requiring heavy upgrades or downtime. The unified platform seamlessly integrates various business areas like finance, supply chain, and procurement, eliminating data silos and enhancing collaboration across departments. Lastly, the intelligent automation capabilities, including embedded AI and machine learning, help automate repetitive tasks and provide predictive insights, significantly reducing manual workloads and improving efficiency.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

Some aspects of SAP Cloud ERP feel powerful, but there are also areas where the experience can be challenging or less smooth. Limited flexibility compared to on-premise systems makes it feel restrictive when a business needs custom logic. Frequent updates, while innovative, require continuous testing and adaptation, which can be underestimated. The Public Cloud edition has functional gaps compared to the Private Edition or on-premise S/4HANA. Implementation can be challenging due to data migration and aligning business teams. Users also face a steep learning curve due to the complex interface and terminology.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Cloud ERP reduces fragmentation and manual errors by consolidating tools and providing real-time analytics. It streamlines operations with automated processes, enhances compliance, and lowers IT workload by being cloud-based. It also supports collaboration and improves decision-making with shared, accurate data.

  ### 48. Powerful Yet Challenging for New Users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhythm S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I appreciate SAP Cloud ERP for its accessibility and how it allows business processes to be handled easily on a single platform. It's user-friendly, which is a big plus. I also like the real-time reporting feature, which helps businesses make quick and informed decisions. The experience through SAP Fiori is very intuitive, making daily tasks easier and improving productivity. Additionally, the real-time data processing powered by the SAP HANA DATABASE is a significant advantage.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

Sometimes business needs more options to adapt the system to their specific processes. Also initial implementation and learning can be a bit complex for new users. Providing more flexibility in customization and making implementation process simpler for new users.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Cloud ERP to handle the complete P2P cycle, inventory management, and data migration. It's good for scalability and accessibility. Real-time data processing and reporting boost decision-making and productivity, while SAP Fiori offers an intuitive experience.

  ### 49. Effortless Setup, Needs Enhanced App Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

I use SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) as a consultant and architect to implement it for end customers. I find it organizes and simplifies business processes in companies, helping to get a better understanding of the business across the company with better data for analysis. One big advantage is the ACDOCA table, which gives me the possibility to get better reporting options compared to ECC. Having all data in one place allows for faster and better analysis of financial data. Additionally, the initial setup of SAP Cloud ERP was easy.

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

There are some Fiori apps that should be improved. The roles defined for the customers, if they prefer to have access to GUI and Fiori at the same time, are not effective. It should be simplified, or all oData should be already activated in the system without the need of analyzing it.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It organizes and simplifies business processes, provides better data for analysis, and with the ACDOCA table, it offers improved reporting options, allowing faster and better financial data analysis.

  ### 50. Helps Define Best Business Practices

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

helps define best business practices and streamline processes across groups. Fiori apps that have been converted are easier to use however they are limited

**What do you dislike about SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud)?**

the steep learning curve and lack of training makes for a poor end user experience. Fiori apps are slow to load regardless of latency and other issues being addressed.

**What problems is SAP Cloud ERP (SAP S/4HANA Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

financial statements are easy to generate after an initial setup, but structure must be well defined within the system. BTP provides easy way to streamline integrations.
