# What's the highest rated protective intelligence platform for enterprises enhancing security threat awareness reliably?

I've been researching what's the highest rated protective intelligence platform for enterprises enhancing security threat awareness reliably, since a lot of platforms in this space generate a lot of noise without necessarily improving how fast a real threat gets noticed. Everbridge 360, AlertMedia, and Dataminr are the three most cited for this.

Protective Intelligence reviews on G2 separate the alerting layer from the response layer, which the post's own closing question already gets at. Dataminr pulling real-time signals from public sources to flag emerging threats and Flashpoint's deeper open-source and dark web intelligence are both strengthening detection specifically, catching something earlier, while Everbridge 360 and AlertMedia are more focused on what happens after a threat is flagged, coordinating the actual response across an organization. Ontic, being built specifically for corporate security teams, centralizing case management suggests a different job than pure detection, managing the lifecycle of a threat once it's already been identified rather than surfacing it in the first place.
More alert sources feeding into a system doesn't automatically mean faster response, since a team that's already stretched thin on triage can end up slower overall if detection improves faster than the process for acting on what gets flagged. The post's own question is the right one to sit with before adding another intelligence feed, since better awareness only shortens response time if the team's triage and escalation process can actually keep pace with the added signal.
