I can keep all databases in sync without having to manually copy data across. **What do you dislike about Saltbox?** Can be a little complicated to try and change something yourself **What problems is Saltbox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Replicating new item creation / price updates across our 5 databases meaning I don't need to manually DTW these items in each week ### 2. The Saltbox engine has good flexibility when it comes to undertaking conditional data transformations within the connection. But the best feature is the out-of-the-box working integration to SAP B1 via the DI service layer. **What do you dislike about Saltbox?** Fixed recurring fees for each connection. Timely availability of resources - most projects take between 90 and 120 days to deliver, and small enhancements can be quicker once a connection is established. **What problems is Saltbox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saltbox provides a solution that SAP refuses to acknowledge is required. SME's will nearly always be dependent upon 3rd parties to help them deliver an ecosystem of solutions that align with their business requirements. To utilise the DI service layer in SAP you need a comprehensive understanding of B1 and the underlying data structure. Saltbox and the team @ V33 have made the effort to establish this capability and make it easy to integrate B1 with 3rd party applications that do provide industry standard (published) integration options. As SAP does not do this for B1 it is very challenging to take any integration engine and connect it to SAP. Be wary of any IPaaS solution that states it can interagte to SAP - make sure you take references from real customers that are live. ### 3. Terrible experience from the start of the project. **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2022 **What do you like best about Saltbox?** Every step of the process has been painful so nothing. **What do you dislike about Saltbox?** There is no sense of urgency from delaying the start of the project, to the consultant running into issues every step of the way and not knowing how to troubleshoot them. Vision33 was prepaid for our project on June 6th and they gave a start date of June 27th with a 3-week delivery date. It is now August 26th and the testing is still not complete. I have had our SAP B1 IT consultant on calls trying to help Vision33 navigate and troubleshoot issues that should have been completely within their knowledge base. The Vision33 consultant has repeatedly had to go to her 'Team' for help as she does not seem to have the necessary knowledge to complete this project. This has not only cost our company money but valuable time. **Recommendations to others considering Saltbox:** Please find another company for your project! I have worked with multiple IT consultants without issue.
