"Great Tool with Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Salary.com?

I've been using Salary.com since I began work with my organization almost 8 years ago. It has been a reliable tool resource for my team during my entire tenure and one I use multiple times every single day. We've updated most systems and change a lot of vendors in my time here, but we've never had any discussion about ending our partnership with Salary.com.

I appreciate how easy Salary.com is to use - the system is intuitive and logical even non-technical people (like myself!) are able to use the system with ease.

I also appreciate how well Salary.com interfaces with our other systems. It interfaces pretty seamlessly with our HRIS system which has helped us 1) get better data points/metrics and 2) save time doing manual work.

Our Professional Services Lead Kim Scott has been a fantastic partner - always very responsive and eager to help us find ways to use Salary.com to its maximum potential. She's helped us a number of times with mass updates that have saved us countless hours from having to do the work manually ourselves. Her advice and support have been a game changer in helping us work smarter not harder! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

I don't have anything very negative to say. Sometimes there are some tricks to getting the system to interface with our HRIS, but it's worth trying to figure out the nuances to get the benefit of the systems connecting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Salary Analysis and Alignment"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salary.com?

I like how easy it is to scope out key specifics to compare salary ranges as we hire in different states. This helps us present competitive salaries against the market. I also find it useful that we can add different states or years of experience to figure out the baseline of our salary and develop a better range to negotiate with the hire. The initial setup was very easy, and our account manager is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

I find accessing job titles within the same field challenging, especially when it comes to seeing the promotional job title timeline of a position and adding a new job code. Also, the job code in the description doesn't always match the three-digit job code, which can be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for Comp Analysis"
4/5
What do you like best about Salary.com?

Their comp analysis tool is great. It’s easy to use, has strong data, and is customizable to the specific information you’re looking for. We use their tool a lot, and it’s been a big help with our clients.

Their customer support has also been excellent. My contact person is easy to reach and consistently helpful.

One minor downside is that for salaries in the EU, there’s still missing salary data for certain jobs. Occasionally, we also see salary ranges that feel far from reality. We currently don’t use integrations, so there isn’t much I can say about that. Pricing is handled by my colleagues, so I can’t comment in detail, but they’ve said it was reasonable. I also haven’t used their AI tools yet, but it’s something I should check out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

Their website can be a bit slow. It can take a while for information to load/update. As mentioned before missing data for certain jobs in EU. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ashley Iannuzzi of Salary.com

Thank you for your review. Glad to hear CompAnalyst is helping you find compensation data for your clients. Many of our customers would agree that a major benefit to the tool is just how easy it is to use. We understand you are experiencing performance issues. While there could be a variety of reasons for slow load times like internet connection or due to our large database, please be assured our team is constantly working to fine-tune our performance.

"Valuable Analytics with Need for Improved Data Insights"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Salary.com?

I like the customer service as it's very good. The website and the comp analyst feature are nice because they’re user-friendly. What I like most about Salary.com is the comp analyst dashboard, which allows me to see the cost of labor and cost of living in one place, keeping employee retention and lifestyle in mind. I appreciate the maps as they are really good visuals that help me understand geo differentials better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

I find the comp analyst AI suite a bit frustrating. I've used a lot of our AI credits trying to ask specific compensation and benchmarking questions, but I often end up with no data available. Also, the initial setup wasn't as easy as I would've liked. It required uploading several spreadsheets instead of just one master spreadsheet, which meant more manual work than we hoped for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Bell of Salary.com

Thank you for the review! We are glad you have had a good experience with your Customer Success Manager and find our platform intuitive.

We are sorry the AI suite did not give you the data you need. This is a newer feature that we are always working on improving, and if you have any recommendations, we welcome you to leave feedback for our developers via the Product Ideas tab in the Community.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

At times when I save a job, I have no idea where they go, as in what folder they end up in. Other than this, there isn't much that I don't like about Salary.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Custom Compensation Benchmarking Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Salary.com?

We use it for comp analysis. It is really great because you can create a custom scope of the info on your company (size, industry, location, etc.) that makes it fast to find the exact comp range for the position you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salary.com?

It could be a bit more user friendly. If you are reviewing multiple positions and need to change something (like how many direct reports) it makes you do it per position and not for the search overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alex Bell of Salary.com

Thank you for the 5=star review! We are glad you are getting value out of the custom scopes feature.

We appreciate the feedback and encourage you to use the Product Ideas tab in the Community to share your suggestion directly with our developers.
