"Less chasing and more visibility across tasks, approvals, and milestones"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Project Templates are one of the biggest time-savers for me because we can reuse the structure of a delivery without forcing every project into the exact same shape. With role-based placeholders and dynamic conditions, we can adjust the plan based on what was actually sold. And with Spaces, allocations, and automations, a new project can kick off with most of the operating model already set up. That reduces the initial setup work, but the bigger win is avoiding the small, easy-to-miss tasks that don’t get noticed until they turn into a blocker. The Customer Portal has also changed how we work with clients. Rather than sending a status email and then a separate list of pending documents and approvals, we can share the project plan, action items, files, FAQs, training, and approvals in one branded space, while still controlling exactly what the client can see. I also rely on Project Updates, automations, and timesheets to keep projects moving without having to manually nudge every next step. The update templates keep milestones, risks, and approvals consistent, and the automations take care of routine transitions when a phase changes or a form is completed. Status meetings became noticeably better once everyone could see the same project state before joining the call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Automations need more care than they might seem at first. One bad rule can push a project forward, change what the client sees, or create work nobody expected. We treat important automations almost like workflow changes in code: we test them first on a controlled project, check the edge cases, and only then reuse them more broadly. "Effortless Time Tracking and Organized Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

I use Rocketlane to log my weekly timesheets and track the hours I spend on different projects. The procedure is straightforward and helps me ensure I complete my required forty-hour work week while accurately allocating time across multiple tasks and projects. I like that I can clearly see where my time has been spent, which makes reporting more organized and reduces the chances of missing entries. The clean and easy-to-navigate interface makes entering daily or weekly hours quick, hardly taking five to ten minutes, which is very useful. Rocketlane performs well for routine time logging, and from my experience, the platform is reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

I think one area that could be improved is making timesheet entry even faster, with additional shortcuts or bulk editing options, especially for users who log similar hours every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks, Aakash! Five to ten minutes for a week of timesheets is great to hear. Shortcuts and bulk editing for regular entries is a useful idea, and we've passed it along to our product team.

"A Reliable Platform for Project Implementation"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane provides an intuitive and user-friendly project management experience. I like its clean interface, task tracking, milestone management, and collaboration features, which make it easy to monitor project progress, coordinate with stakeholders, and keep implementations on track. The real-time visibility and organized workflows help improve overall project execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

While Rocketlane is a great project management tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some workflows require multiple clicks, and certain configurations can be less intuitive for new users. Reporting and dashboard customization could be more flexible, and advanced filtering options would make it easier to analyze project data. Performance can also occasionally slow down when working with large projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks, Rahul! Glad milestone tracking and real-time visibility are keeping your implementations on schedule. Thanks also for the notes on clicks, onboarding and reporting. If you're seeing slowdowns on specific large projects, send them to support@rocketlane.com and our team will take a look.

"Elevated Project Management with Easy Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

I use Rocketlane for my implementation projects and project management, and it really makes the project management piece so much easier. I love that I can manage my tasks, deadlines, go-live dates, and risks directly from there. The flexibility with templates, tasks, dates, and timesheets is something I appreciate. The CSAT feature is also easy to use, which is great for customers to fill in along with the surveys. I love seeing the overall timeline of implementation with the most important details in one view, and having all of my projects, important notes, and dates in one place is very convenient. I also find the Outlook integration for timesheets handy, and the initial setup was very easy! I would definitely recommend Rocketlane to anyone who needs implementation software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

I would like to have a monthly calendar view of tasks to better manage my time and deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks, Caroline! It's great to hear you're running tasks, go-live dates and risks from one place, and that the Outlook integration fits into your day. A monthly calendar view of tasks is a helpful suggestion, and we're passing it along to our product team.

"The definitive "Nerve Center" for our project delivery and resource orchestration."
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane’s most striking quality is its relentless development cycle. Over the past twelve months, improvements in resource allocation and intelligent automation have genuinely transformed our operational efficiency. It goes well beyond basic task management by giving us a high-level view of team bandwidth, which helps us proactively balance workloads and protect against employee burnout.

I’m also very impressed with how their analytics suite has evolved. We can now pull deep, actionable insights into execution timelines and overall project health directly within the platform. By removing the need for manual data exports, Rocketlane has become our definitive “single source of truth” for all client-facing engagements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Because the platform offers such deep configuration options, there’s an undeniable learning curve during the initial onboarding phase. It took our team several weeks of experimenting to dial in our standardized global templates. If you’re looking for a basic, “plug-and-play” checklist, the platform’s complexity can feel daunting at first—but the long-term ROI is significant once the system is fully calibrated to your workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thank you, Pablo! Hearing that analytics and resource allocation have become central to how you manage client engagements is exactly what we build toward. On the template setup — Rocketlane is a feature-rich platform, and we want to make sure every team gets there faster. Our Help Center has a Getting Started guide (https://help.rocketlane.com/support/solutions/articles/67000716190-getting-started-with-rocketlane), Rocketlane Academy offers structured learning paths, and our webinars and customer community are full of teams sharing real-world configuration workflows. "A simple but powerful tool to plan, track & manage customer onboarding projects with ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

The biggest thing for me is that it has continued to get more flexible without becoming overly complicated. The templates and automation make it much easier to get a project moving without rebuilding the same process every time. I’ve also found AI Fills useful for turning meeting notes into project updates and action items. It cuts down some of the repetitive follow-up work and makes it easier to keep the project record up to date. I also like having better visibility into tasks and timelines, especially when multiple people are working on the same project. Overall it still feels like a tool that gets out of the way rather than creating more admin work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

There isn't anything major that would stop me from recommending it. As the product has added more features, there are occasionally areas where it takes a little time to figure out the best way to set things up. I'd also like to see the different automation and reporting capabilities become even easier to discover and configure. But overall, the product has remained pretty reliable and continues to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks for updating your review! It's great to hear Rocketlane has kept getting more flexible without getting harder to use, and that AI Fills is turning meeting notes into updates for you. We hear you on making automation and reporting easier to find, and we've shared that with our product team.

"End-to-End PSA with Real-Time Reporting, Customization, and Leading AI Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

It’s a true end-to-end PSA tool that provides real-time reporting for PS leaders to run their business, while also being highly customizable to fit their specific business needs. Rocketlane is leading the way in automation and the use of AI to differentiate their product from competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Form filling cannot be made available to non-licensed users at the project level. This is a gap for our handoff process as we want everything living in Rocketlane for complete engagement visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thank you, Kristen! The way your team uses Rocketlane — from timesheet governance with AI to a single-pane view for clients across the full engagement lifecycle — is a compelling example of the platform doing real PSA work. The gap around form filling for non-licensed users at the project level is specific and meaningful, especially where complete handoff visibility is the goal. Your CSM can advise on what's currently possible and make sure this gets captured through the right channel. Reach us at support@rocketlane.com.

"Great Collaboration and Flexible Project Tracking with Helpful Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

The collaboration opportunities, the ability to track projects in different ways, and the overall overview are really helpful. Support has also been great when it comes to adjusting things and making tweaks so it works for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

The adoption rate, and making sure people are sticking to their targets, are the main areas for me. Training and best-practice use cases could be clearer, and the reporting could be enhanced as well—although that might just be down to my own lack of knowledge. "Rocketlane Keeps Customer Implementations Organized and Transparent"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

One of the things I like most about Rocketlane is that it gives me a clear view of my contribution across multiple customer projects. As someone who delivers client training, it's very helpful to track which training sessions I've completed at different phases of each implementation without having to maintain separate records.

I also use it regularly to log and update my timesheets, which is quick and straightforward. Since the work updates from the entire team are captured in one place, it's easy to understand who is working on what, monitor overall project progress, and get a good sense of team productivity.

Task assignment is simple, and I like that projects can be configured based on customer needs. Another feature I find valuable is the access control—it lets us decide exactly what information should be visible to clients while keeping internal discussions and project details restricted. Overall, Rocketlane has made collaboration, project tracking, and customer implementations much more organized and transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

I would like to see more flexibility in reporting and dashboards, especially when trying to generate custom reports or analyze individual contributions across projects in different ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks for the review! It's great that your client training sessions now sit with each project instead of in separate records. "romain"
3/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane makes client onboarding much more structured and transparent. The ability to share a dedicated project portal with clients, track milestones collaboratively, and keep all communication in one place has significantly reduced back-and-forth emails. The task templates save a lot of setup time for recurring onboarding projects, and clients appreciate the visibility it gives them on progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

The initial setup and configuration can take some time, especially when customizing project templates to fit specific workflows. The reporting features could also be more flexible, as some advanced filtering options are missing. A steeper learning curve for new users who are not familiar with project management tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thanks, Romain! Great to hear the client portal and task templates have cut down on back-and-forth emails. We've shared your feedback on advanced reporting filters with our product team.
