  ### 1. RMM: A comprehensive solution for remote administration

**What do you like best about RMM Central?**

Well, I could start by naming what I like the most, which is Central Administration. Being able to manage all devices from a single console. Also, monitor the status of servers, PCs, and other devices remotely.

Not only that, but having continuous conitoring, helps you detect issues such as low disk space, high CPU usage, service outages, or connection drops before they affect users.

Automation is one of the great features for RMM. Performing recurring tasks such as file cleanup, service restarts, software installations, or policy enforcement. 

If you need to set up patch management, you can do it with RMM by Installing operating system and application updates on schedule.

Last, but not least, you can connect to devices to troubleshoot issues remotely using the Remote Support feature.

**What do you dislike about RMM Central?**

Well, I'd start with the cost of using RMM, licenses can be expensive, especially with few managed devices or a need for advanced features. 

In addition, the learning curve for RMM can be quite extensive, setting up alerts, automations, policies, and permissions is time-consuming. Incorrect configuration can lead to an excessive number of alerts or cause critical issues to be overlooked.

Also, having dependency on a single platform can be a double-edged sword. If the provider's service goes down or ceases operations, remote management can be compromised.

This might not be quite common, but in case of having a security breach, if an attacker compromises the platform or an administrator's credentials, they can gain access to all managed devices. 

Therefore, it is essential to implement multi-factor authentication, access controls, and best security practices.

**What problems is RMM Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RMM can help you solve problems related to the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems via a central platform. It can enable proactive fault detection, automates recurring tasks, manages updates, and offers remote maintenance. 

Therefore, this can reduce response times and the need for on-site visits. As a result, companies improve system availability, increase security, boost the productivity of their IT staff, and lower operating costs.

**What do you like best about RMM Central?**

RMM Central is really helpful for managing all my endpoints from one place, and it makes everyday IT tasks much simpler. Now I can fix problems faster, without having to rely on different tools or walk over to someone’s desk just to sort out their computer. Overall, it saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about RMM Central?**

The biggest downside of RMM Central is that it can feel complex to use at first. The interface and the initial setup are a bit tricky, and in some environments it takes time to manage policies, alerts, and endpoints properly. Because of that, getting started can feel slower than it should.

A simpler dashboard and a more straightforward setup process would really help. It would make it easier to start using RMM Central and see its benefits sooner, and overall it would feel more user-friendly. Changes like these would make a real difference for users.

**What problems is RMM Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RMM Central is a tool that helps manage lots of endpoints at once from a single place. This makes things easier for the people responsible for keeping everything running smoothly. They can monitor systems, fix problems remotely, and handle routine maintenance much faster. Because of this, things don’t break down as often, and IT teams have more time to focus on the work that really matters. RMM Central supports this by helping these day-to-day tasks get done quickly and efficiently.

**What do you like best about RMM Central?**

I like the ease of management, administration, and deployment to customer sites.

**What do you dislike about RMM Central?**

Nothing really to dislike from this tool from our experience as it checked a lot of boxes and did more than we were expecting it to do.

**What problems is RMM Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had multiple tools in our stack that RMM Central managed to solve for us - which is one of our main goal in looking for a new RMM tool. With RMM Central, my agents does not have to login to multiple systems to be able to do their job. They are now more efficient in using their time for investigation, remotely assisting customers, and patch management of our customer endpoints.
