The look and feel of this cloud-based system is love at first sight (I have been unimpressed and frustrated with every established big bank GRC system I have used prior to this as they were clunky and complicated). I would highly recommend it to anyone as it has gorgeous UI UX and a customer support network that cares and are with you at every turn. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of ORM within financial institutions, and I haven’t come across a more user-friendly and flexible system for managing risk. The team supporting the product also deserves a 5-star rating for their friendly, helpful customer support. **What do you dislike about RiskSmart?** The reporting module should be enhanced with AI capability. Other AI tools I’ve seen in other systems provide control-gap red flags and suggested actions to improve risk and control ratings. Making risk management understandable and valuable for business users can be challenging but RiskSmart enables end users to derive tangible benefit from time they spend engaging in the RM process and the RiskSmart platform. Although we are a relatively new customer, I can already see that RiskSmart can accelerate a proactive risk management culture and embed understanding of risk management fundamentals across all lines of the business. Lastly, the customer support has been excellent. The team are responsive and actively engaged in identifying product enhancements for the benefit of users. **What do you dislike about RiskSmart?** This is not a dislike but it a consideration for end users. RiskSmart is flexible and scalable so establsih a strategy to help shape the system to your needs. It doesn't have to be detailed but deciding on the best approach for your company needs important. The support team are great and will be there to offer support and ideas of how outcomes can be achieved but understanding your priorities and goals will support the initial set up and deployment. **What problems is RiskSmart solving and how is that benefiting you?** RiskSmart is bringing together siloed risk management and complaince processes and controls. The system adds value across the reporting lines and provides oppportinity for metrics and data we have never been able to produce historically. Quite a lot of adjustments and customisations had to be made when we started to use the platform, and RiskSmart team was very helpful during this faze, and also when we needed other help with the platform after that. **What do you dislike about RiskSmart?** Nothing comes to mind. We have been able to customise sections of the platforum to suit our needs, and the team take all feedback for improvements onboard. The user interface is easy for people who aren't risk professionals, but who own and manage the organisation's risks, to use on a day to day level and the ability to filter on the risk register and dashboards allows simple reporting to the Risk committee at an executive level. The system was up and running very quickly and the customer support from RiskSmart is fast, friendly and knowledgable. The RiskSmart team are risk professionals so understand queries immediately are open to suggestions for enhancements to the way the system can work across multiple different types of organisation. **What do you dislike about RiskSmart?** There is nothing I dislike about RiskSmart. The only advice I would give to new customers who don't have an existing risk management system (or who run purely from spreadsheets) is to know how you would like your processes to work and your risk registers to be structured because it is so flexible and has so many possibilities it would be easy to over engineer a solution! **What problems is RiskSmart solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing risk owners to manage their risks (rather than just document them on a spreadsheet) in a simple way. ### 8. It is not just a system for risk professionals wh use it every day but one for all occasional users. It is intuitative and easy to use for those without a backgorund in risk but managment of risk is part of their job. It is an important tool for embedding and develoing risk awarness in our orgnanisation. The RiskSmart team are risk professionals themselves and understand what users are looking for in a risk management solution. They are actvively open to ideas to continually improve the system and are proactive in delivering solutions and workarounds if the system does not neccesarily cover our firms specific requirements. It is was easy to implement and quickly adopted by users to intetegrate with our risk management processes. **What do you dislike about RiskSmart?** There is not much to dislike. Where things are not perhaps what you would want, the team act on feedback and embed them into their development work. There are regular feature releases that further enhance Risk Management and also efficiencies in use of the platform and BAU work. Our business were able to quickly realise the benefits of the system and has embedded will with support of the excellent training provided.
