"Subpar System, Very DIY and High-pressure Sales Tactics"
What do you like best about Rippling Spend?

Nothing. Unlike every other credit card/spend vendor we have, Rippling charges you just to have an account with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling Spend?

The system is very self-service. Each year at open enrollment, our team had to enter all benefits details and build out the full user experience ourselves, with minimal implementation support.

When we decided to move to another HRIS/payroll vendor, Rippling informed us that access would be cut off on the last day of the contract and would not allow a transition period to retrieve stored documents.

Our new vendor, on the other hand, expedited implementation and had us running payroll within four weeks.

The only service we kept with Rippling was their spend/credit card platform, which charges a fee simply to be on the platform (unlike many other vendors). Similar to our HRIS experience, the account management approach felt very sales-driven. Despite multiple conversations where we clearly declined expanding our credit card usage, the same questions continued to come up.

After I directly communicated that we were not interested and did not appreciate the pressure, we were asked to attend an “urgent” meeting regarding a supposed risk issue. Ultimately, there was no actual risk. This was just another attempt to revisit expansion conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
