CCC is user-friendly and fast in ensuring copyright compliance in a timely manner **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Dr. Sebastian M. | Vice president of external affairs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2019 **What do you like best about RightFind?** The most helpful thing about CCC is its ability to aggregate multiple documents within a single class to ensure compliance of course packs. **What do you dislike about RightFind?** I have no dislikes concerning the CCC. I'm grateful that the service is available. **Recommendations to others considering RightFind:** Start with this service. Don't wind up at it. **What problems is RightFind solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use CCC at Holy Apostles College & Seminary to ensure that all faculty using copyrighted materials with their students are compliant with the TEACH Act of 2002. We find that by providing an easy method for faculty to pursue copyright clearance for the purpose of integrating articles into our Populi learning management system, which requires only that they send their course lists to our online learning office, they more readily disclose when the materials they are using are in need of that kind of compliance. ### 2. When I've gone to other sites o obtain permission it usually takes several weeks, so this is a vast improvement. Additionally I like that it's one stop shopping (for the most part, see comments below for exceptions) which saves both time and hassle. Once you become familiar with the process it really is streamlined. **What do you dislike about RightFind?** I wish the collection of available publications was larger. This to me is the only downside of Copyright Clearance Center - searching for a publication and getting a message that it is unavailable. This means that I need to track it down someone else, and usually takes much longer. **Recommendations to others considering RightFind:** To be honest I am not sure what the competitors exist looks for Copyright Clearance Center. So, evaluating the product without a vast basis for comparison I would say it's a good product and one that I'd recommend. Particularly if the alternative is just tracking down copyright information as one-offs. Just be forewarned that you will likely, at one time or another, come across a publication that is not part of the library/ database. **What problems is RightFind solving and how is that benefiting you?** At my organization we produce clinically-focused educational material and thus we are often looking to use images that have been published in scientific or medical journals. Copyright Clearance Center allows us to reuse these images (saves the time and resources of creating our own) while feeling secure in the knowledge that we are adhering to relevant copyright regulations. ### 3.
