What do you like best about RemoFirst?

What I like best about RemoFirst is how user-friendly and reliable the platform is. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, which makes managing multi-country payroll simple and stress-free. Implementation was smooth, and their customer support team is very responsive, friendly, and proactive. They consistently provide updates and improvements to the system, which shows they truly listen to their clients. The automation features also save us a lot of time and reduce manual errors. What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

Overall, our experience has been very positive. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be adding even more advanced reporting and customization options for payroll summaries. While the current features work well, having deeper analytics or more flexible export formats would make the platform even stronger. What do you like best about RemoFirst?

The web portal is a definite advantage, as it streamlines both the onboarding process and account management—features that my previous provider lacked. What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

Before joining RemoFirst, I explored the platform from the perspective of a potential employee rather than an employer. I ran into some challenges during the initial contact process, as I was required to complete an online form and set up a meeting intended for prospective employers. It was only after I clarified in the meeting details that I was attending as an EOR employee, not as an employer, and that I was interested in learning more about the RemoFirst platform, that I was redirected appropriately via email. What do you like best about RemoFirst?

What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

The team at RemoFirst is great, but they seem to work in silos and with a bit of a lack of communication between departments, which makes it a bit difficult to process things in a timely manner. Finance follow-ups after invoice sending were immediate, while resolutions to issues or misunderstandings were less fast. For instance, I received an invoice the first time and within less than 24 hours I had a finance person demanding payment of a 'late invoice' when the deadline was still days away. This has now gotten much better because the system is automated, but this was the first impression after onboarding. I am overall happy but would caution against these practices and reviewing isolation in the different departments when it comes to a single client as this can create a really unsatisfactory experience, specially because I am assuming [I might be wrong] a good bulk of your customers will be startups, or SMEs who will find it more cost effective to hire your services than setting up an office for just one or two employees in a different country. These small companies are often constrained in terms of their human and time resources which means, backlog or dealing with the same issue over a period of time is not only simply frustrating but can lead to losses. What do you like best about RemoFirst?

Design: The design is very simple. Its all plain white which gives a very clean look. There are few main tabs and its easy to find the informations you need like profile, time-off, expenses, payslips, documents uploaded and contract agreements.

Process: Its easy to file leaves and get approved and you can see the status as well in the portal. You will be notified via email that your leave request has been approved.

Security: There is an option to enroll your account to MFA(Multi-factor Authentication) which adds additional level of security aside from your personalized password.

Support: Whenever I have questions, I contact the support team to raise my concerns. They do reply within the day or sometimes, faster. My concerns were addressed properly, and additional informations were given to me to help me understand the resolution they made. What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

I just find it confusing that the leave is accumulating until the end of the year which means, there were decimals in the platform as days go by. It will be easier and if there where few columns showing only the Carryover, Annual entitlement, Used and Left balance. The Accrued and Ad hoc adjustment seems confusing. I recently asked an adjustment on my leaves because I'm seeing incorrect numbers and the ad-hoc adjustment is still zero is it is not used at all. Overall, the platform is user-friendly. Thank you! What do you like best about RemoFirst?

It was simple to set up out RemoFirst account. I was assigned someone to guide me through the process and I could call them with any questions. The coordination with our finance department was easy to set up and has worked well. The website is easy and intuitive to use and I can make multiple changes in very few steps. RemoFirst has really helped me have a clear contract between me and my company. From the onboarding phase, when I was a contractor, up to now as an employee, the whole process has been smooth, and their responses have been fast.

What do you like best about RemoFirst?

I work remotely and have been using RemoFirst in my present organization. I am a very frequent user. The application is easy to understand and a number of useful features. They have a help center for FAQ which is very helpful.

The onboarding process was smooth and easy. I was able to upload/ view all my required documents. The customer support is helpful. They do reply promptly, they also have been providing regular support for queries. Salary is processed correctly with no mistakes neither has there been any delay. Salary is always on time. What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

The Customer Support is only available via email. There should be phone support as well. Also customer support does not work on weekends. At least a half day on weekends should be happening.

Expense reimbursements aside from the salary have a strict cutoff for the 3rd of every month. This becomes a tad difficult especially when the expense is a large amount. Ex an expense approved even on 7th of any month is not added to the payroll of that month but rather the next month. The Payroll cutoff should be later than the 3rd of the month. What do you like best about RemoFirst?

I appreciate that RemoFirst handles all the bureaucratic mediation with my client, being an excellent tool that centralizes contracts, payment information, agreements, and time off. RemoFirst's support makes a huge difference with super fast and effective problem resolution. I especially like the contract signing and account setup part; these features give me a great sense of security because they work exceptionally well and are easy to use. The contract signing experience is much better than on other platforms, with an integration that operates perfectly. What do you dislike about RemoFirst?

The FAQ has little information about the contractor modality and I had difficulties identifying how to update my banking information. To change the receiving account country, I had to contact support, which I believe could be resolved through the interface that we, contractors, have access to.
