We use Reftab to keep tabs on all of our PCs, peripherals, and other related equipment as well as licenses. We update it constantly and the reports generated from it help keep finance and upper management apprised of exactly how much money we're spending on what with no fluff. Easy to learn and use and not difficult to implement. **What do you dislike about Reftab?** It's a lot to keep up with when you start getting everything loaded into it, but that's just the nature of asset management. **What problems is Reftab solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have hundreds and hundreds of licensed products that we have to keep track of and this helps us stay on top of it all. We also have a datacenter with 30 cabinets full of tools and PCs and, despite having naming conventions, things get moved around sometimes and this helps us keep track of what is where. ### 2. The Dell Integration is a great tool to pull in computer specifications and warranty expiry. Reftab is very easy to use and the support is excellent. **What do you dislike about Reftab?** Only downside in Reftab would be that if a license renewal was coming up, we are only being notified once after setting the days prior to notification. For example, if we set a license renewal alert once it's 60 days out, we won't be notified again once it's 30/10/5 days out. It would be great if we had the feature where we were notified multiple times prior to the license renewal date. **What problems is Reftab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Asset Tracking and License Renewal Tracking ### 3. Now we can have searchable records of who has what. And loanees get reminders if they don't return something. **What do you dislike about Reftab?** I'd like to be able to have the option to take a picture of the condition of an item when it's checked in and out to keep a history of any damadge. This would be perfect for tracking our vehicle use. **What problems is Reftab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reftab is assisting us to track tools and equipment issued to engineers. It has also found a use in the tracking of uniform stocks and seeing who has been issued with what. ### 4.
