It has helpful features. The UI is friendly.

After several years as a loyal customer, we were shocked to find our subscription cost had been doubled without any prior, explicit consent from us. Tellent/Recruitee unilaterally moved us to a premium tier we never requested and didn't need. When we pushed back, they offered a downgrade — but still at a significantly higher price than what we'd been paying. Their pricing is now roughly twice what comparable ATS platforms charge. For a long-term client, this felt like a betrayal of trust. If you're considering Recruitee, go in with eyes open: aggressive annual price hikes appear to be part of their business model.

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

When I joined L&C there was no ATS and we were using an excel sheet to track recruitment and interviews. This is chaotic to say the least. I reviewed the market and found Recruitee. I was really impressed with the product and offering. We signed up just over 2 years ago, and the process was faultless. Amazing communication throughout and given that this was an off the shelf product and rolling contract, you wouldn’t think so. We received the same service as if we had signed a 2-year deal. The product did exactly what it said on the tin. We used the product for a little over 2 years and are only reason for moving away is we now have a new HRIS that has a built in ATS. I cannot recommend Recruitee enough. Thanks for all your help and support and I truly wish you all the best

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

I’ve been using Recruitee everyday since 2022 and have been really impressed with the platform and its functionality, which they have made additional improvements to recently. The fact we are still using them when there are so many ATS options out there means they really are worth considering if you’re looking for a new ATS.
You can set up your own layout when manging roles and choose which ones you have on your main job page, making it easier to use if you are only working on a selection of the roles you have advertised. 
When managing candidates within a job, it’s set out like a Kanban board and you can easily move candidates to each stage by picking and dropping them, or via the candidate profile. You can also tailor the stages to you, create new ones, change titles to make the pipeline effective for each role. 
You can add hiring managers to each role and give them access to add their own notes on candidate profiles to speed up feedback.
You can add notes to a candidates profile and see the cover letter & CV on the same page – I can’t explain how useful this is, especially when you’re in a call with the candidate and want to add notes at the same time.
They link with major job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Google Jobs, etc. so posting a new role to multiple boards is easy.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

My only negatives would be their customer support and that they can be difficult to actually speak to. They do have a chat option and written help section to troubleshoot regular issues, but sometime can be tricky if you want to talk to someone.

It is easy to work with. There is even a mobile app so you can uses it everywhere and at any time.

The only part i am missing in the system is that the vacancies are refreshed itself, to get back on top in new jobs.  if this future would be introduced it would be a great step.

Recruitee helps to sort out everything for new hires. It is a very clear program and also very orderly. next to that as a recruiter I do not have to visit different sites to assemble all my new hires.

Some reports could be a bit more detailed or customizable, especially for deeper data analysis. A few extra customization options in this area would make it even stronger! For example: The same tracking as GA.

there are a lot of ATS tools in the market, but for me what makes Recruitee great is it's customer care who are always available to help.

I also appreciate that they get their users involved in the development and updates of the platform. I've been on several demo calls where I've had the opportunity to try new concepts and provide my feedback which is heard and applied to the next iteration.

what made Recruitee stand out before was their pricing model where you paid for job slots e.g. you could have 10 advertise-able roles and could add additional job slots when needed.

they have since followed the Greenhouse and Workable pricing model which is based on number of employees a company has. It's not a bad model, I just preferred their previous one.

we're and Agile business and loved the fact that Recruitee offers a Kanban view. this allowed for easy adoption across the business, is one central place to advertise, source, communicate, store candidate information and hire a candidate. the entire recruitment lifecycle can be performed from one place

It is designed to work closely together with hiring managers. As recruitment I want more control over the process without interference of hiring managers. It is possible but you have to be aware when setting up the rights of the different type of users during the implementation.

They help me with understanding the data analytics, advise on specific issues and with career hub questions. Also advise on extra guidance with implemtation. Or setting up different workflows for various recruitment needs, also international.

Implementation is straight to the point. It is easy to use. Users are happy because of the simple and clear instructions what to do and how to do it. This is the most important part and it succeeds in that.

Some minor technical issue. E.g. recieving an uaotmated login mail while you have SSO.
Sometimes it feels too basic, but they are developing all the time.
It could use some better integration with AFAS

The applicant process. It makes solliciting easy. Furthermore, the tracking of the applicants and reviewing is great.

Keeping track of applications is not even simple; you literally can't miss them; they're there, every single one. And on top of that, sharing them with teammates, hiring managers, and interviewers is one click away, making everything better.

I believe that the scheduling events part is still a bit confusing, whether it is the calendar syncing from everyone involved not done right or just my fear of things not being scheduled.... It could still sync the events scheduled via outlook, for keeping up purposes.

Sharing applicants' profiles with the rest of the hiring team and keeping the reviews of the candidates in one place without having to send multiple emails back and forth.

Recruitee is easily the best ATS I've ever used as a Recruiter. It's visual aesthetic and streamlined pipelines set it above the rest in terms of user friendliness. I love the analytics because let's be honest, understanding data is one of the best most effective ways to hire and provide a quality candidate experience.

There isn't a thing I dislike about Recruitee, because if I ever have a challenge the customer service team is there promptly to solve any and all issues.

Recruitee is intuitive and easy to use. It's also easy to understand. 
They're also quite quick in listening to user feedback and implementing small wins. Customer support is on-point, quick, and helpful always.

Feels like as the company grows the more we also outgrow Recruitee - it comes with simple things like visibility, advanced analytics / dashboards, and most importantly automations.
We build a lot of integrations through Zapier because it's not available.

Using Recruitee on a daily basis shows it is a very self-explanatory ATS to use. It is very easy to access. And they have worked on many great features over time that customers have raised e.g. allowing candidates to reschedule an interview themselves, automatic out of office response, LinkedIn Recruiter integration. I appreciate how Recruitee values the voices of their customers. They also offer a monthly call to interact with one of ther CSM for those who have questions. Great customer service and also support is always quick to get back. It is very easy to implement and it's worth your money as it is also not very expensive as compared to other ATS out there.

It has comprehensive analytics dashboard as well.

There's nothing that I can think of at the moment.

Apart from helping us streamline our recruitment process and improving candidate management and experience, it also helps us have a data-driven report in terms of our hiring process through it's comprehensive analytics dashboard. Apart from that, it keeps us compliant with legal requirements for hiring especially in Germany.

Customer Support of Recruitee is always excellent - whatever issue they have, they will do their best to resolve it and make it a positive experience for you. I love the style of communication as well!

And finally what I found extremely helpful is the Reports section - you can easily access data which will give you a better understanding of how the recruitment process is going.

Unfortunately, it lags quite often - sometimes I cannot open an evaluation as it says that I do not have access to the job out of a sudden. Sometimes the pages won't load. And the recent interface update made the jobs page quite confusing.

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

The best thing about Recruitee is the price-to-quality ratio. The product covered all the basic features that we needed to manage our processes and it came at a price that was very easy to justify to management. 

The fact that the product is very intuitive meant I was able to invite hiring managers and other team members involved in the process with minimal hand-holding. This allowed our processes to move much faster and in a more transparent way. 

I also like that the product is evolving, every few months or so there are new features and improvements to how things work.

The careers page is very easy to use and looks good.

The occasional time when we had a question for customer support they were always very quick to respond and resolve our issues.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

The only challenge we had with Recruitee was our plan. We had the basic plan which allowed for 5 roles to be active at once, on a few occasions we needed to have another slot, however, it did not make sense for us to upgrade to the next level of the plan. This caused some frustration as we were never going to be of the size that required the capacity of the next-level plan, but I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. 

I tried using the Android app once or twice but found that the UX was far better on a computer.

Recruitee saves me time with bulk emails to candidates. 

Recruitee helps my hiring managers know exactly what is happening in their processes and for them to give feedback and opinions in a centralized and easy way.

Exceptional product, but they try to keep you hostage with dark patterns that are not worthy of a Business SaaS.

Dark patterns:
- There is no way to pause a subscription. If you cancel, they have vague information about what happens to your account data and processes you took time to develop. In short, you should expect that everything will be deleted and you'll start from scratch if you think about hiring six months from now.
- Takes time to get an answer from the support. When you finally get an answer about what exactly happens when you cancel, then a new billing cycle has started and they will not issue a refund, although they can see you haven't used the product in the meantime.

It's a SaaS with 0 marginal cost, issuing a refund is standard practice in the industry...

Recruitee is a well thought-out and therefore structured software. The basic operation is easy to understand and the setup is relatively straightforward. To be able to use all the functions to the full, however, you need a little time to understand everything - but they are worth it. The ability to maintain data globally, so that it is automatically available anytime and anywhere, is a major advantage. This greatly reduces the maintenance effort and the number of potential sources of error. If any questions remain unanswered, the support team responds quickly and easily - feedback is recorded and transparently documented and in some cases also implemented.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

The list of negative properties is short. Unfortunately, there is no global pipeline view. A pipeline is available at job level, in which you can see the progress of each individual applicant, but unfortunately this is only shown in a list view. If jobs are edited and they are still not live, this uses up one of the limited job slots - but these are both rather negligible factors.

Thanks to Recruitee, we were able to significantly simplify and automate the entire application process. Thanks to a suitable interface, we were able to integrate Recruitee into our website, which means that all applications automatically end up at Recruitee, where they can then be processed. Thanks to the ability to synchronize email accounts, emails can be sent automatically from Recruitee, but are still visible in the email account.

The rate of innovation and implementation of new features is excellent, the team at Recvruitee clearly works hard to offer the best recruitment system. 

I regularly received feedback from hiring managers and candidates, advising that it's easy to use, functional, and provides a tremendous navigatable experience. The system is set up to allow hiring managers to collaborate on hires through various features. 

The number of integrations Recruitee allows is great. We have a number connected to it, but the most impressive one is Dopcusign, allowing all employment correspondence to be created, sent, and tracked via Recruitee.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

While the reporting feature is excellent, unfortunately, the lack of personalisation to how it is downloaded makes it difficult to create dashboards for all company to view. 

The recruitment requisition feature is only available to the top-paying accounts. This feature is necessary for us, but unfortunately is out of our budget.

Recruitee is very easy to use for HR and TA professionals, as well as others playing a key role in collaborative hiring. Before Recruitee, we had to chase people to upload their interview notes to the ATS and to delete them from their files, which is now history as it's all built into Recruitee. You can build your own processes within the system, and the functionalities available make it easy to maintain all the candidate data & conversations about them within the system, and therefore ensuring compliance.

There's not much that I dislike, but it's good to keep in mind that the more flexibility within the ATS, the more expertise it requires from the HR and TA professionals working with it. Recruitee could, for example, introduce a competency library and propose competency-based interview questions to make it easier to evaluate the candidates properly and thus end up in the best hiring decisions.

Some of the functions are buggy such as the editing of the job decription. Also setting up the career page is not as easy as described at the beginning and we would like it to be a bit more customisable.

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

Recruitee is the first Applicant Tracking System (ATS) I had contact with as a recruiter, and I can't imagine working without this tool. Recruitee is very easy to use, extremely intuitive, works fast, and has many useful features that facilitate the recruitment process:
- Transparent job management with a kanban flow.
- Compliance with GDPR.
- Customizable forms and surveys.
- Tags that help organize the recruitment process and enable quick candidate search and report creation.
- Ability to create email templates.
- Automation of various time-consuming activities, such as sending messages, adding tags, and performing other actions while moving candidates between different stages of the process.
- Note-taking, commenting, task assignment, and sharing functionalities with other team members.
- Capability to create talent pools.
- And many more.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

There's nothing I dislike about Recruitee. However, there are a few features that I am eagerly anticipating, which will likely be introduced shortly (Recruitee users can report their needs and express their preferences by liking ideas.) One of the features I'm looking forward to is the ability to generate reports on surveys completed by candidates during the recruitment process.

- Recruitee enables significant time savings and greatly streamlines the recruiter's workflow.
- It provides the ability to store CVs and automatically populate candidate profile fields.
- All messages exchanged with candidates are conveniently located in one centralized location.
- Recruitee offers the capability to generate valuable reports and track conversions effectively.
- There is also a quick search function for finding candidates based on skills or tags in the database.
- The personnel at the Recruitee help center are consistently prompt in responding to inquiries and strive to resolve issues expeditiously. Their support is invaluable.

. Simple, easy to use.  
. Links to all the critical job sites.  
. Accessible communication across the business and directly to all 
   applicants.
. Good reporting

I implemented Recruitee into five start-up tech businesses & it's so easy to switch from one client site to the next.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

Not a lot!  Even if there is an issue, the support team quickly responds with a solution.

My only dislike, which may now be rectified, is not being able to mark candidates as "hired" unless they are tagged to a job!

Ability to hire quickly in a cost-effective manner
Simple to provide responses & feedback to all applicants  (it's ridiculous when candidates "hear nothing" from some companies!)
Instantly shares relevant information with all hiring managers
Provides easy reporting on the number of hires over a given period, the time taken to hire and the source of candidates.
Instantly identifies & highlights candidates if they previously applied to the company via any source; directly, by an agency or referral

- User friendly, especially for end-users; intuitive interface, appealing design
- Kanban board with hiring stages
- Automated tasks (efficient)
- Configuration possibilities for different jobs --> each job can have a different workflow and different phases 
- Configuration possibilities for different roles --> each role can have different permissions
- Fast support --> on-line chat with fast response times and accurate answers
- Relatively easy to configure the package to our company needs
- Alerts about new features
- Good tutorials and help pages
- New reports features

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

- Configuration possibilities in international context relatively limited - eg GDPR rules are different in each country, though Recruitee has only 1 parameters for days limit

**Recommendations to others considering Tellent Recruitee:**

- Compare your company needs to the different subscription plans before selecting one.
- Define your hiring funnel workflow and think about automated tasks before configuring the product.

**What problems is Tellent Recruitee solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruitee allows us to save a lot of time in managing our hiring funnel. We got rid of our Sharepoint where all candidates are stored and improved the efficiency of our hiring team. In addition Recruitee supports GDPR compliancy.

All employees participate in the hiring process as interviewers and overall satisfaction within the company is very good.

There aren't many things to dislike. However, it would be great to see some additional functionality such as anonymisation features

There has been a lot of thought put into many components of the recruitment process, and there is a template for it that you can easily use. Additionally, the helpdesk is very customer-oriented.

The subscription is reasonably expensive, but otherwise no other dislikes.

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

Recruitee has offered us the opportunity to completely streamline our processes, from a very manual, paper heavy old system to an intutitive ATS that has all the functionality we need for our day-to-day recruitment needs and more. We shopped around other suppliers and are not at all sorry that we chose Recruitee to supply us. 

The support at Recruitee is second to none, the online resources are really helpful, and for more niche scenarios that aren't covered by them the team picking up live chat requests do so incredibly promptly and are always friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable. Having worked in tech prior to third sector, I appreciate the relentlessness of the support role, but they do it with enthusiasm. Particular mentions to Marta and Phillipe who I've spoken to a few times and have both been excellent.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

As a UK customer, I would like to see (and have requested via the team) the ability to create our own Equal Opportunities form, as the functionality in place by default is catered towards the American market and is not applicable to our organisation, nor is it customisable. Currently, I have to link applicants to a form created outside of the package to capture EDI data, which isn't ideal. I would like to report on EDI via Recruitee and keep everything within the ATS, rather than have disparate streams of data.

**What problems is Tellent Recruitee solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruitee is helping us streamline our processes and ensure compliance with GDPR. We are able to fairly shortlist and have clear visibility of decisions made at interview - we love using the "thumbs up/down" icons to show at a glance decisions. This functionality has been well received by members of the team who have used "old fashioned" scoring systems for many years. 

We have significantly reduced our admin time in posting roles and managing applicants and particularly like the use of which we can offer interview appointments and integrate with video conferencing tools.

**What do you like best about Tellent Recruitee?**

I find Recruitee to be quite user friendly. I come from an agency background and have used most of the systems out there and would want to implement recruitee if I changed firms. Data is displayed clearly and the system ticks all the boxes you would expect as far as functionality. I quite like the options to automate scheduling as well as implement email templates and have used these quite extensivey to automate parts of my work stream and save time. The support team has always been super responsive when I have come across technical issues.

**What do you dislike about Tellent Recruitee?**

I have encountered a few issues with the system. Specifically, the event scheduler can become disconnected from Outlook calendars and needs to be periodically refreshed and checked on. Also, the option to 'refresh' jobs (ie move them back to the top of lists on job boards) is a bit wonky and requires, essentially, taking the role down and reposting which makes it difficult to track the data (I know they are working on a long term fix for this though.)

Recruitee has been quite useful in streamlinig and tracking our recruitment process. I also appreciate having the ability to collect all of the feedback in one place as well as to create customized evaluation forms to provide to hiring managers for use in interviews.
