# What product analytics tools let a product manager run cohort analysis and funnel reports without writing SQL or waiting on a data engineer?

Most modern behavioral tools do self-serve funnels and cohorts without SQL now, so they'll all clear that bar. What actually bites PMs isn't building the funnel, it's trusting it, because if your events are named inconsistently your no-SQL funnel is confidently wrong. The question worth asking is who owns your tracking plan. A clean event taxonomy matters far more than whose funnel UI you like best.
