I liked Motion but there were a few things that didn't work for me and Reclaim's price caught my attention. And, they had a trial version. So... I gave it a try. Wow, was I impressed! I love the ease of use... it was very easy to get started and things just made sense. I also love that it connects to Outlook and the tasks show up on my Outlook calendar and my Outlook stuff shows up on my Reclaim.ai planner! So cool! I love that it's easy to move things around, reschedule and make changes. It also easy to add a task quickly that you already did but didn't have on your planner. "Habits" is a great feature as well. I haven't used the "Focus" time feature much yet but I like that it's an option. Probably will use it in the future. The "Scheduling Links" is a really nice feature as well. I also like that Reclaim.ai isn't trying to be everything to everybody. I really hope they stay in their lane because what they are doing with this app is awesome. It might not be for everyone but it is exactly the app I had been looking for! I use Reclaim.ai every day for my part-time work as an I.T. Manager for my church, my almost full-time work as the CEO of my nonprofit and all my personal tasks. Works great for all of them. (and they have a nonprofit discount!) Try it! **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** One of the only things I would love to see is, maybe, color coding for tasks. I would like to distinguish between work, personal and my nonprofit. Small thing tho. Also, a companion app would be nice although it works really well even just using it on my iPhone from a browser so not a complaint but rather just a wish for a dedicated app. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reclaim.ai really helps me focus on what needs to get done, when it needs to get done. I love the interface, aesthetics, and the idea of recurring tasks, habits, and focus time that are dynamically rescheduled by AI. I also found the multiple priority levels concept for the purpose of automated rescheduling to be immediately intuitive. I have not tried yet the multi-calendar syncing, but it is great to know it is an option without recurring to an additional paid service outside of Reclaim. As I write this review, the product is in early stages, so I am excited to see where they go next. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** These are more missing features than dislikes: 1. Lack of support for iCloud Calendar. One of the founders recently expressed he shares this pain point with me, but there seems to be no concrete plan for this feature right now. I imagine it is a matter of handling the majority of business cases first. I know that Apple can also be obtuse when it comes to third party integrations sometimes, so I understand. There is a workaround, but it is not ideal: enable public links on the iCloud calendars you want to sync to Reclaim, subscribe your Outlook or Google Calendar to these iCloud calendars (this creates a new calendar for each link), then go to Reclaim’s settings and select the calendars to sync (they appear as a checklist under the Outlook or Gmail calendar). If you have Outlook or Gmail synced to iCloud, the new subscription will cause your iCloud events to be synced back to iCloud, causing duplicates. To solve this, just hide either the iCloud calendars or the subscription calendars in Outlook/Gmail. Oh and this setup may lead to a significant delay in your iCloud events showing up in Reclaim (minutes to hours). I know, quite the trip, but it works. 2. I’d love to have the ability to elegantly show tasks and events I want to focus on during a Focus Time. For now, the only options are: choose either one or the other; or play with settings to NOT reschedule your focus times and tasks when they clash, which causes the events to show separately, next to each other. None is elegant or pleasing. 3. Scheduling links and schedules (“Hours” in the settings): you can only select the existing core schedules (personal, work, meeting times). When setting up your scheduling link, you cannot select any custom hours you create. Seems like a non-issue until you want your work meeting times to be different from your scheduling link meeting times. For instance, imagine a recruiter who wants to allow company meetings during working hours, but wants to constrain candidate meetings to the morning only. As it currently stands, the recruiter would not be able to restrict the hours in this way for the links they share with candidates. If you go the other way around, you can set the custom hours to apply to a certain links, but these show as preferred times (green dot on a time) rather than available times, which the candidate may not understand or respect. 4. I think there is lack of clarity and granularity in choosing what events people logged into Reclaim will see when comparing with their calendar. They say you can do this in the calendar sync settings, but this is for sync between external calendars (Outlook, Gmail), not with Reclaim calendar. A feature to show and change event/calendar visibility as shown within Reclaim is needed. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Sharing meeting links that take into account my availability based on my personal and work calendars. It allows me to confidently and efficiently share my availability with recruiters during my job hunt. - Syncing multiple calendars. - Automated scheduling of focus time and personal care to meet personal and professional productivity and wellness goals. ### 16. It allows me to use different schedule formats for different groups. I have two organizations for which I need to maintain separate meeting schedules. I really appreciate the habits section; it has been a great help to me. Additionally, the priorities function works well for me. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** When it comes to scheduling links, I would prefer a domain name instead of a long schedule link. The help section is outdated; adding more YouTube instructions in each section would help guide us in understanding everything. Once we're done, we can turn it off. I have noticed that scheduled events are doubling up everywhere. It would be helpful to have better instructions on how to manage the duplication of events between personal and work calendars. I'm experiencing a lot of duplication when working with your app and my Google Calendar settings. The written instructions are unclear and very confusing. Short videos would be more effective. You have to switch views into "Priorities" to see your Habits, and you can't just click to mark the Habit (aka recurring task) as complete - it takes several clicks. We have a compressed season due to weather, and scheduling has always been a challenge for me. This program has helped me manage my tasks and keep my calendar full of useful work! It also replaced Calendly for me so that's a plus. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** I haven't had any issues with it so far. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Booking discovery calls, task management, project management, Planning, habit tracking, time logging/tracking. Suddenly, it turned into my best friend for finding time for the most difficult tasks every day. The other apps are not as complete or customizable as Reclaim.ai; they're focused only on work commitments. So, for someone like me, who likes to have flexibility, Reclaim.ai is ideal because it allows me to separate personal and work tasks while still taking both seriously when planning something. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** I know that some features may be experimental or subject to improvement, and I’m happy to have a team devoted to making everything polished. Sometimes, though, it’s almost not enough. For example, when I’m trying to schedule a lot of things and have to deal with priorities, tasks, busy statuses, etc., all at the same time, I struggle to find the ideal configuration for my optimized daily schedule. I’m satisfied, but I’m sure this will certainly be improved in the future, so I’m reassured. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reclaim.ai is solving my problem of having too much to do and only one life! I previously used Motion, which I liked, but it just wasn't intuative. You had to manually do everything, which if I'm honest... felt like I was wasting time. I discovered Reclaim by accident, and thought I'd give it a whirl. Two Words... Game Changer! The habits feature has to be my favourite thing, In a few minutes I was able to add in details about all of my most mundane but regular tasks, and Reclaim literally slots them in perfectly to my schedule. It was really easy to setup. It also manages my tasks super seamlessly. When I started using the app, I had 3-4 weeks worth of work pre-booked. Reclaim has improved my efficiency by 25-30% at least, allowing me time to add in personal time, as well as better schedule my tasks based on priority, and due date, and length to complete. It reschedules things seamlessly around meetings, and other more important tasks, and I haven't missed a single deadline. I've now got weeks back! Seriously... I use Reclaim every day, I'm working on the same amount of projects but significantly more efficiently. Great app, and affordable price compared to Motions high price for less features. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** There aren't really many negatives. I think there are some suggestions, like more integrations with other apps would be great - and a mobile app would be fantastic - although, the webapp is still good. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping streamline and improve efficiency. ### 47. Although the free plan is excellent for a business that just requires one link, the option to have flexible duration scheduling links, and a target calendar for each schedule is fantastic to keep your workday organized. They also offer recurring meeting options and automatic travel time and "decompress" time in between your meetings, which are really helpful. It is very easy to use and set-up. You can also easily integrate it with other productivity software. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** Downsides I would just mention the inability to collect payments via the scheduling links and that if you are trying to work with multiple calendars such as a personal calendar, and you need events to appear on both, you have to be careful about setting up the calendar so they do not overwrite each other. Otherwise, this is another great feature. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reclaim.ai is helping us stay organized as we manage multiple businesses with different type of clients and meetings. ### 48. The smart recurring meetings are nice and the booking links work well too. It's got what I wanted from Calendly but with even more features, I switched after one day of testing it and haven't looked back. Also, when I had an issue (which wasn't their fault - some Google API weirdness), they were on it and troubleshooting within minutes) **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** Nothing I can say I dislike about it other than I wish it had Outlook support for the one customer I have using MS. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Calendar sync across multiple GCals. ### 49. I didn't think I needed AI for a calendar. What would it look like, and how would it see 'ME' in my calendar? It found the commonalities and made them obvious, and it gave me control over my time in ways I hadn't thought of. It took me a little while to realize that I really liked it. **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** The free version only does two calendar links. I have several, so it was obnoxious to play with it to make it work. I figured it out, and eventually, I bought it. That is when It got really good! Combining the other calendars made all the difference in the world. It is worth the effort, but it does take some doing to get it right. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the biggest problems I didn't even realize existed was - I had no ME time scheduled into my day. Nothing for meals, nothing for relaxation, no downtime. It helps me break up my day into smaller bites, and I feel good about moving through the day. I can track my results because they are ALL now on my calendar. ### 50. I am able to build a recurring meetings, appointments, and tasks easily into my calendar while managing the constant changing needs of my schedule without needing interaction. The set up was incredibly easy. Reclaim recognized all my existing meetings and set new meetings that adjusted based on my availability. I was able to set up my personal and work calendars seamlessly, managing both personal and work commitments through Reclaims platform. Using intregrations with tasks, I was able to prioritze my work and block off time to focus on urgent things, knowing my calendar was adjusted without effort on my part. The Reclaim team is incredibly helpful and responsive. They were able to work with my InfoSec team so we could get the product set up for internal use (we are in healthcare, compliance is top of mind) within a week of certification. Amazing! Get it! **What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?** I don't think of this as a downside. You need to actively manage how it looks at events and prioritizes your day. Theres a little learning curve to understand how it moves/adjusts calendar meetings based on priorities, settings, hours, etc. **What problems is Reclaim.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Effectively managing a busy calendar and adjusting my days events based on what changes day to day, or sometimes hour to hour.
