Customer support has been top notch and there is so much easy trainings to learn. There are so many ways to get help and self support. I use this software daily and it is just so seemless to get your data. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** Some of the courses for trainings have significant overlap which makes them take longer to complete. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using the software for consolidation. We need to upgrade to a better version of this software because we have grown internationally and need better currency conversion options but we have seen demos and this software is going to solve that for us. ### 2. During the onboarding process, as an adminstrator, I helped to build everything from scratch with our consultant. This was extremely helpful in learning the system and things it can do. It also provided me with the confidence I needed once we were onboarded and the training wheels came off. Prophix is an amazing tool and has helped to ease all of our pain points throughout the budget process. The end user experience has also improved vastly and I'm no longer receiving the complaints I used to during budget season. I have not had a scenario where I wasn't able to accomplish something I wanted to within Prophix. Prophix allows you to have all of your data at your finger tips. For us, this was huge because we were able to consolidate multiple systems into one. We are able to produce reports much more quickly without manual intervention once reports are set up you simply update the dates. Our organization has the CSP and that has been very helpful any time we have questions or are looking to add sometime. Overall, Prophix has been a great investment for our organization and I can't recommend more. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** N/A I don't have any negative feedback to provide. We have struggled with excel during budgeting process but with Prohix we have increased the end user experience. Robust product with many features. It is great at analyzing data that is in your database. We have reduced the time to provide reports to managemnt and the Board with Prophix reporting as we are able to generate results right after close of the month. It was great experience during implementation. Their team is very knowledgable and will make the process smoother. We went Prophix due to the ease of integration with our ERP. If you purchae the CSP package from Prohix you will have great support from their knowlegable team. This is a product that we use very frequently almost on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** For the most part it is a great tool and it does not have any disadvantateges. There are few things that could be improved like dashboard editing functionality. It lacks formatting feature that of excel. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved the problems of not having data in excel that needed to be manually consolided and then turned around to provide reports to management and executive teams. It also improved our end user satisfaction as it is very easy to use. Management was super happy after we implemented Prophix. It is also solving our problem of providing results at a much faster rate. We can generate and distribute reprots that same day we close the period, where in the past it took few extra days. It is also providing ways to be able to analyze and review data much more diligently. Much more data can be reviewed by fewer people with Prophix. ### 9. There is a M365 Add-in that allows push and pull data movement to and from Prophix for Excel and PPT. We are much less dependent on IT and more efficient. The application is point and click intuitive for non-financial users. Staging data from SAP and other sources has been fairly straightforward to implement. Working directly with Prophix for implementation consulting is fantastic and a welcome change from working with 3rd party implementation firms. The ability to continue to grow our platform footprint without large financial outlays was a big win. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** As each customer implementation is custom built to a certain point, we found the ability for new consultants to enter the process mid to late stream hasn't proven to be as efficient as staying with the original team. **Recommendations to others considering Prophix Software:** Talk to other users and utilize the very competent pre-Sales technical team who can do some great mock-up's with your data to show you what your data will look like in Prophix. Don't be afraid to ask hard questions. The Sales team was very knowledgeable and responsive. They speak CPA and can answer tough questions as many of their consultants and Sales team are CPA's. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improved staff efficiency. Staging data from multiple sources creates a one-source-of truth application and significantly reduces staff time manually assembling reports and analysis from varied sources. Improved user ease-of-use and increased accountability especially from the non-financial users and time-crunched executives. Lower cost implementation model with internal Administrator and lower technical resource cost (internal and external) to support the application. ### 11. We also had a very manual planning process that took months. With Prophix, we have a workflow that distributes the various reports that are now automatically generated. All the processes you configure are very similar so as you set up your instance you are leaning the tools you will use across all modules. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** I don't think there is any downside to using Prophix, we have this distributed to many users and quite a few are non-accounting people that are able to provide data for forecasting without relying on a central team. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to get new users up and running quickly. The ability to analyze accounts and retrieve detail quickly allows us to respond quickly. I would like to see additional file system features that allow for grouping, tagging of templates, processes and views. One of our challenges continues to locating the relevant files. Once you become familiar with the child/parent relationships, hierarchies and reporting functions, it's actual easy to use, but I'll say the learning curve can be steep. I also love that it's easy to export data to excel, schedule report distributions and change settings on the fly. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** Sometimes the cloud version feels clunky and I wish there were more customizations available in the menu. The menu in the on-prem version was much better and it's disappointing it didn't transfer over as nicely. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wouldn't necessarily call it a "problem" - Prophix is our primary financial management tool and we've used it for nearly a decade. The software is cloud based and relatively easy to use. Prophix provides excellent training and support through their academy as well as a responsive support group one can file help tickets with. I especially like the Detailed Planning Manager module which I use to budget staff at the employee level and feed both the budget and the projection. I've budgeted in other areas of my organization and Prophix really makes the overall experience faster and easier. Additionally, pulling ad hoc views of financial data couldn't be simpler. You move your dimensions around and you have exactly what you need. There is no need to run queries, it's all right there. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** Here are a few things that I dislike: When key updates are rolled out, I think the account manager should directly reach to global administrators because these auto emails can get lost in all the other email updates. I also believe modifications to the front-end experience in process manager would be helpful for organizations that use complex and lengthy processes. When larger projects or integrations with new data are taking place, its challenging to get time with developers that is not months away. Lastly, dashboard features in Prophix are not quite as advanced as Power BI. However, this is made up for with its superb scenario planning and integration performance. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix has solved three problems for us. First, it enables us to run a complex forecast process with many different expense allocations. These allocations are fueled not only by percentages, but by the operational data we upload into the system. Second, it makes budgeting a lot easier and less time consuming. We set up a model in DPM and can calculate our staffing budgets with minimal effort and once it is set up, you can update a couple of things and its ready for next year. Lastly, it helps us generate P&L statements using operational data at a lower level, which is something that is extremely time consuming and tedious to do in excel. ### 23. We have over 50 users that have budget write access, we wanted to create an environment that would be easy to navigate and work 100% of the time without any latency issues or system crashes. Our end users are more than thrilled with the ease of use of this tool, and the workflow also helps them stay on track with the tasks they need to complete. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** I don't think there are things for our use case that we would dislike. We definitely do not use all of its features, so I can't review and speak about the entire tool, but I do think the formatting functionality of dashboards could be improved. Sometimes we have to create charts in excel just because it has a bit more formatting functionalities. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Number one, it solved our inability to budget efficiently. It made it much easier for our end users to budget comfortably. Number two, we are able to utilize a detail planning manager to more accurately budget headcount and fixed assets. No more performing calculations in excel to figure out what the depreciation expense will be for the following year. Number three, it solved our reporting problems, where it took a long time to retrieve data from our ERP and put it in a report format. Number four, slicking and dicing data is so much easier to do, where you can take your numbers and pivot on them any way you'd like without much effort. ### 34. We use Prophix for reporting at all levels, from individual business unit data to Board and Executive level reports. I enjoy all the upgrade we receive being on the cloud as well. These are at no additional charge too!
