  ### 1. 7 months, no working website, and a highly frustrating experience

**What do you like best about Promatics?**

Nothing. The only positive aspect of my experience was that the project manager, Palak, was polite and professional in her communication.

**What do you dislike about Promatics?**

The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
A project that was initially quoted at 10 weeks extended to around 7 months without a functioning website being delivered. There was a clear lack of structure, ownership, and coordination, with multiple developers working in isolation, leading to repeated issues, inconsistencies, and ongoing delays.
As a non-technical client, I was repeatedly asked to provide input on backend functionality, which was both inappropriate and overwhelming. Instead of being guided through the process, I felt I was expected to help direct technical decisions without the expertise to do so.
The quality of the work was also unacceptable. Many pages contained basic spelling and grammar errors, and I was not given the ability to edit or correct them myself. This alone made the website unusable, as there is no justification for this level of oversight in a professional project.
Despite significant time, cost, and effort invested, I did not receive a finished product that I could use. The overall process was disorganised, stressful, and ultimately resulted in me having to walk away from the project entirely.

**Recommendations to others considering Promatics:**

I would strongly advise proceeding with caution. Ensure that every aspect of the project is clearly defined in writing from the outset, including scope, timelines, deliverables, revision limits, and responsibilities on both sides.
Do not rely on verbal assurances or estimated timelines without detailed documentation. Make sure there is a clear project structure with a single point of accountability, and establish how delays, changes, and quality issues will be handled contractually.
If you are not from a technical background, it is especially important to clarify your level of involvement. Based on my experience, I was expected to provide input on technical elements I was not qualified to assess, which made the process extremely difficult.
Keep thorough records of all communication, approvals, and changes throughout the project. This is essential if issues arise later.

Following my review on Clutch, I received a legal notice requesting its removal. The communication also indicated that, if I did not comply, they may pursue legal action and publish details relating to me and the project in the public domain. I found this response concerning and believe it is important for others to be aware of how disputes may be handled.

**What problems is Promatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I engaged Promatics to build a custom platform for my business, however the project did not deliver a usable outcome. After approximately 7 months, the website was still not functional or ready for launch, meaning I was unable to proceed with my business at all. As a result, there was no measurable benefit, no successful delivery, and no return on the time or financial investment made.

Promatics helped us transform a fragmented platform's internal workflow into a scalable SaaS platform. They seemed very knowledgeable, and it was a seamless network that really moved the projects forward. They built an online platform that gives customers access to their information, and they provided a network system that allowed access to our accounting software in a remote setting. They used robust accounting systems and provided us with a lot of valuable advice on how to better integrate our services. We are glad they listened to us, and the project was a great success. Everything was great.

The time zone conversion from them to us was a little challenging at times, but they worked around our schedules and made it happen.

I would trust them to build your solution.  We gave them a detailed explanation of our needs and goals, they listened and executed.  I felt like all the changes and things we did not realize about our software in the beginning of the project they adapted to and built as we went along.   Overall great experience.

We needed a data mapping tool based on Google maps technology to support our commercial printing and marketing business.  Their development is allowing our users to create successful marketing campaigns with a simple interface and ease of use.

We wanted a fintech app and Promatics Technologies built a great product for us. The speed and performance of the app are satisfactory. Our beta users have appreciated the app and we are getting positive feedback across the board.

Fintech is a highly challenging domain and with Promatics' expert developers we were able to defeat regulatory and interface-related issues. Since it required integration from various API it was a huge task integrating all protocols seamlessly. They worked very hard which impressed us the most.

They need to work on building better HD custom graphics.

**Describe the project or task Promatics helped with:**

We required hybrid mobile apps for our retail stores. They need to work on tablets as well. We own a lot of retail stores and wanted to build mobile apps that will help customers to estimate the exact fit for their clothes. After the pandemic hit our sales were affected. It is natural for customers to be wary of shopping in bricks and mortar store. That is when we decided to devise a way which can limit the physical touch when customers come to our store. This app was the result of that issue. The app was required to be built quickly with a set of features that we brainstormed with the analyst provided to us from Promatics.

**What do you like best about Promatics?**

Promatics has a great team that has ample experience in build complex mobile apps. I like their ability to improvise and offer credible solutions when we struck unexpectedly midway development. This made us realize they have vast knowledge in the mobile apps domain. The project manager assigned to me was an experienced IT professional with several years under his belt. His communication skills were good. He was responsive and had a sense of duty towards the project. This actually showed up in all the team members that were assigned to the project. The implementation part was challenging since everything has to be done remotely and it can be tedious at times however the team had patience and perseverance to see everything through in the best manner. I would also like to appreciate the quality analyst to our project who painstakingly worked on weekends as well with my team to get the app finished without any bugs. Finally, I can say that I have now found a vendor that is trustworthy, has a solid technical expertise, has the ability to take up and build complex apps, and provides great customer service. I look forward to collaborate more with the team at Promatics as we take this relationship to the next level.

I do not resonate with one of the project management tools they worked with. Everything else was great. It is hard pick faults when you have a great team at your disposal.

**What problems is Promatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a multi-country conglomerate, we wanted to implement a new way for customers to shop in our stores after the pandemic. Promatics helped us build multi-device compatible hybrid mobile apps that our customers now use to measure their exact fit. The apps introduce a novel way to buy clothes offline and have given more confidence to our customers when they shop in our stores. The feedback we have received so far has given us the satisfaction that we are doing something right. We only introduced this app in a few of our stores and plan to push this to all other stores in the future. The pandemic threw a lot of questions and challenges to remove physical touch as much as possible in the future. This app helped us do that in our stores where we cannot think of eliminating physical touch completely.

Promatics helped us build a very user friendly app that allowed customers to place their order online. Consumers love it as it saves them a lot of time, Owners love it as they can monitor their sales digitally at any given moment of the day. These achievements were really possible because of the great work, detailed oriented services provided by promatics.

Promatics has a brilliant team of programmers, that can solve issues fast and effectively upon demand. 
Regardless of the time difference, they are available for you and respond within a reasonable amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Promatics?**

I do not really have a bad insight about Promatics, they are always reliable and supportive when you need them. However since our app and business works 7 days a week.  The time difference may be a small factor to consider.Updates may take a few hours depending on the time of the day or if it falls on the weekend

The app we built is helping a lot in the restoration sector. Clients are able to place their orders on a tablet without having to wait for servers. Owners can monitor their sales at any time during the day. All these, benefits both the clients , the waiters and the owners.

Promatics gave priority to my project. They work hard on it. I always felt that the app was being valued. The team at Promatics is super responsive. They keep pushing harder to meet deadlines and bring our vision to reality. In fact the best part is the immense technical ability they have which elevated my confidence.

What I did not like is very difficult to point out since they came on top on everything. They need to be more assertive with a few things though.
