"Simple and powerful - does everything I need"
4.5/5
What do you like best about POEditor?

POEditor offers a very simple solution to localizing content without massive tech implementations or additional features. It's exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and easy to integrate. At the same time the user interface is incredibly easy to navigate both for admins and translators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

The API connection was a bit fiddly to set up between different file formats and took a while to understand so it works. Better documentation would be great there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Anca Huzum of POEditor

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Could you kindly drop us an email at info@poeditor.com with more details about how you think the API docs can be improved? If there are parts that are not clear, we'd be more than happy to try to dispel any clouds of confusion. :)

"Nice review tool"
5/5
What do you like best about POEditor?

I like that you're supporting open-source projects. The only reason I've onboarded on poeditor is that you gave me an OSS license for my pet project. Now I know poeditor features and will recommend using in my professional work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

Almost everything is nice, but one feature is missing. I'd like to have the ability to raise a PR for every language I want to export to Github it is necessary for crowdsource projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Anca Huzum of POEditor

Thank you for your feedback, Ainur. We already have PRs on the list of features to be considered for our translation management system, so I've added your +1 to the existing entry. If we decide to add this functionality, I'll make sure to let you know.

Response from Anca Huzum of POEditor

Thank you kindly for your feedback, Dragana.

Regarding the warnings you get when you exceed the length of the source string, please note you can turn them off if you want from you Account Settings. Just switch the QA Checks option to OFF.

"Very helpful in user stories, a lot of flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about POEditor?

I do a lot of requirements elicitation. POEditor helps me give the correct info to our developers and QA team. At the same time, it gives me the flexibility of changing the translations if any changes arise in the UI from the marketing team. It's a tool we use for the whole agile team in our company. It's also cool that I can import keys between projects and so we reuse as much as possible from our core product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

It was not very intuitive, in the beginning, how to give/receive access to projects: edit rights or only viewing, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All good - from ease of use to customer support feedback."
5/5
What do you like best about POEditor?

It is perfect for the everyday localization process - just a minute and voila - you've created a term. Also, the design is lovely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

I'm not delighted with plurals - it took time for me to find and get into it as a non-native English speaker. But I guess I'm the only one who finds it hard :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An excellent tool to handle translations"
5/5
What do you like best about POEditor?

It's an extremely easy tool to handle translations. I was searching for a while a website that I could use to allow people that I don't know to collaborate with me in translating my open source app. One of the hardest parts of translating apps is that your common collaborators won't understand JSON. It was pretty hard in the past to share with them my JSONs and expected they will edit them without making mistakes.

POEditor has allowed my tool to be translated to several languages with the minimum effort since I just added the terms, English translations, add the languages I wanted and shared the link or my app (PWA).

Additionally, POEditor allows you to get "automatic" translations using Bing and Google. Plus, you can automatically integrate the translations to GitHub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about POEditor?

My only suggestion would be to allow integration with:

- Yandex for Russian automatic translations.

- Baidu for Mandarin automatic translations.

However, this is a nice to have not a must. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Anca Huzum of POEditor

Thanks for your feedback, Federico. We've noted your suggestion regarding automatic translations with Baidu and Yandex and will discuss it.
