It's designed for restaurants, it has a multi-venue set up option versus the other LMS platforms that usually chuck all users under one account. In Pocket Trainer I can set up all our outlets individually and give access to employees to one or more venues, which helps a lot with reporting, and sharing information that is particular to a venue or country. Their mobile first approach and user-friendly interface helped us a lot to get the staff engage with the platform. What I also appreciate is that their pricing is simple, all courses including the UK compliance courses are included in the platform. While my team mainly creates their own content from HR point of view the mandatory compliance is the most important for us, and that is well covered on the platform. Payroll and rotas have to be managed separately, though we have our HR platform for that. To be honest, while they could have more features about staff management, appraisals and all that, I do not mind that they are focusing on training and internal comms only, the operation team at least is not getting lost with too many features.
