**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I really like how simple and intuitive the user experience is - it makes everything easy to navigate from the start. The login process is smooth and hassle-free, which is a big plus. I’ve never run into any bugs, and I’ve always been able to submit my expenses without any issues, whether through the app or the website. Overall, it’s been super user-friendly and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

While I really appreciate how simple and streamlined the user experience is, it can sometimes feel a bit too minimal. There are quite a lot of categories to choose from when submitting expense, but without clear explanations for each one, it can be tricky to know which is the right fit. That said, this might be more of a setup issue than a problem with the app itself.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

Set up on pleo was very smooth and I like the security feature where I can set up a password. It's easy to navigate and I never feel overwhelmed when I need to upload multiple receipts cause that can be done in two easy steps. There's never any surprises cause the user can always see the balance on the card and that helps with planning.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

At first I struggled uploading receipts and I reached out to support who was very swift in their response, from there on, it has been smooth sailing

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees handle their own travel invoice, this eliminates the middle man and reduces risk of error and back and forth

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I like that expenses can be exported to the accounting software. I like Pleo because it removes friction: employees can pay easily, and finance receives clean, well-structured data that’s ready to use.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

I don't like that it only has a 4 type VAT rate. The technical support told me that only Spanish rates are included, but for example, the 5% rate is also Spanish and it’s not included. When I separate the VAT on an invoice in Holded, two separate expenses are added and the invoice does not upload. Also, I don't like that the app is only available for cardholders; the accounting department should be able to access and monitor all expenses through the app.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Pleo has no spending limit and offers automatic top-ups from the bank account. 
It summarizes all income and expenses, categorizing them by user and indicating who has added the receipt or not.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I find Pleo to be easy-to-use with a good UX/UI. I particularly like the feature for travel costs and appreciate how effortlessly it handles travel cost reimbursements for employees, eliminating the need for manual tracking. The ability to track expenses in certain categories through the system is beneficial. The travel expenses and vendor cards features stand out as great, providing an easy and well-thought-out process, especially for employees. With vendor cards, we can offer employees freedom while still maintaining some controls.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

The registration of the date of card payments, accounting, and book-keeping are all still very manual, and the system does not register or learn details of expenses very well on its own. DATEV integration is improvable. The tool should learn how to allocate expenses after a while. There are some bugs in the accounting part that need to be solved.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pleo for convenient travel reimbursements without manual tracking, and it helps track expenses by categories. Vendor cards give employees freedom with restrictions, but registration and bookkeeping are manual, and DATEV integration needs improvement.

I find Pleo easy to use, especially since I can use a company card on my phone rather than having to use my own card and make an expense claim. It also offers some options in terms of expense management, which I find helpful. The initial setup of Pleo for my team and me was very easy.

I find that splitting charges could be improved. I'd like to have the option to separate what expenses go back to the company and what I personally pay for, like when leaving a tip that's not covered by the company policy.

Pleo makes expense management a breeze. It's super easy to use and very intuitive. Submitting my invoices barely takes any time. Especially the fetch email is such a neat way to ensure the invoices are automatically added.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

Sometimes the website experiences downtime which is annoying when I have just sat down to review my monthly spending. Other than that I'm very happy with Pleo.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pleo makes business purchasing and expense management very easy. I can add the cards to my Apple Wallet and even if I accidentally swipe the card I can mark it a personal purchase. Additionally, I can easily reimburse myself for any purchases made with my private card in the app. It saves time and offers transparency.

The ease with which you can enter expense submissions as it automates a lot of the process and also removes duplicated effort. I now find I enter expenses "on-the-fly" compared to other solutions where I was having to put aside a couple of hours each month to process expenses

time saving is the big benefit for me and this is because the process is so automated and workflows become easier with the more times you use it eg saved regular locations I travel to etc. I estimate I am saving about 2 hours a month by now entering expenses as I go rather than processing them at the end of the month

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I use Pleo for the ease of accessing and viewing the available balance on the card. I like being able to pay at a large number of establishments and having the virtual card for quick and convenient payments. I enjoy the speed of making payments with the downloaded card, and the fact that having both a physical and virtual card on the phone provides agility and convenience in payments. Additionally, I value the tax savings generated by having part of the salary through the restaurant card. I consider that Pleo meets the requirements and has not given me significant problems.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

There are some restaurants that are not operating, but I understand it's because of the CNAE to which these establishments are associated. At first, I had some problems making balance requests since the page didn't have the charge enabled for me, but they resolved it later.

Pleo makes it easy for me to see the available balance and pay at many establishments. The virtual card allows for quick and convenient payments, generating tax savings. Additionally, having both a physical card and a digital one on the phone makes payment swift.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

My employer uses it for expenses, its incredibly simple and not time consuming at all, quick photo on my phone of my reciept and it scans everything on it without me having to write any transaction myself, works perfectly every time.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

Sometimes the app will log me out by itself, and since I dont use it every day I can sometimes get caught short in a queue where I need to check the PIN code for the card and oops, i'm not logged in. the last time this happened I was waiting for a train so didnt have time to go through my authentication and try to get signal, so I had to use my own debit card and claim expenses afterwards (Which was easy to do on pleo) I think this is a problem with Android / Google though not Pleo as some other apps do the same thing.

It saves me having to write out individual expenses if I eat out for dinner or something ,it just scans the whole thing for me and sends it directly to our finance team, I barely have to do anything. The last place I worked at we'd have to manually email a photo of a reciept and then still write out each transaction on it, now Pleo does all of that for me insted.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I use Pleo for both physical and online purchases related to my work, and I really find it makes filing receipts so much easier. It gives me a good overview of which receipts I still need to add to the app and helps me assign receipts to the correct budget effortlessly. What I like most about Pleo is its simplicity and how user-friendly it is. It's also very easy to lend my card to any of my teammates while still keeping a good overview. Transitioning to Pleo from our previous system, Traveltext, was a big relief because Pleo is way easier to manage, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

I have to wait for a code to be sent to my phone to view my digital card, which is a little annoying sometimes.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pleo makes filing receipts easier, gives me an overview of receipts to add, and simplifies assigning receipts to budgets. It's user-friendly and allows easy card sharing with my team while maintaining oversight.

I find Pleo really easy to use, especially for submitting everything the company needs, like receipts and such, without the hassle of dealing with paperwork or taking pictures. I also like the 'Fetch' feature that looks into my emails to find receipts, which is pretty useful. It saves me a lot of time since I don't have to take pictures, upload PDFs, or click through various steps. It's just easy to use, and I'm happy with it. Plus, the initial setup of Pleo was really easy, so anyone familiar with software should be able to handle it, as it's not complicated at all.

I think temporary cards for members without a Pleo account would be useful. Like saying, 'Here, take this card. There are £20 there. Use this card.' But I guess that's me asking too much.

I really like that Pleo picks up the information automatically from the receipt, which means I don't have to type much. I really like using Pleo because it means there's a lot less admin for me. I can make payments that I'm authorized to do without any extra fuss. It's a really good way for me to handle HR payments, like booking flights to the office since we're mostly a remote team. Pleo is also easy to use for regular expenses. Another thing I like is that it allows us to have our own cards, which was a big reason for switching from Dext. It's much easier to upload receipts and evidence, and for people to check things. Plus, the initial setup was super easy and everything went very smoothly.

I know, occasionally, there are some bugs that come up, and it says it's unavailable. But other than that, it works really well.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I find the simplicity of Pleo for the end user particularly positive. It starts with the fact that I only need to log in with a simple code that I can easily remember. This is very helpful. Additionally, the entire user interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. It is very clear, and it's easy to see what I need to do and where. For example, if I want to submit an expense, I am guided very effectively through the process. There are sensible default settings for all possible relevant data fields, which means I don't have to deal with different VAT classes or laboriously categorize the expenses myself. This makes it very easy for me. I also like that the process from login to payout runs lightning fast and I can be sure that nothing more is required from me once I have submitted an expense. This helps me enormously in the demanding professional day-to-day, and I don't have to spend much time on the platform, which I find very positive.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

Specifically, I repeatedly encounter two phenomena. One is that I don't have a useful preview function to upload simple photos of receipts, especially from the Apple world. Sometimes it's a bit buggy, making it look like I haven't added an attachment to the expense yet, but then somehow it is there, and vice versa. I find that confusing. And sometimes, when finalizing a submitted expense, the window remains open even though it has already closed in the background, and if I press it again, it gets saved twice. It's a bit buggy sometimes, and that annoys me.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Pleo, I simply submit my business expenses, track outstanding amounts and the processing status. Everything is in one place, which reduces unnecessary complexity. The intuitive user interface, the straightforward registration, and the minimal time investment are particularly valuable to me.

I use Pleo for my company-paid expenses on work trips. I love how I don't need to fill out forms and save receipts manually anymore. I can pay directly using Pleo and submit the receipts at the same time. I really appreciate the simplicity of use and how it integrates with Apple Pay. It's completely painless to use, and I get reminders to submit the receipt after every purchase. Setting it up was trivial as my company did it for me.

I would like to be able to ask my company to raise my monthly limit for a specific range of dates that I know I will be on work trips ahead of time so it all works when I arrive

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

I really like Pleo's UI design and ease of use. It kind of reminds me of Revolut,  and Monzo with its simplicity. My favorite part is how simple the design looks and how straightforward it is to use. I love that when you go into Pleo, the first page is the expenses page, which is really useful with the dates, and it shows all the expenses on a historical timeline. That's like the best part for me. Additionally, I appreciate the speed at which I can get the information I need without having to click through multiple pages. The click-to-value ratio is really good, and I think it's important to keep it that way without overcomplicating it with analytics that aren't necessary for me as an end-user. Also, the initial setup was super easy, which is an amazing part of it. Pleo functions like a NeoBank by reducing barriers compared to incumbents, and I think they're doing a good job on that.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

I want to be able to look at expenses per merchant. It would be good if on the expense page, I could click on a merchant, like 'Just Eat', and see how much I've spent there. That's super useful for me because I wanna know if I've been using too much on a particular merchant.

**What do you like best about Pleo?**

What I like most is that processing with Pleo is always very fast overall. I can complete my tasks very easily and spend very little time on them. Especially in the app, processing is even easier with the scan function combined with AI-based extraction. I can process my receipts very quickly. These functions mean that I hardly have to do any extra work. I just have to scan the receipt and everything is automatically extracted. I just need to check it briefly once and then I can send it off, which saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

The functions I mentioned in the app, as far as I can tell, are not usable in the web app, i.e., in the browser on the laptop. Often, I have requirements that I prefer to handle in the web app, but some of the advantages that the app offers are missing. Additionally, I always have difficulties with the categorization of expenses, as there are relatively many categories. In Germany, with different VAT rates, it is often difficult to choose the right one, sometimes I feel uncertain and have to make an educated guess.

With Pleo, I can quickly manage expenses without additional communication effort, and see and handle all open processes at a glance. The app facilitates processing with the scan function and AI-supported reading, which saves me a lot of time.

It has simplified our daily approval process by an incredible amount compared to our previous system, and has been really easy to train our staff on.

Finding some options in the dropdown can get a bit tedious on PC. On mobile the most used options are at the top, but not on PC. We've also run into an issue with cash withdrawals that we hadn't anticipated, which wasn't obvious from the limit options that were available to use in the card limit menu.

For out-of-pocket claims, it provides an all-in-one platform for reimbursement that allows me to quickly snap a picture, upload it, and have everything presented clearly to avoid overcomplicating the reimbursement process. Additionally, for credit card users, Pleo’s real-time feed into the app is fantastic as it brings up live transactions without the typical wait time of two or three days, ensuring that I don't lose receipts or struggle to retrospectively do claims. The platform seamlessly prompts me to upload receipts as needed, keeping everything efficient. I find the approval and reimbursement processes very seamless and straightforward, as I can track manager approvals through the app. Pleo’s intuitive nature is exceptional, making any need for extensive user or Confluence notes almost unnecessary. The software is a breath of fresh air compared to other clunky systems due to its self-intuitive design and ease of obtaining feedback, which has been well-received within my finance department. Also, Pleo's vendor cards are incredibly useful in eliminating the chaos that happens when managing subscriptions originally assigned to individual credit cards. The smooth integration process, which was probably one of the easiest I've ever been involved in, speaks to the excellent work of their customer success team. I'm so satisfied with the product that I would confidently consider using it again in any future roles and have already recommended it to several people.

I find Pleo to be on the premium end of costing, which might be a deterrent when initially considering it, especially when the ROI hasn't yet been proven. Additionally, the integration with HiBob could be improved, specifically regarding hierarchy management. Currently, the only functionality that Pleo pulls from HiBob is names and status of accounts being onboarded or offboarded. However, it does not immediately pull in the managers and subordinates, so it doesn't map the hierarchy immediately, although this feature is reportedly pending.

The software is a killer. It is really easy to get an overview of your own and your company expenses. I used to be really bad a getting my receipts tracked but Pleo notifies me instantly to take a photo of it.
The automatic upload/integration to my ERP works great, and the auto fetch receipt feature in Outlook is really handy.
I also get the possibility for Pleo to work as a "bank" by giving me a quite high credit amount.
Easy parring of new cards for employees is really a nice feature too.

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

There is a fee almost every time I use the card which is very high and that is on top of the monthly base fee for the subscription. For a small business this runs up quite a bill when adding up everything.
Support is not very timely. It takes 4-5 days to respond to requests - even when I answer back the minute after.

**What problems is Pleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of receipts and easy overview of whats missing. This is a huge task for most business' and is completely solved in Pleo. I also get an overview of subscriptions on the card which is very handy.
Integration and monthly transfer to ERP is seamless and automatic.

I love that you can upload pictures of the receipts, add comments, and control the refunds you're getting. It's good for avoiding mistakes with expenses and helps to stay on budget. It also saves time when closing a project because you can gather those receipts digitally without storing so much paper. The initial setup from my phone was pretty easy, and the identification process was good.

I think the fact that you can't refund on an expense you did by mistake.

I love the interface of Pleo; it's very user-friendly. The UI is easy, clear, and fun to use, which is great because I don't want to spend too long figuring things out since I'm very busy. I also appreciate how straightforward the setup was. Everything is designed to be efficient and ensures the information I input is correct and gets reviewed and approved by the relevant departments smoothly.

I don't know if it's Pleo or my company, but it usually takes up to a month for refunds, which I find a little bit too long.

It is simple, easy to see transactions and process them, when something happened like a personal expense I can handle that with the person in charge at where I work and it works out!

**What do you dislike about Pleo?**

I could not change the ATM withdrawal limit, and didn’t know there was a monthly limit until I reached it.

It helps me to easily handle finances, it was not a great issue or a lot of work
