This kind of employment was even suitable for citizenship process — it is not different from any other employment. This kind of employment also enables me to use all the social entitlements & benefits (de facto & de jure paid from the salary as mandatory insurances) — unlike if the freelancing mode were used. **What do you dislike about Plane?** Speed. The request handling speed was critically slow in the most needed moments: while the response speed was fast, the requested simple employment certificate took 10-15d to produce (because of the delays in the underlying country-specific company). Also, the annual tax forms are prepared closer to the deadline (March), while other local companies make it in the 1st-2nd week of January. **What problems is Plane solving and how is that benefiting you?** Employment into an American company while staying a resident in Germany: first, as a foreign national on a permanent residency, then as a local citizen. This has simplified all the paperwork — taxes & medical and social contributons — to the level of a plain & simple regular employment into a German company — contrary to the typically used freelancer mode, where I had to do all this myself or hire accountants + tax advisers. Among other things, this kind of employment enabled me to get the local citizenship the easy way as a regular employee, also without difficulties of freelancers' audit & extra proof of stable income. In all cases, the estimated service cost (either implicit or explicit) would be the same in money terms, but it saved me a lot of nerves and mental health. ### 23.
