## About Phraseanet
Phraseanet is an open source DAM software used by many companies to store, search, manage, share and publish their digital media files. Phraseanet benefits a powerful search engine, Elasticsearch, and a rich ecosystem of plugins and extensions. It can be setup on premise or Saas. With a thesaurus, a collaboration tool to annotate pictures and request the users' feedback, an interface for the statistics... Phraseanet is a very complete solution. Also, unlimited users, collections or baskets. And no licence cost, since it's open source. For assistance, Alchemy provides a range of services around its solution (technical support, training, hosting, specific developments, LDAP directory...) and also offers "Parade", a fully customizable front end interface. The newest releases of Phraseanet include geolocation, and artificial intelligence search engines for autokeywording, color detection, and many more new features.

Having everything in one place supports clarity in objectives, in improving communication

**What do you dislike about Phraseanet?**

I believe that training or awareness should be considered to show it to people, because where I have used it, many do not use it and that does not allow for an adequate workflow.

**What problems is Phraseanet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardize the processes to achieve the goals... having the whole picture for all collaborators allows clarity in the goal and in the step-by-step process to reduce misunderstandings.
