# Which financial aid software platforms are most trusted by admissions directors at K-12 schools based on user reviews?

Only one K-12 player has a real sample size, so I'd rather hear from the people behind the numbers.</p><ul>

Trust from admissions directors on financial aid software probably comes down to how defensible the aid calculation is when a parent pushes back and asks why they got the number they did.

&lt;p&gt;I’d add auditability to the trust question. When a family challenges an award, the admissions team needs to reconstruct exactly which income data, verification result, formula version, and discretionary adjustment produced it. A consistent calculation is useful, but being able to explain that calculation months later is what would make the system defensible.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Trust would come from consistent aid calculations, clear documentation, and a workflow families can complete without constant intervention. What would break it fastest is inaccurate verification or opaque formula changes that admissions teams can’t easily explain to families.&lt;/p&gt;

FACTS being part of the wider tuition platform is the detail that cuts both ways. Schools already on FACTS get a genuinely connected experience. Schools not on it should ask whether they&#39;re buying financial aid software or quietly committing to a broader platform switch.
