INCREDIBLY effective and easy to use for urgent fundraising! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Regina L F. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024 **What do you like best about Petfundr?** I liked that Petfundr was obvious that the fundraising effort was related to pets or animals. My effort was specifically for at-risk cats in my area. The whole campaign was easy to set up and get running fast and it kept me updated the whole way. I loved getting tips from customer support on the best ways to enhance my campaign, thank donors, etc. **What do you dislike about Petfundr?** I wish there were more options for payment methods. Paypal was easy to connect, but I had so much success, I had issues with Paypal holding my funds, etc. Stripe was a bit more complicated to connect so I stuck with PayPal. I had to do this fundraiser fast so I had NO time to get a 501c3 set up, so I wish there were options right in Petfunder to work with a partner 501c3, and get going fast. **What problems is Petfundr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed a way to come up with money to buy a fence to create a pop up sanctuary for community/feral cats located on a county property in a park. The cats are at risk of being trapped and possibly euthanized and they are healthy and well taken care of by volunteer feeders. I needed to make things happy fast out of thin air and Petfundr helped me do just that. ### 2. Easy to add text, photos, media. I like it uses leading payment platforms like PayPal and Stripe for payment processing. I like that it allows to send updates to donors from the platform. I love that previous donors can be notified when a new campaign is created. **What do you dislike about Petfundr?** At the beginning, it takes some time to figure out where to do some of the stuff to launch campaigns. But after learning it is ok. **What problems is Petfundr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a small nonprofit helping homeless animals. We don't have the technical capacity or time to develop our own fundraising platform. We focus 100% on fundraising so to put it simply we wouldn't exist as a nonprofit without platforms like Petfundr. ### 3.
