  ### 1. Care itself good customer support lacking

**What do you like best about OptumCare?**

The providers are great. I do like that they have been willing to help me and have been consistent in the quality of their care. They actually take time to look into how I'm doing and help with health management. They care at the in person facilities and it makes me feel really good.

**What do you dislike about OptumCare?**

Their call in customer care portal is lacking. I don't like that you have to call back a few times to get the "right" customer care person to help you. I also don't enjoy that some customer service providers have attitude right out the gate. That was so rude! I wasn't yelling or being condescending. I was asking for help and got hung up on like I didn't matter. Y'all need to get them some sensitivity training or something.

**Recommendations to others considering OptumCare:**

Great for if you want an in network doctor to help you. Not great if you require strong customer support.

**What problems is OptumCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I called to change my primary. The first girl assisted on the phone but didn't make a note that it was pending. The second girl was annoyed I even tried to call her and when I asked to speak to someone who could help me better She hung up the phone!!!! I wasn't until the third one that I was able to get the note and confirmation and able to make my appointment at 10am. It just sucks that I was treated like I was stupid for not knowing how this works. I needed help and that second girl was SO RUDE! I was speaking kind as I could and just asking to get some assistance and she treated me like I was wrong to have even had called.

THE TEAM I WORKED WITH IS HELPFUL AND ALWAYS FIND SOLUTIONS

**What do you dislike about OptumCare?**

I WAS WORKING FROM HOME SO OUR IN OFFCIE WAS NOT AN OPTION.  IT WAS THE ONLY DOWN FALL.  BESIDES THAT , ALL WAS GREAT !

FOR HEALTHCARE SERVICES, THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST

**What problems is OptumCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I WORKED FOR OTPUM CARE AND I HAD NO ISSUE WITHT THE COMPANY .   GREAT SERVICES AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED FOR ALL PATIENTS.

**Describe the project or task OptumCare helped with:**

Nothing. Any issue, project or task is so difficult with Optumcare because they outsource all of their workers overseas. This makes communicating very difficult. Only specific plans use on shore representatives, and that is if that company pays extra for that.

**What do you like best about OptumCare?**

NOTHING. There is nothing at all that I have come to find that I like with any optum product. Again support is very limited and anyone at any location has no clue as to what is going on and cannot advise anything to you when you are in need of help.

**What do you dislike about OptumCare?**

Everything. I dislike the lack of communication amongst products. I wouldn't say I like the lack of communication for providers to seek help or even attempt to troubleshoot. You are forced to obtain their products. One section of the company never knows how to send you to the appropriate team for specifics, as everyone that you can get through can never help you. Again, this is all contributed to the language barrier for this company employing all overseas workers. Some of the appropriate departments you need to speak with do not have a way to communicate with them directly. All of this contributes to not having a good relationship with OptumCare. If you want to be contracted with United Healthcare then you are forced to get several Optum products and you have to sign up for each one.

**Recommendations to others considering OptumCare:**

If you can avoid it then do but it is very difficult to avoid, especially if you want to be in network with United.

**What problems is OptumCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, I am not solving any issues with them. I do not have any direct benefits that I can provide as a review for OptumCare because I find that, other companies operate better than them. However, if you want to be involved with United Healthcare, then you are forced to get several different products with OptumCare.

Checking on benefits for UHC and UMR

**What do you like best about OptumCare?**

Ease of use, quality of information provided, the overall look of the tool is easy to interpret and navigate

**What do you dislike about OptumCare?**

It could be written in more laymans terms so that I can reference it to the patient and have them understand better. Sometimes it can be confusing all of the uses that optum care has, like credentialing etc, I have used the tool before they integrated it into one tool and sometimes it confuses the doctor

**Recommendations to others considering OptumCare:**

it is not something that there is an a lternative to so if you must verify benefits with uhc and umr and credential you have to use it

**What problems is OptumCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

verify benefits, and managing the credentialing for multiples companies

OptumCare is a part of the benefits package for my company. Extremely easy to use and works well with the app.

The simplicity of the service. Easy to navigate

The app is sometimes glitchy. It takes time to load.

Optumcare is easy to use platform for a variety of benefits regarding healthcare. Particularly the HSA
