what I don't like in Confluence is limited offline support it's completely cloud-based and doesn't have offline support and one more challenge is that it has a rate limitation so you will feel irritated when large calls are made in a short period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) It is literally helpful for the development team as well as end consumers to visualize and interact with API resources without having any implementation logic in place.

2 ) Provides a single place for all your communication and breaks downs the communication barrier.

3) Its inbuilt feature to share pages with other team members is really awesome. As a result, it becomes helpful for others working in a large group.

Some users complain that all of its aspects are difficult to learn right away.

What problems is Open API Documentation for Confluence solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work in a software development company where I work on multiple software. For every software, we have the proper document, roadmap, architecture flow diagram, database schema and many other related components. We use Confluence for documenting everything in one place. The confluence provides nice templates for the creation of artefacts. Also, we integrate it with the Jira stack.

My team members create Open API compliant JSON or YAML so we generate beautiful and interactive documentation on the confluence page. Also, it provides multiple options to do that either we can fetch it directly from a given url or can paste it in the macro body.

From the confluence itself, we can use the interactive Try It Out! mode to test the API operations, response body, status codes, headers etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
