It is fairly easy to integrate out of the box, yet complex enough to customize for our various needs. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** Overall, a generally great product that is scalable in a large enterprise. There could be improvements in the database design though to provide even more efficiency and flexibility. Silanis has good support to solve problems that arise with the product, but fully integrated customization of the product within a large enterprise may take some time. **Recommendations to others considering OneSpan Sign:** Play around with the product, and learn as much about the provided functionalities as possible. It's great not to have to constantly go back and forth with the vendor to get the baseline functionality working as designed, as is the case with so many other products, both open source and COTS. The xHTML server we make use of is evidence of an organization that backs its product with well vetted engineering processes, including appropriate testing. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** Would love to see some features in xHTML server that can self-mediate secure xHTML forms to alternate formats such as PDFwithout building external integrations to do so, or requiring the ActiveX. **What problems is OneSpan Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** The customer is able to expedite the process of form signing and effecting financial transactions simultaneously/near real-time, and with the participation of high-ranking officials in the U.S. government. The integration is very flexible. The Silanis team has been very receptive to accomodate our unique needs and enhance their system with our requirements. The document storage and retrieval is secure and easy to implement. The Silanis development, support, and management teams are all very friendly and helpful and have worked with us to make our system stable and useable. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** The error logs are a bit confusing if you are not familiar with java, but we are learning to interpret them better as time goes on and the Silanis support team has been very helpful and prompt in figuring out any issues. **What problems is OneSpan Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have added more ease of doing business functionality for our agents and poilcyholders and removed the need to physically store signed documents and have them mailed to us for verification. This saves us time and money for it eliminates the need to meet our customers in person in order to get our contracts signed. It also eliminates the need to have our contracts printed, faxed, scanned and / or mailed. Silanis e-sign live is a secure way to e-sign documents through a multi-tiered authentication process. As a Business Administrator, it's important that I be able to get contracts signed and returned to our customers in a timely manner, and Silanis e-sign live allows me to do so. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** I love this product! The UI looks much better than our previous version of the product. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** Alerting on e-mail send failures could be improved upon. We had some issues early-on with expecting error messages coming back from the service, but we have since been able to parse log files with our alert monitors to get the information we needed. **What problems is OneSpan Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Silanis ESEP product for signing our Life products. We have had very few production support tickets come through, and our financial reps have made good use of the e-mail functionality built into the product. The security was easy to add/configure, and our security department's requirements were easily met. The on-site visit was particularly helpful in getting the initial installation set up, being able to document the steps taken, and on-site training for integration with the system. ### 8. I've been involved in this space for a longtime both in terms of utilisation and advisory roles and I recommend Silanis strongly as a supplier and partner. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** Actually very little - outside of the the US there are some cultural, legislative and localisation issues to deal with and for Silanis to deploy globally then thats still work to do ( EU e-sign relations as an example ) although in fairness thats less to do with Silanis and more to do with regional legal/commercial confusion. **Recommendations to others considering OneSpan Sign:** If your a large business consider on premise vs cloud. Also make sure you understand the legal differences between e-Signlive and I agree web buttons so you know what to say when people question your deployment of e-Signlive. **What problems is OneSpan Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to deliver straight through e-commerce processing without defaulting to paper based postal contracts with two companies where I'm on the board . I also intend to use e-signlive for a range of SME operations covering fine art sales and aviation media footage as retail examples. ### 9. My financial planner sent it to me to sign. It was a lot easier and faster than paper, when I had to print it, sign it, and then scan it before I emailed it back, and mailed the physical copy. Silanis made it easy and fast to process a transaction that used to take a good bit of time. In the winter, here in Chicago, I appreciate saving the extra trip outside to process a paper signature. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** The firm that sent this to me didn't have everything filled out. So, I had to ask them to resend it, as I could only sign a perfect document. This was the firm's fault, not the e-Signature fault. Maybe it could be easier for them to integrate data input fields. **Recommendations to others considering OneSpan Sign:** Look at what this does to the business process. Many people compare the price of e-signatures to false alternatives. This isn't compared to mailing a document. This is saving a customer a few days. This is avoiding an abandoned transaction. This is beating your competitors to a signature on the e-dotted line. Other vendors will tell you that their Saas solution is as secure, but that is just not the case. If you don't want to use your business process as an advertisement for the e-signature vendor, then you'll want to use e-SignLive. Architecture is superior to others in the market. They have consistently kept the platform stable while adding new features on a frequent basis. **What do you dislike about OneSpan Sign?** I reviewed e-SignLive a while back and I had reported that while it was stable, it's feature set was fairly limited. That has changed and now I see e-SignLive as a leader in the cloud hosted space. **Recommendations to others considering OneSpan Sign:** Start online and keep to a simple process that can meet 80% of your demand, then focus (if it's cost justified on the other 20%. **What problems is OneSpan Sign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We already had e-Sign Enterprise but needed a solution for lower volume situations where integration wasn't required or was impossible due to the 3rd party product. e-SignLive delivered in a big way. This gave us the an opportunity to bring small businesses and the smaller business lines at a large bank an opportunity to get into e-Signature while sticking with the enterprise solution. Time to market was reduced significantly. I recommend giving this a try for both light integration and no integration business cases. ### 24. The first being that some times their sandbox environment would be down. It would hinder our testing since our application had several steps after the first e-Signing so we couldn't proceed when it was down. All of a sudden our application wasn't working any more. We found that the .dll we were using no longer work with the changes they made.
