**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

What I like most about NI Multisim is its user-friendly interface and its powerful simulation tools. It makes designing and testing electronic circuits much easier because I can build circuits virtually, analyze their behavior in real time, and troubleshoot errors before implementing anything in hardware. I also appreciate the wide range of built-in components and instruments, since they save time and support learning while improving overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

One thing I dislike about NI Multisim is that some of its advanced features can feel limited compared with professional industry tools, particularly when working on highly complex circuit designs. It can also be fairly resource-intensive at times, which leads to slower performance on less powerful computers. Additionally, some component libraries don’t always include the exact parts I need, so I sometimes have to do extra customization.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NI Multisim helps me design and test circuits without needing physical components for every experiment. It lets me simulate circuits safely, quickly, and at a lower cost, which helps reduce mistakes before I build real hardware. For me, this means I save time, gain a clearer understanding of circuit behavior, and can complete projects and assignments more efficiently.

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

Multisim syncs all your projects. You can access them fron wherever you log in. I can also find a lot of projects and circuits already published publicly by the community. I find this very useful. The features are of course completely resourceful.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

Multisim does not show a graphical simulation of working circuits which is sometimes a setback. Other than that, it covers majority of the circuits and simulations.

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

The main feature of NI Multisim is how it backs up all your projects and provides online access from any device.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This time of pandemic has hampered laboratory work to a large extent. NI Multisim has helped me throughout my course to still have an intuitive and quantitative idea of what's going on in many circuits.

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

The best thing about NI Multisim is its simplicity, the way its designed to cater electronics engineers and help them simulate come of the basic as well as complex circuits, like I have personally used it in college a lot for simulating my projects. For Eg. I had designed an instrumentation amplifier and I was able to demonstrate its functionality to my professors at college through Multisim even before creating the circuit on PCB. Anyone who has just basic knowledge of electronics and easily use Multisim right away and the library is also enriched specifically for low power electronic circuits and the ICs are also available if we have a good Digital Design to be made. I have found it useful to explain the engineers at my current organization also about the working of some projects which we are currently building.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

We cannot use NI Multisim for heavy power circuits since its library does not have certain power components in it such as Power MOSFET, Power SCR etc. Otherwise rest everything is good. I faced some issues when I was creating a circuit of Multistage Power Amplifiers but then it was solved because I used Multisim Documentation and Help which was there online and also in the Software. I think some part of the software such as libraries having power components can also be updated with latest power components available in market.

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

I would like to recommend NI Multisim to people who are freshers as well as industry professionals and also to electronics DIY enthusiasts who want to build and simulate some really good and amazing circuits and want to have accurate results while prototyping.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an Electronics and Telecommunication engineer and I happen to simulate circuits very often so I use Multisim every time. The Analysis options which Multisim provides for analyzing the waveforms and sweep analysis is very good and is always helpful.

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

Circuit Designing analyzing and verifying results. It is also helpful in teaching circuits. It is much much better than proteus. It's results are very much close to real world, if I use right components. I have solved Analog to digital and digital to Analog Converter using Multisim. It is very helpful in solving logics and algorithms. I have solved 5 bit Karnaugh map on multisim using logic converter tool. Logic converter tool gave me a an equation, which I used in making logic of my obstacle avoiding robot.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

I don't find many of the components, like microcontrollers and Arduino and other electronic instruments and ICs. Please include as much as microcontrollers and Arduinos as you can. 
It doesn't have arduino and sensor library. I can't test or verify sensor results using multisim tool. 
It is a suggestion, please make a library for arduino and related sensors like, ultrasonic sensor etc.

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

It is a very good and user friendly simulation tool. It has lot of options. You can solve digital logics like Karnaugh map using this tool

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many of the ICs and microcontrollers are not available. That is why, sometimes I have to use other simulation tools like proteus. But many of the times, I do not satisfy with the results of proteus, proteus always gives ideal results.  
There are lot of benefits of NI Multisim, I found, it is very close to real world. Simulation results are very helpful in implementation of circuits and analysis. When I was in undergrad, I successfully tested ADC and DAC using Multisim. Based on the results of the simulation, I successfully implemented the circuit on vero-borad. And I got A grade in LICA (Linear Integrated and Circuit Analysis) subject.

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

Circuit simulations of almost all types.
In built AC/DC sweep and analyser.
Realtime waveform generated. Frequency response plotter. All lab instruments available in virtual form.digital analysis made handy and circuit designing made fun and handy for expert as well as beginners level.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

Everything has some short comings in case of Multisim its the not so friednly error messages and debugger buffer sometimes.
Also circuit editing not possible when simulation is running.

Definitely a good approch for beginners in solving complex problems and expertise level of design for daily barriers.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All types of circuit designing including analog, digital, power, VLSI, logical etc.
Realtime simulations on amplifier and digital logical circuit designing. Obtaining waveforms of generators designed and Power devices.

The ability to design with the help of the tool.
 It is very straightforward and user-friendly.
These factors have enabled our teachers to recommend this product for use by the students of our college

The UI/UX is very outdated. It feels like we are using an application from 20 years prior . It is a very functional software but it won't hurt to make it look from this millennium

It is a good software for students in college as it is easy to use and free.

Our problems are usually simulation for college projects where we simulate BJT and MOSFET to understand  their performance characteristics

Multisim is really handy and helpful tool has a lot of simulation tools and a lot of analog and digital circuits to simulate. It has tools like oscilloscope amd logic analyzers built in.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

No support for microcontrollers and higher levels digital circuits. Also the portability is limited as the number of ICs that can be added as modules are limited.

There are enough tutorials over the internet. Just search and you'll find all the error codes being sold on the internet.

I have been designing class A and class B amplifiers. Software is perfect for this purpose.

The easy way of connecting and testing the circuits.

I can test my electrical knowledge by setting the meters and realising what is good or not.

Check from the MatLab after the possible causes that dampens the dissipation and how to improve circuitry

Nothing really, best CAD software so far

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

It helps me visualize the most complex circuits so easily, helps me to understand and analyze clearly. Without this software, the simulation will never be so easy.It is one best software to analyze the complex circuits and best in chip design. It really gave me good insights during my undergraduation course. The best part that i liked in this tool is its spice simulation tool which gave a accurate result and its systematic capture. I would recommend to use this to whomsoever who is interst in science, physics can use this ..

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

I mean its cost is somewhat higher and to identify the icons it takes some time and we need to use to it. The user interface can be extremely difficult to navigate through. It would take weeks of training to utilize fully. Most the  free software are provind the similar functionality which does the same functioning so not much useful , systematic updates can enhance this product. Lot more improvements are needed. Set a basic tour of this software so that it helps the user to have quick aware. Have a  good amount of shortcuts as most people are used to shortcuts. Lot more bugs are occuring these days and need to work on those.

Its GUI is so easy to use and make the best use of Multisim. Make use of it for understanding the complex structures.i would recommend to use this as this is one of the finest software and make the best use of it.

I am using to simulate my complex circuits and used to analyze the designs. I am using in my projects. I haven't used its full extent but it really helped me in understanding my course work. I used this tool in solving the circuit oriented problems, which are mostly analog circuits. It helped in reading my textbooks and to analyze the ciruits.

I liked the ability to prototype almost anything on it.

It could be more flexible. For example, the possobility to assemble and disassemble could be really beneficial.

We can use the software to implement a circuit in it rather than physically on the breadboard and observe the output. Of course, it is easy to make changes in the circuit on software than in physical circuits so it makes easy for us to remove problems.

The ability to design and test circuits before having it actually on breadboard or PCB. Saves lot of time and money while ensuring the perfect circuit design.

The GUI for circuit simulation can be improved and more circuit elements/electric devices can be covered.

So far I haven't had any problem with using the tool

The best feature of it is pre-assessment of the designed circuit through schematic without actually making it.

Every software has drawbacks but NI Multisim tends to provides no technical faults.

Encountered with problems early on with this software but now it seems to be the perfect software for simulations and designing circuits.

The package is intuitive to use, and handles most complex simulations handed to it, with ease.

The amount of drive space that NI programs seem to occupy.

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

Very easy to visualize your circuit and run simulations on it. The user interface is very very good and labels are "meaningful" rather than convoluted. NI Multisim is usable for a variety of functions, and I think it is a good tool for people to use.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

May be difficult sometimes to find a component, but I believe it is easier to use than some of the other programs out there.

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

Consider getting the rest of the NI Suite as well. Ultiboard is a good companion tool if you are doing PCB work.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping simulations of circuits I need to build. Benefits are that you can build a circuit and test its functionality without experimentation/ physically building it. This is the most important step to complete before building a prototype circuit

NI Multisim is a one of a kind product. It features a fully featured circuit design framework that is as versatile as you need it to be.

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

I dislike the cost of the program. It is extremely expensive ($1000+ for the basic version, $4000+ for the most advanced version).

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

If you do circuit design, this product is definitely for you! While it comes with a hefty price tag, I believe that it is worth every penny. There are a lot of other competitors out there, but you would be hard pressed to find a product that measures up to this one.

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems we have solved using NI Multisim are mainly circuit design. The benefit is a very clear and accurate diagram of our circuits, thus saving us money in the long run.

it has cool ui and user friendly it is so easy to learn and make great projects with it even if you don't know programming at all also it is very good for trying project before building real one

the ni card is so expensive here so sometimes i prefer to use arduino  for small projects

The best part of multisim is the spice simulation which helps in resolving circuiyts for a chip designing and  helps save prototype iterations printed on pcb

nothing much to dislike about it as it is really easy to adapt in th phase 1 of learning to develop a circuit

**What do you like best about NI Multisim?**

I started to use Multisim about 4 years ago. At the beginning I had just an evaluation product, but since 2014 I had the opportunity to use a registed version (I've got the registration from one of my students). I am now using Multisim 13.0 and I am very satisfied with it. 20 years ago, when the electronics simulation software was at the beggining I was using PSpice for my needs of designing IC schematics. I changed to Multisim because it is easier to draw the schematics diagram, the number of (electronic) symbols  available is overwhelming, and the simulation is perfect. I am not saying that Pspice is a bad software but when compared with NI Multisim, NI Multisim is like driving a fast new car instead of a 100 years old Ford. What is amazing in Multisim is that you can learn it after 5 minutes of using it.  And of course NI Multisim comes with UtilBoard, another software where you can transfer the schematics that you have just made, and have a board designed with ease. 
 I guess Multisim is still offering the evaluation version, but in this version the number of libraries (and electronic symbols available) is limited. So go with the registered version of the multisim and you will not regret. 

**What do you dislike about NI Multisim?**

 When compared with Pspice, it is not so easy in Multisim to edit the simulation MODEL of a device. You have this possibility of course, but in Multisim, each symbol comes with its MODEL pre-defined. You do not have a library of MODELS available and easy to edit and change.  

**Recommendations to others considering NI Multisim:**

Buy the registered version afer evaluating, the number of libraries that it contains is overwhelming. 

**What problems is NI Multisim solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an online tutor with 24houranswers.com and I am doing some of the homework of my students with NI Multisim. It is faster and better than using PSpice.

There was somewhat of a steep learning curve in the beginning.

Power Electronics personnel should definitely master Multisim as this experience would help them in learning many other software tools.

Simulating the circuits and finding alternate solutions can be easily done using Multisim as there is no capital required for changing the circuitry and testing it. This way it is much better to find the best suited components to be used in your products.
