Just the type of licensing n8n offers with self hosting option; it made the tool grow and develop like wild fire with a huge and loyal audience; it has it all. while their offering is generous, yet comparing self-hosting to their cloud subscription and its limitations makes a super hard decision to subscribe to show support; if n8n adds a subscription tier for on premise members to have all features of the cloud against a limited and reasonable subscription i believe many will happily pay, they generate revenue and users get more features. that doesn't exist today. Don't get me wrong, I am not a sadist.

I simply love it when the effort is worth the juice.

What do I mean by this?

N8N looks incredibly easy at first.

Then you get confronted with API's, Curl Commands, and a whole lot of documentation.

Thank god I am a speedreader (I read quickly 400+WPM if I focus) ; otherwise, I would have drowned, since I also have dislexia (the power to read and write wrong while still understanding what is being said), so if you can read, you are one of the few that will master this tool, and since you are reading this congratulations!

Get started, my friend.

Ease of Implementation is there; all you need is to use your brain.

Customer Support is stellar. I mean, they pop out a new baby nearly every week, talk about iterations.

Frequency of use, I would say I have not stopped using it since I got started, and the number of features you have is incredibly vast.

Ease o integration is there considering you simply have to follow instructions, with a little salt on the wound of going nuts until you figure out you were simply opposed to copy and paste, and not overcomplicate things.

So don't think this feels or seems to simple, because it is.

And for all you people with ADHD and dyslexia like me out there, who have a million ideas, and now a proper way to sort and tackle them or build them, this is it.

Keep in mind, I have always loved understanding complex mechanics. I have studied Webdesign and Marketing, so I do have an understanding of systems and processes, as well as sequences. API's are one of the basic parts of WEB and Email Link Building, and so much more.

And for the first time in a long time, I can see myself using most of my know-how to then build systems that take care of sorting the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What is least helpful about n8n?

I don't have much to say that is bad about n8n

Some say it is too techy; to me, it's just about techy enough for me to understand it and to be happy to have this much freedom in execution, laid out the right way.

I would have loved a more structured Video-based or HTML5-based tutorial in the beginning, but that is me complaining on a very high level.

What are the downsides of using n8n?

I don't see any at the moment. It's not like WordPress that kills the vibe sometimes haha

It just takes a moment to understand and think around some parts. But once figured out, you are golden.

It's like walking. Sure, it was fun to crawl at some point, then you worked hard on walking. Sure, it felt like you were flying when jumping around as a child on a trampoline and then you saw the video and realised that it looks cute.

it is non/low code. very easy to follow the workflow process. The new AI builder i very good and know your most used integrations. It is very easy to setup credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Helped me complete the connection work of a large number of APPs and the relatively more free nodes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. When i use the vector store Node，like Qdrant，I found that there is no delete and update interface provided for me, so when the document information changes, there is no way to directly complete the update operation of the document.

I can't even call the delete method to delete it manually because the insert interface does not return the corresponding Id value.

I hope the official can update this part of the interface, because an effective RAG system relies heavily on this function.

2. I also saw that someone can complete the connection between vector and LLM through Code Node and LangChain Node. I hope the official can provide more documents to help users complete the connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is so developer friendly and a lot of customizable options. The fact that we can build up our own nodes, self host for free etc is a huge plus for me. Things like make.com bill us on usage on the other hand n8n provides a perfect platform for scalable automations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
