Not only that, but contrary to competitors like Zapier or Workato, you can access our source code and run n8n on your own server.

In simplest terms it allows you to stitch multiple tools together and generate an automated workflow through them. For example you want an ai model to analyse cctv footage and identify who ever enters the gate. So you use an api to channel the feed to an ai model tell the ai model what to do and what to return and what would trigger something. Like check if it's employee.
