The views are customizable in a simple process and data retrieval isn't bogged down. The support team is accessible and invested in helping users get the most from the system. I appreciate the timely responses. Implementation was straight forward and well supported. As a frequent user, I appreciate being able to use Molecule with ease. Integration was also well supported. **What do you dislike about Molecule?** The lack of breadth of subject matter expert experience from the support team / developers is evident. While traders needs are readily visible and addressed, the middle and back office needs are resolved in a clunky manner. It would be great to see the team rounded out to include those groups. **What problems is Molecule solving and how is that benefiting you?** Molecule is capturing deals and allowing ease of confirmation and monitoring for compliance. **Official Response from Alex Chandy:** > Thank you for the time you spent to send us this valuable feedback. With regards to the breadth of subject matter knowledge across the different customer functions that use an C/ETRM platform, this is a challenge that we are addressing. We constantly balance staff capability development across product knowledge (efficiency and quality of support), customer domain knowledge (time to triage) and technical knowledge (translate customer needs). This is a work in progress and sometimes made more challenging as the as there is more variation in customer process (and thus needs) in risk, compliance and back office functions. Regarding your experience with our support desk, we monitor our service levels constantly and so your feedback is extremely valuable. Our response time goal is within 3 hours of receiving an email during support hours. We currently average 96 minutes for response times for all support emails. And our support desk is manned from 6am to 6pm in both US and EU Central Time. Emails received after hours and prioritized for first response the next business day. I am sorry to hear there were occasions where your emails were not addressed promptly. Our team does a review of performance times for the previous week every Monday. Assuming your emails where sent during working hours and not on the weekend, I would like to understand the details when your emails were left unaddressed. I like the gui and the API capabilities in python **What do you dislike about Molecule?** Unexpected bugs. Many features dont work as intended or introduce bugs (like fees, expiry date, etc) For basic features it works pretty well though. **What problems is Molecule solving and how is that benefiting you?** ETRM **Official Response from Alex Chandy:** > Thank you for the feedback, ratings and your compliment of the support staff. At Molecule, we strive to give our customers a first class experience with our product. As a vendor in the C/ETRM space, we believe that a significant part of the customer experience is created with our services, something that this space is singled out out as lacking, in industry surveys. There is little charm in having a grand hotel building if the rooms are shabby and the staff indifferent. As for feature depth, this is a key driver for a customer requests. Features exist in a continuum. They are never "done, done", but always being enhanced and tuned for better performance and usability. Our Support Desk Manager meets with Engineering leads and Product Managers weekly to discuss all customer requests and customer discovered errors every Friday. This process ensures that customer issues are assigned the right priority and urgency in the development cycle. Molecule runs a continuous development and integration process, which means that our Product Managers are always working on customer feedback and designing upgrades. This year, we have spent approximately 60% of our engineering budget on enhancement story points that came directly from customers such as yourself. On average we execute two code releases a month. So a customer request can be released into production quickly. We love demanding customers, as they make the product better. Thank you for being a Molecule Customer. ### 5. Smaller items: 1) company-wide (ours) access to select (individual) queries and saved items can create issues. **Recommendations to others considering Molecule:** The $ return, or "bang for the buck" from Molecule is amazing. Moreover, the customer service is second to none from a vendor perspective. **What problems is Molecule solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data warehousing, energy analytics, data transition and migration across various company platforms Molecule is a significant portion of our commercial analytics and risk management ### 6. The interface - overall the interface is very intuative and userfriendly Support - they are very quick to reply and address any issues **What do you dislike about Molecule?** Sometimes it miscalculates the mwh on a trade and it can be misleading. For example, when entering a peak product in PJM its 5x16 ... the software was calculating it at 7x16 and therefore the total mwh was wrong. Wish there were more filtering options ... for example, by hub ? like PJM west or PJM AD Wish it was easier to do bulk uploads, for example: sometimes I would get an error just because the word wasnt capitalized **Recommendations to others considering Molecule:** just a headse up that sometimes the mwh calculations are not correct and you would need to reach out to Molecule directly in order to update it. Also if you need to do a bulk upload, take a look at their templates before trying - their online templates are helpful. **What problems is Molecule solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of our most important part of the job is to see our postions. Molecule allows us to download daily reports in order to view of positions and from there we make our trade decisions. Another important role for Molecule is to show trade tracability. since it is relatively easy to enter trades in molecule, i think this makes it easy for the trader to quickly enter new trades as they are getting executes in real-time ### 7.
