What I like most about MarkInMinutes is the simplicity of using the program after the learning curve is overcome. What I also like is the overall look of the main account dashboard, (primarily because of its simple, yet comprehensive, nature), and I also like the speed at which the program operates, i.e. little to no lag. Lastly, the program is just very modern in that incorporates AI into grading assignments, which is very unique and transformative. I definitely feel that the product is worth the cost being paid for it. The program is very transformative and there are positive updates being made to it periodically. The only thing I dislike about the program is the relatively large learning curve that needs to be overcome in order to learn all of the ins and outs of the program such that all of its functionality can be properly used. For example, it could reference specific sections, highlight exactly where an answer is strong or lacking, and explain why rather than simply suggesting that more detail is needed. What I like most is how fast it gets you from a blank assignment to a usable rubric. I set the assignment type and subject, and it auto-generated a full weighted grading profile - four dimensions with clear descriptions and weights totaling 100%, which I could re-balance right there with sliders instead of building a rubric by hand. That alone saved me the tedious part of grading setup.

The AI output is the real differentiator, though. Every dimension score comes with an evidence-cited justification rather than a bare number, so a grade is something you can actually defend to a student. The biggest downside for me is that its use case feels quite specific. It is designed around grading and assessment, so I don't see it having much value for my day-to-day work at Ebiquity, such as calendar management, meeting coordination, travel or general Executive Operations tasks. I would also be cautious about uploading confidential company information or employee work until the company's security and data-processing requirements have been fully checked. There are also some functional limitations: it currently cannot analyse Excel formulas or calculations and does not support audio or video submissions, so it would not cover every type of assessment.
