The caliber of the graphics is terrific, which is fantastic for sharing with others who may not be familiar with it. It's very dynamic and makes it easy to scan around, pan, zoom in, and zoom out. Additionally, its reasonable pricing makes it financially viable. Online maps make it possible for our clients to get the benefit of GIS without knowing anything about GIS. All they know is they can see markets in a dynamic way that really opens their eyes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Maptitude Online? We've pushed Maptitude Online to the limits because we use graphics very extensively. So, you could say that's a "problem", but on the other hand, they've been improving it all the time, and it's a work in progress. So I wouldn't characterize it as a problem. I can't say there's anything we "dislike" about Maptitude Online. The only shortcoming is that the online version is not as capable as the desktop version. But we've worked closely with Caliper staff and pushed them to incorporate as many capabilities that are available in the desktop version to the online version. Maptitude Online provides dynamic maps for regulatory compliance, replacing static PDFs. Our bank clients prefer the interactive maps, enhancing their experience. They can really visualize their "assessment areas" and manipulate the maps to the view that is most helpful for their purposes. One of the biggest challenges for banks is to identify the ideal assessment area for regulatory compliance purposes. Maptitude Online is a strong extension of the Maptitude Desktop suite, bringing powerful mapping capabilities into a cloud-based environment. For economic development work, it makes it easy to upload and geocode data, like business locations, workforce stats, or available sites, and quickly turn that into clear, interactive maps. The platform is especially useful for visualizing trends, identifying opportunities, and supporting site selection decisions. Our clients have always wanted to leverage mapping tools, but most of our clients don't have mapping experience and many of the available platforms are complex and time-consuming to learn. Maptitude Online’s “Publish” feature solves this by allowing us to easily share interactive maps that clients can immediately use. They can explore and extract insights from the maps without needing to understand how to build maps or import datasets.
