From a functionality perspective, I would like to see greater flexibility in how inventory is mapped between channels and warehouses. Currently, much of the stock linking is channel-based, whereas the ability to link and manage inventory more effectively at SKU level across different channels and warehouse locations would provide greater control and simplify some operational processes.

I really appreciate how Linnworks has been a significant step up in terms of ease of use and overall reliability, especially compared to our previous OMS system. The API is extremely comprehensive and well-architected, which allows us to connect Linnworks directly into our AI infrastructure for the orchestration and automation of tasks and reporting. I also like that the Linnworks API exposes every function available within the UI, enabling automation of any task and centralizing data reporting. Additionally, the setup was very easy because the system is pretty intuitive, and we got excellent support from our Linnworks account manager, Euan, and his team during the switch, which went better than expected given the complexity of the operational migration. What I like best about Linnworks from a customer service perspective is the total visibility it gives us over every order. When a customer contacts us with a query, we can instantly look up their order across any marketplace, see its exact fulfilment stage, and grab the tracking details in seconds. The integration with the B&Q marketplace is definitely a weak point. We frequently encounter errors when trying to process order cancellations directly through Linnworks. Additionally, attempting to issue partial refunds (anything less than the full amount) constantly throws up system errors, forcing us to log in and handle these transactions manually on the channel itself. Linnworks has helped us to successfully expand our business through the Marketplace Channels. Rather then access up to 15 different order portals every day, we now have one central place to access the orders, which is really helpful. The fact that we integrate with our carriers and the shipping information is entered automatically into the marketplace portals is a significant admin time saving for us and we believe saves us around 2hrs per day. It's also a very cost effective modelling. We were previously using a partner who charged a % of turnover, but the Linnworks pricing model means we can profitably grow.
