# Which email tracking tools help account managers improve outreach efficiency?

Hello G2 community, this one is for the account managers: which email tracking tools genuinely improve outreach efficiency in that seat? The mechanics that matter for this persona: open rates and click rates that show when a client is engaging, those signals landing in the CRM so the whole account team sees them, and follow-up timing that stops depending on memory. HubSpot Sales Hub (4.4, 13,915+ reviews): email tracking inside the CRM many account teams already run, so open and click activity lands on the account record where renewal conversations get planned; email categorization rates 91% on G2's feature data.

Salesloft (4.5, 4,285+): a sales engagement platform where tracking feeds structured cadences, the right shape when account management runs on scheduled touchpoints rather than ad hoc emails.

Timing is the real change for account managers, more than hours saved, since knowing a renewal contact just reopened last quarter's proposal beats shaving minutes off a send. Worth flagging that open signals have gotten noisy, between mail-privacy prefetch and bot scanners, a lot of opens aren't human, so the durable value has shifted toward click and reply signals and the threaded history landing on the account record.
