HiMama helps me stay connected with my kids throughout the workday. Communication with my kids Teacher is very simple and available for me through the messages section! Their teacher sends me photos and descriptions of the days activities. The teacher can remind me when my kiddo needs more supplies, like clothing. I love it! My teaching staff and families love HiMama because it's easy to use. Even the most technologically hesitant people use the app with ease. On our annual surveys, "communication" has become less of an issue and I thank HiMama for that. We have added staffing and billing to our account, and both have helped us run our center more efficiently. The HiMama staff are some of the nicest people I've worked with! I would love to see the child profiles become more customizable and easier to navigate. When we have a new family, the child's information is listed in one single column as "special instructions" and it can be hard to find the thing we need when the moment arrives. The videos and pictures that teachers upload every other day make me feel so calm, seeing him so happy and enjoying all the different activities. Plus, I feel a closer relationship with the teachers and school, they always answer the messages right away and I can see what their day to day looks like. I love the structure of the feed and the option to view both photos and videos. I also love that you can comment on both photos and videos. The schedule is nice, but I do wish you could see food and sleep updates before the EOD report. Messaging feature is easy, and I love how it is in the app and also goes to my email. My only dislike would be in user error I feel like for some individuals using the app they will need proper training on how to use the app as I have had experience form different teachers in putting in the wrong data and I've had to call and question what the entered.
