Leave dates is self intuitive. Easy to set up and quick to understand. I had tried several others before discovering Leave Dates and haven't looked back! I am able to personalise the leave types, decide what comes off the annual entitlement. Entitlement years can be Jan- Dec or Apr-Mar and all bank holiday allowances are included and the correct days leave deducted when bank holidays/weekends overlap. If someone has booked a half day off and you have set the calendar to not permit 2 people off at the same time, Leave Dates still recognises that someone has booked time off even if one is in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so no overlap. Simple to use, employees like using the app, and managers can easily see any holiday clashes before approving. It allows greater planning at key holiday times, and flexible enough to show more than just holiday leave. Reports are useful particularly if an employee leaves as we can see exactly what holiday has been taken in one document. Highly recommended, with prompt support when questions arise.

We have used Leavedates now for years, moving from the free tier, to hundreds of users. It was really easy to onboard and manage the users via import/export functions. We moved from a spreadsheet system to LeaveDates, and our HR team workload was massively reduced. Our users, both salaried and weekly paid now book all their daily/hourly/weekly leave via LeaveDates. In the few cases we have needed to contact customer support, the response has been quick enough and always handled by someone who understands and also has been to resolve queries.
