"Intuitive, Efficient Course Creation with LearnUpon"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

Using LearnUpon to create courses is easy thanks to its straightforward design. The platform’s modules make it simple to organize content in a clear, step‑by‑step flow. Overall, building courses feels intuitive and efficient from start to finish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

One thing that I wish LearnUpon did, or looked at differently is the integration of Live, instructor led courses. It would be nice if an LMS could have live events, that might not need to be tied to a course, but could stand alone on their own. Additionally, if it's possible to save a color in the editor, so one doesn't have to constantly, manually, enter a HEX code, that would be soooo good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful, User-Friendly LMS Continuously Evolving With Agentic AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

One of the things I continue to appreciate about LearnUpon is how user-friendly and flexible the platform is, especially as our training programs continue to grow. The ability to manage self-paced courses, live learning, reporting, and automated enrollments in one place remains incredibly valuable.

What I'm most excited about now is LearnUpon's continued evolution and growing dedication to a true Agentic Learning Platform. The introduction of Create+ has opened up exciting possibilities for developing more engaging and interactive learning experiences, particularly with AI-assisted course creation.

I'm also really interested in LearnUpon's vision for its Agentic Learning Platform, AI agents, and the new AI coaching feature. The potential to connect learning data with AI tools, generate insights through natural language, and eventually automate more administrative workflows is especially exciting.

I also appreciate LearnUpon's continued investment in improving the learner experience, expanding integrations, and providing opportunities for administrators to learn and share ideas through the LearnUpon community.

Overall, what stands out to me is that LearnUpon isn't standing still. It's continuously evolving, and I'm excited about the direction it's heading, particularly how AI can help us spend less time on repetitive administrative tasks and more time creating meaningful learning experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

Live Learning is one area where I'd love to see improvements, particularly with session series, registrations, automatic registration, and the ability to make changes after a series has started. Managing learners who enroll later, bulk registering participants, and reconciling attendance between LearnUpon and Zoom can sometimes require more manual work than expected.

Reporting and analytics have improved significantly, but greater flexibility in customizing reports and dashboards would be a welcome addition. The ability to combine enrollment, attendance, assessment, and certification data across multiple courses into a single report would further streamline reporting and reduce the need to export and manually reconcile data from multiple sources. I'd also love to see AI integrated more deeply into reporting and analytics, with the ability to identify trends, highlight learning gaps, flag potential compliance issues, and generate actionable insights through natural language. This would help administrators move beyond simply pulling reports to proactively understanding learner progress, identifying areas for improvement, and making more informed decisions.

Topic Forums could benefit from additional customization, including the ability to reorder posts, better organize resources, and notify learners when content is added or updated.

With LearnUpon's growing investment in AI and its Agentic Learning Platform, I'm especially excited about the potential to address some of these challenges through smarter automation. Being able to identify enrollment discrepancies, streamline attendance reconciliation, generate reports through natural language, and automate repetitive tasks would be a game changer.

Overall, these aren't necessarily limitations that take away from the value of the platform, but opportunities to make an already powerful LMS even more effective. I'd love to see LearnUpon continue connecting its AI innovations with the everyday challenges administrators encounter, allowing us to spend less time troubleshooting and more time improving the learning experience. "User-Friendly with Robust Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

I find LearnUpon simple to use and user-friendly with a nice design and user experience. From an admin perspective, it's easy to update users' courses, set up learning journeys, and manage things effectively. I appreciate the reporting features and the ability to create sequenced learning journeys and specific paths for different groups. Additionally, the platform allows us to enroll users into specific roles and ensure they have access to relevant learning and evaluations like exams or quizzes, which helps in tracking performance and following up on due dates. Managers can also report on specific groups, which gives them more ownership and autonomy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

I find that the learning paths in LearnUpon need more flexibility in how they are assigned. Currently, they can only be allocated based on specific custom attributes or fields. It would be better if there was an option to section people by group for more adaptability in navigating their learning journeys. Additionally, the catalog section could be improved. It would be helpful if learners could view courses more flexibly, with exams and accreditations available for self-enrollment in a more user-friendly manner. Also, while the reporting features are generally good, it would be beneficial if reports could be produced in a format that's easier for non-admins to read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Tier Reporting in a well balanced platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

The initial setup was straightforward, allowing us to get up and running quickly. LearnUpon LMS provides a centralized location for learning resources and development opportunities, making it easy for learners to navigate and access content. The platform offers a moderate degree of flexibility in customizing the learner experience, including the landing page, navigation, and course structure. Reporting is a particular strength, with the ability to create both broad and highly targeted reports based on learners, courses, teams, and other variables. Compared to other platforms we've used, including 360Learning, LearnUpon provides stronger reporting capabilities and responsive support, which has helped streamline administration and data analysis. Pricing is competitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

Always looking for ways to customize the learner experience - LU does well, but we always share feedback and they listen to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fairly Robust LMS Comes With Odd Limitations. May not be for every organization/association."
3/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

It is highly customizable. Almost to the a point where I feel that our organization isn't fully using it to its fullest potential. It is relatively easy to navigate on both the admin and learner side (though easier on the latter than the former if I'm being honest). This is the 8 or 9th LMS that I've encountered over the course of my career, and it has some of the most out-of-the-box features from the client perspective that I can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

There are some odd limitations that we did not learn about up front in our initial presentations of this LMS. For instance, while you can build and host courses within modules, known as "Live Learnings" (previously this feature were referred to as "ILT's"), the integration defaults classes that have multiple sessions across days or weeks to one Zoom meeting, and this has to be manually adjusted afterward, and reverts back to this previous single-session state if an update to the live learning (such as a time change or even an instructor change). While you can work around this, it does require extra time and effort on the admin side to double-check two levels where information can be viewed/accessed by learners. This has been an ongoing issue and unless I am missing something with how Zoom integrates with the LMS, I don't know that this is changing. Another issue is that, with student registrations, purchase/enrollment in a class must happen FIRST before they are able to register for the date they wish to attend an instructor-led class, which is backwards from the logic of any live event booking site I've ever encountered (ex. sports tickets, concerts, etc.). Extra work must be done in order to telegraph available dates to students so they have an awareness of what sessions are available, and then its incumbent on the student to remember to go BACK to this course after purchase and select the date. "User-Friendly LearnUpon with Create+ for Fast, Reliable Content Creation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

LearnUpon is very user friendly and the create+ tool has added another level to creating content fast and reliably, without much re-work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

LearnUpon does have some interesting setups and automated actions ie when you assign a course to a group, anyone who is added to that group in the future gets enrolled in the courses unless you delete them from the group.

There are some limits with what we can do with slack integrations. Currently can only be used for notifications, no other actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive LMS with Powerful Content Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

I really like that LearnUpon is intuitive and easy to learn, which makes it accessible. The Create+ tool stands out because it allows me to generate lessons from existing content easily, and the features are easy to find and use. Additionally, setting it up was straightforward and relatively easy, which was a great start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

I wish there was a way to merge users and histories together. We had a user in one role transition to a full-time employee. They had one email to begin and a new email upon hire. I'd like to merge them together to have an accurate history by person, not by unique emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brilliant LMS utilising automation: turns customer & employee training into a seamless experience"
5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

LearnUpon has been a great fit for us as a scaling SaaS company. We use it for both customer training and internal onboarding from a single portal, which has been really valuable. The HubSpot integration is best-in-class and the AI-powered course authoring tool has dramatically cut down the time it takes us to build and update content. The automation capabilities mean the platform largely runs itself once set up — customers are enrolled in the right courses based on their role, language, and lifecycle stage without any manual effort. Our CSM has been exceptional throughout, and the onboarding support meant we were up and running faster than expected. For any SaaS company that runs on HubSpot and wants training to feel like a natural extension of the customer journey, LearnUpon is hard to beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

The reporting can be a little unintuitive at times, and there are some gaps in what you can surface publicly, for example you can't display a user's company name alongside their course review, which feels like a small but noticeable miss. And while the price point is justified by the feature set, it is a significant step up from alternatives on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use UI/UX with Consistent, Customer-Driven Updates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

The UI and UX are easy to use, and the product gets consistent feature updates based on customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

It lacks third-party data integration and doesn’t support e-commerce funnel data. Since user data starts from the LearnUpon page, marketing-source leads aren’t captured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Support and Easy Features, but Messaging Threads Need Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about LearnUpon?

The support at LeaenUpon is amazing. They are quick to respond and do their best to solve problems quickly. Sometimes they even change things to make our experience with it better. I also love how easy some features are to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LearnUpon?

The messaging feature isn't the best. There isn't a good way for all people to see message threads and if you forward a message within LearnUpon it doesn't give all relevant information. It is a little frustrating having to forward an email from Outlook AND respond to messages within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
