I appreciate the large number of interfaces to MS Word, MS Excel, databases, etc. Integration with Autodesk Inventor is particularly important to me because I develop rule-based applications that are intended to generate CAD models and drawings. **What do you dislike about Knowledge Bridge?** Knowledge Bridge deserves to have a larger number of users. **What problems is Knowledge Bridge solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowledge Bridge has a rule engine that is used to decribe all the technical rules of my product. These are used to automate the design process. The time consuming work to design my product manually is now reduced to a minimum. ### 2. kBridge as an upgrade AutoDesk Engineer to Order **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** David L. | IT Systems Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2023 **What do you like best about Knowledge Bridge?** * The developer environment is easy to use, and I rarely have to resort to using a text editor * I like the use of javascript to write engineering rules. * User interfaces for your custom applications are easy to add and have a wide variety of customization options. **What do you dislike about Knowledge Bridge?** Its a bit more difficult to debug than a more traditional compiled language (no breakpoints) When writing code, there is no autocomplete or suggestions Because this is a web-based application, it is a bit more of a challenge to connect to any in-house databases. In our case, we wrote a web service as a go between. **What problems is Knowledge Bridge solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a modern /supported platform to replace our existing configurator build with Autodesk ETO. We use it as part of a system to quickly generate prints and more importantly code for our router tables ### 3. Customer support is personal and convenient. **What do you dislike about Knowledge Bridge?** Debugging can be challenging on the cloud platform. Some concepts can be difficult to grasp. **What problems is Knowledge Bridge solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing custom UI for inputting information and integrations with Excel, Word, Database backends and Autodesk Inventor. This allows us to automate engineering processes from estimating to final delivery. ### 4.
