# What's the best sales intelligence platform for mid-market outbound teams that need unlimited lead access without per-export fees?

I've been looking into which sales intelligence platforms work best for mid-market outbound teams that need unlimited lead access without per-export fees, and this is where the tools diverge most sharply. Per-export fees and credit caps that compound at scale change the cost calculation completely for teams running high-volume outbound, and the pricing models in this category vary enough that the headline tier price rarely tells the full story.

Three platforms that come up most on mid-market outbound and lead access: GTM Workspace - Powered by ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, and Cognism.

Export limits and some features gated behind higher pricing tiers are worth pressing on directly before committing.

Apollo.io: Brings lead generation, contact data, sequencing, and engagement together in a single platform; reduces prospecting time and improves reply rates; Chrome extension plus Salesforce CRM integration; budget-friendly package still provides a feature-rich platform. Allows lean mid-market teams to do more without adding headcount for separate outreach tools.

Cognism: Chrome extension pulls verified direct dials straight from LinkedIn Sales Navigator; connection rates higher in UK and European accounts; enriches CRM and tradeshow lists directly; saves significant manual research time. Coverage thins outside Europe and APAC has fewer verified phone numbers.

Seamless (formally Seamless.AI): Real-time B2B search engine for verified emails and cell phone numbers; AI parses through data to provide verified contacts; integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, and Outreach; buyer intent alerts notify when a prospect searches for relevant products.

The sampling suggestion above is the cheap version of what I was getting at, and it also answers the modelling question. The unit worth comparing isn't cost per export, it's cost per contact you'd actually dial. Pull a sample from each platform, see what survives verification, then divide the tier price by what's left. Two tools that look a long way apart on the pricing page often land close together once you do that.

### Comment 2

For high-volume outbound, I’d care more about predictable access than the headline price. Unlimited only helps if the data quality stays consistent, so I’d test a large sample for valid emails and direct dials before trusting the model at scale.

### Comment 3

I’d look beyond the word “unlimited” and compare the actual usable-contact cost at scale. Export limits are only one piece when phone credits, enrichment, intent data, and CRM features can sit behind different tiers. Has anyone modeled Apollo, ZoomInfo, Cognism, or Seamless at the same monthly prospecting volume and found the apparent pricing advantage changed?

### Comment 4

On outbound, per-export fees and data quality tend to move in opposite directions, which is what makes "unlimited" tricky. A metered tool effectively rations you toward its freshest, most-verified records, while truly unlimited access lets you drain the whole database including the stale tail, so the fee you saved on exports comes back as a higher bounce rate and reps burning mornings on disconnected numbers. That's usually why data quality slips at exactly the volume you were hoping unlimited would unlock.
