The monitoring system has improved immensely. While it is primarily used to pull transcripts as needed, we also monitor the IRS account of clients that contract with us to provide that service. With monitoring we get to inform the client they will be receiving the notice and what we believe it may be concerning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a comprehensive tool, therefore sometimes it may seem complex. Complexity leads to users not knowing how to accurately use all the features.

I would also like to suggest a practitioner license. That was the practitioner could have an assistant help them manage the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to use! I've used similar products in the past, but they were always so clunky and "overdone." IRS Solutions is easy to use, easy to navigate, and doesn't overwhelm the user with filler that isn't necessary. There isn't a long learning curve, as much of the platform is easy to figure out. The only hiccup we have encountered is not being able to edit the pdf files it generates. We often add notes to pdf documents while working on a case and you can't do that on the pdf files generated (for example, a 433-A). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting transcripts in one click instead of waiting HOURS on hold! (We found IRSS at a time when IRS hold times were at a peak- I literally waited 9 hours and never spoke to a human). Also love the IRS forms that pre-populate client and representative data. The weekly updates save so much time checking for approvals or transcripts. Monthly CPE courses are a bonus! Hmm... I wish it could communicate with our other softwares, like Drake or our CRM. We already have client portal and e-sign functionality there so adding an additional client portal is somewhat cumbersome, especially with non-tech-savvy clients. We did the initial import, but any new people have to be manually entered every time. Also would love to see more IRS forms available, if possible, to pre-fill with client info. The simplicity and intuitive flow.The TABS are simple and too the point without unnecessary bells & whistles. The PDF preview is great for when I need to see the IRS forms for proofing.

NOTES: I just found this feature now and it is a feature I use on other programs. I like having a place to take notes on the fly.

The Letter Templates & Documents areas are one of the main reasons I like IRS Solutions because the time wasted on correspondents adds up quickly.

Keep it simple because tax is already complicated enough.

It would be nice if under "Other alerts" that it would be possible to click on that alert to take me to the forms uploaded or details of the IRS alert. It would be nice if clients recieve an IRS alert that there could be a Notice preview for that specific client notice. I see the example notices provided but it would be awesome to see what the IRS sees for when I need to call into the IRS abyss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
