## About Invoisin
Invoisin is invoicing and time-tracking software for service businesses that bill clients for their time — agencies, consultancies, freelancers, and professional firms such as accounting, audit, and legal practices. Track billable hours by project and task with live timers or manual entry, set hourly rates, and mark time as billable or internal. In one click, Invoisin converts unbilled hours into draft invoices — grouping entries by client and creating clear line items for each project and task. Drafts stay fully editable, then generate as branded PDF invoices with your logo, bank details, and tax information, ready to email to clients. A no-login client portal lets your customers view and download their invoices from a shareable link. Invoisin also supports multi-currency billing, VAT/GST calculations, credit notes, reusable invoice templates, and reporting with CSV export. Team collaboration is built in with user roles and permissions, and there are no limits on the number of invoices or clients — a simple, affordable alternative to heavier billing and time-tracking tools.

**What do you like best about Invoisin?**

We are a medium-sized Audit and Tax Advisory firm based in Cyprus, and we moved to Invoisin from another established invoicing and time-tracking platform that we had used for years. My main concern was preserving the history of invoices, clients, and time records that our accountant and our auditors need to be able to trace from prior years.

That turned out to be the part that impressed me most. The import brought across our clients, projects, time entries, invoices, payments, and even the original invoice PDFs, and it showed me exactly what it was going to create or change before anything was written. I could review it, run it again, and clearly see what had been updated. Nothing had to be re-entered.

Day to day, the things that matter to us are unglamorous, but they work: VAT is handled properly, invoices can be issued in more than one currency, we can generate statements of account to send to a client without editing them by hand, and exports to Excel and PDF are accepted by our accountant without questions. Our invoice numbering continued exactly as our books already ran, which sounds like a small thing until you are the one who has to explain a gap in a sequence.

Invoisin is even better because, in case of a cancellation of services, it creates a credit note as well. The previous program didn’t have that feature. It also creates a formal Statement of Account document that shows all payments and outstanding invoices at any time, and it can automatically email the client both the Statement of Account and a payment receipt.

**What do you dislike about Invoisin?**

It is a new product, and you might feel that in the edges rather than the core. There are fewer third-party integrations than the larger platforms offer, so if your practice depends on a long chain of connected apps you should check that your particular ones are covered before you commit.

We have also hit small things along the way — some invoices displaying a status that did not match what had actually been paid, and numbering that needs more work to handle books organized by year. Both were dealt with quickly once raised, but I would rather be honest that we have been an early customer and it has occasionally shown. So far everything we asked for is quickly developed by the creators.
If you want a large vendor with a support desk and a decade of documentation, this is not that yet. If you are willing to talk to the people building it, you get a lot of influence over where it goes.

**What problems is Invoisin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two problems, really.
The first was cost and predictability. Our previous platform's pricing kept moving, and the extras were difficult to forecast. Invoisin is a straightforward per-seat price with our invoices and clients included, so I know what the year costs.
The second, and the more important one, was keeping our records intact through the change. We bill clients across several currencies with VAT, we track time against engagements, and everything has to reconcile at year end. Moving between systems is normally where that breaks. Here the history came with us, the amounts still tie out, and reporting on what has been billed, what has been paid and what is still outstanding takes minutes instead of an afternoon of spreadsheets.
For a practice our size, that is the difference between billing being a task and billing being a project.
