"Organized Email Outreach and Automation, but Reporting and List Filtering Need Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

as a sales assistant , instantly has helped me to manage outbound email activities in a much more organized way, it makes it easy to create email campaign, schedule follow ups and monitor responses without spending hours sending emails, manually the platform has helped our team stay consistent with proper communication and improve daily productivity. the feature i appreciate most is the automated follow up sequences, once a campaign is set up, instantly sends follow ups emails based on customer activity which saves a lot of manual work, the campaign dashboard is also easy to understand and provides useful insights into open , replies and engagement, i regularly use instantly for email outreach campaign, prospect list management, automated follow ups , tracking email engagement campaign performance monitoring supporting lead generation organizing sales outreach. the interface is clean, simple and easy to navigate , creating campaign , importing contact and checking campaign result can all be done without a steep learning curve. instantly integrates well with Google workspace , agentforce sales, CRM plartform spreadsheets tools. "All-in-One Outreach: Easy Campaign Setup, Multi-Account Sending, and ChatGPT API Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

I like how easy and fast it is to setup a campaign... I can add a list, write the sequence, set the timing and warm up my emails too...I also like being able to manage multiple sending accounts and integrate CRM with it. When you're doing a decent amount of outreach, having everything in one place makes things much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

nothing really just the dashboard feels a little crowded and slow once you have lots of campaigns running together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good deliverability, but confusing UX, weak onboarding, and frustrating lead search"
2/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

They warm up our emails... so better deliverability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

There's a lot to dislike. Not very intuitive. Had to struggle to get the first campaign going. It's just not logical. Doesn't behave the way you'd expect it to work. Seems simple, but it's only when you start, that's when you start scratching your head. The emails they provide are completely off the mark. Why would anyone want to use random email? Beats me. Onboarding to the tool is non-existent. It takes a while to understand their pricing. The subscription covers only some credits. You can send hundreds of thousands of email, but you only have limited email addresses that you can procure. Their filters are very basic. Many don't make sense. Once you select a filter, there's no way to undo it. You'll never get back to the number of results that you get prior to applying a specific filter. You have to cancel everything and do it all over again to get it right. Super search to actually adding leads is a black box. There's no indication of what's happening on the screen, when is it complete, why didn't it add, nothing. Terrible design. Frustrating experience. I had to write to one of their founders even to get a demo. And results are very disappointing. To say the least. Just a waste of money. Go with Ad words. Better outcomes than cold email. "The "done-for-you" domains are not yours. Read this before you pay for them."
0/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

The setup is fast: domains, inboxes and warm-up in one place, and the interface is clean. Deliverability during the warm-up period was fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

The "done-for-you" domains are not yours. I paid $15 per domain and, when I stopped the outreach plan, support confirmed in writing that the domains are registered to Instantly, cannot be unlocked or transferred, and that keeping the mailboxes I paid for requires another paid plan. Two months of warm-up and every reply thread stay in their account. Nothing at checkout says this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Instantly showed me that cold email is not just about writing better emails"
5/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

Cold email campaigns can fail before anyone even reads the first message. Sometimes the issue isn’t the copy, the offer, or the subject line; it’s poorly prepared domains, messy lead lists, missing data, or automations that aren’t connected to the rest of the workflow. That’s where Instantly has been useful for me. It doesn’t treat cold email as a separate task. Instead, it pulls sending accounts, warmup, leads, campaigns, replies, CRM activity, and automations into a single flow that’s much easier to manage. Having multiple accounts, warmup, and inbox rotation also helps a lot when you want to scale without putting all the pressure on one inbox. From a developer’s perspective, that matters because we often end up supporting domains, DNS, tracking, integrations, and the events marketing needs so the campaign isn’t just about sending more emails and hoping for the best. Instantly makes that whole operation clearer and more visible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

I wouldn’t say I’ve had a bad experience with Instantly, but it’s definitely the kind of platform where a poor setup becomes obvious quickly. If your domains aren’t ready, your leads aren’t clean, or your team doesn’t fully understand how campaigns, accounts, and replies connect, it’s easy to blame the tool when the real issue is the process behind it. "Automates Client Outreach with Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

I really like Instantly's campaign automation, which lets me create different sequences based on the type of client I'm targeting and schedule follow-ups automatically. This is especially helpful since manually remembering follow-ups can be challenging when juggling multiple tasks daily. I'm also a fan of their AI reply agent, which helps manage a high volume of responses by categorizing replies, understanding the conversation context, and preparing responses based on my instructions. The basics of setting up an account and creating a campaign were quite easy for me. I appreciate how Instantly provides a repeatable system for getting clients consistently, which is crucial for freelancers and virtual assistants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

I feel like there could be more organizational features for managing outreach for multiple clients. As a virtual assistant working with completely different businesses, it would be really helpful to separate and visualize each client's workflow more clearly. Also, creating multiple workspaces for different clients without incurring additional charges would be a great improvement. Right now, they charge extra for different workspaces, which I think could be better handled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dreadful AI Setup: Daily Fixes, Missed Sends, and Wrong Recipients"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

Can't say I experienced anything good in the 2 week trial, the AI meant that every day was diagnosing and fixing another issue instead of running the app as it was meant to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

The AI is dreadful, you set it up and every day you wait for your specified sending time to see if it sends, when it doesn't, the AI works to diagnose the issue and tell you how to put it right, then you wait again, rinse and repeat. By the time it started sending, it was the last half a day of my trial and it sent it to 3 American contacts on my UK&I outreach! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect Balance: Easy Beginner-Friendly Setup, and Warmup That Allows Campaigns To Go Live Fast"
5/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

It’s easy to set up, straightforward to learn, and lets me get campaigns live quickly even as a complete beginner. Compared with other tools like smartlead.ai, which feels a bit more complex and seems to have a longer learning curve, or gmass, which is very easy but misses key components like spintax, advanced options, and built-in email warmup, this strikes as a perfect balance for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

Their warmup pool is split into different categories, and access to the most premium pool requires a $500 subscription. Also, their AI chat tool (Instantly Copilot) sometimes provides answers that conflict with what live chat support recommends, which can be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Email Campaign Management with Powerful Automation"
4/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

I really like Instantly's simple interface and powerful automation features. It's easy to manage cold email campaigns, handle multiple email accounts, automate follow-ups, and track campaign performance all in one place. The simple interface helps me set up and manage campaigns quickly without a steep learning curve. The automation features handle follow-up tasks and other repetitive tasks automatically, which saves time and makes it easier to manage campaigns consistently. Setting everything up was a simple and quick process as the interface provides a lot of help with setting up email accounts and launching the first campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

One area I think needs improvement is the pricing, which can be considered somewhat of a burden to smaller users or beginners. Moreover, some of the features might have a bit of a learning curve, and having more customization and easy-to-read reports could improve the platform even more. Another possible improvement would be the availability of more flexible customization options and clearer instructions for beginners. It can take a while to configure complicated campaigns or learn about various features of the program. Clearly designed tutorials and simpler options for advanced features would make the experience much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unresponsive Support and Email Warm-Up That Hurt Deliverability"
0/5
What do you like best about Instantly?

Nothing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instantly?

Instantly made more problems for me terrible service. I tried to contact support for two weeks without a reply, but got an immediate reply from the sales team. Funny how when it comes to taking your money they will reply but any support ZEROOOOOO response. The email warm-up has done more harm than good, and my emails got blacklisted when I started campaigns. I ended up using it to send thousands of emails and when I just tried manually sending from the same mailbox guess what, my domain got blacklisted! Surprise surprise. They need to get better customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
