The main drawback of this software is that it can be a bit complex and expensive for beginners and also setup and configuration is not easy to understand for beginners & initially take time to implementation also.

"Secure and Scalable CIAM with Flexible Authentication"
What do you like best about IBM Verify CIAM?

I like how secure and reliable IBM Verify CIAM is while still being easy to manage. The authentication flow is very flexible, allowing us to customize the login and authentication based on user requirements without complex workarounds. The MFA process is also very smooth, making it easy for users and reducing login-related issues. We have integrated it with our existing applications, and it works well alongside our security and monitoring tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

The initial phase of setup and configuration is a bit complex and has a learning curve. Some advanced customization needs deeper technical knowledge, which can slow things down initially. Better documentation and a step-by-step guide for advanced use cases would really help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Secure, and Flexible CIAM Solution with Outstanding Authentication Features"
What do you like best about IBM Verify CIAM?

IBM Verify CIAM offers a modern interface that greatly simplifies identity management once you become accustomed to the platform. Its security features are outstanding, particularly the multi-factor authentication, adaptive authentication, and risk-based scoring, which allow us to maintain strong security measures without creating unnecessary obstacles for end users. The authentication flows are very flexible, and the policy-based system provides us with detailed control over user verification processes. I also value the developer-friendly APIs and the clear documentation, as they make it much easier to integrate the platform with various applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

The biggest challenge is the initial setup. For first-time users, the configuration process can feel complex and requires some technical understanding. Policy creation, although powerful, comes with a noticeable learning curve. Additionally, the pricing is on the higher side compared to some newer CIAM providers, so it may not be ideal for small teams with limited budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Client Verification, Needs UI Enhancements"
What do you like best about IBM Verify CIAM?

I find the streamlined process with IBM Verify CIAM incredibly useful for my workflow and my role, as well as for the company. The tool helps make things faster, especially the verification process, which is really efficient. It allows every employee on the sales front to store information in the same place, and makes post-analysis easy if you want to use data for analytics. The connector information feature is also really helpful and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

I think the user interface should be improved, even though I know the feedback is being taken for UX design. There's also the aspect of pricing, and I feel more features should be prominent for different use cases. Right now, it covers about 90% of what users need, but there are niche use cases where it could be improved in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Identity Management with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about IBM Verify CIAM?

I like IBM Verify CIAM for its centralized application management and the ability to scale reliably. It does enhance the customer experience and provides better security. It's also beneficial because during high traffic events, the login or user experience doesn't slow down. I also find that separate identity logic for each application reduces admin efforts significantly. The setup process, including the creation of users, groups, and policies, as well as MFA setup and configuring simple applications with standard settings, was quite smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

I find it challenging that IBM Verify CIAM has limited low-code or no-code options, which means it heavily depends on technical knowledge. The application integration is complex, and the UI feels outdated. I wish there were features for rapid application onboarding like drag and drop flow builders, and one-click connectors for platforms like SAP, AD, AWS, and Azure. Understanding the architecture and debugging failures was also challenging during the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

Sometimes the initial setup and configuration can feel a bit complex, especially if you're new to IBM’s ecosystem. "Modernizes Legacy Systems with Robust Security"
What do you like best about IBM Verify CIAM?

I like the IBM Verify CIAM's Application Gateway because it makes it easy to connect older on-premise applications with modern cloud apps without having to rewrite the code. It handles modern logins like SSO and provides banking-grade security for older apps. Once it verifies the user, it seamlessly passes the user’s identity to the older app using simple HTTP headers. This feature is particularly helpful as it allows me to secure old apps without writing a single line of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Verify CIAM?

Configuring the Application Gateway requires a strong background in network architecture. Setup is not easy. The issue is that I cannot just click a button to protect legacy apps; it requires deep configuration of headers and network rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
