I think HubSpot Data Hub could improve by allowing more custom calculations in the datasets and report builder. Right now, there are limits, like only being able to use 25 custom columns in datasets and just five custom fields in the report builder. Having an unlimited or higher number of custom calculations would be a big plus. Also, adding more functions for better calculations would really help enhance the data hub experience. I like the weekly alerts to my Slack, which send any changes for property issues or duplicates. These alerts tell me if there's been an increase, decrease, or no change, and they keep me updated on what's happening with some of the duplicates. This feature has been very helpful. I also appreciate the property insights and duplicate management, as they are really nice to have since they speed up the time frame and give me a target list practically every week. It's also great being able to set up custom rules for checking duplicates, and the ability to integrate with external tools and trigger workflows from webhooks with APIs is really useful. The custom account properties are still not well defined and sometimes end up pulling data from the default properties. For example, I use the "Marketing qualified date" property to define my MQLs, but HubSpot always resorts to the "lifecycle stage" even if it doesn't have the "MQL" state in my account. My company has customers with tricky emails. It is ship companies and then the emails are sometimes "email@shipname.company.com" and ops hub does not differentiate between the ship names. Also many of the contacts are group email boxes, so something like Chief Engineer for Company. We have no name but there are many Chief Engineers and other types so the Ops Hub wants to clean up ALLLLL of the Chief Engineers to merge to one contact rather than identify the different vessle names within the company domain.
