# Which admissions and enrollment management systems are most trusted by education IT directors based on user reviews?

Hi G2 users, a question for the IT side of the education audience specifically. The admissions and enrollment management category has a wide range of review scores but comparing numbers without the role context behind them gives a misleading picture of where trust actually sits for IT directors who own the platform decision rather than just use it.

Wisenet (4.2 stars, 407 reviews): The category's highest review volume with the majority from administrators in education management and higher education. IT-side reviewers specifically describe the integration capabilities, new technology adoption, and full compatibility with existing systems as the features that make professional implementation fast and secure.

Finalsite Enrollment (4.7 stars, 98 reviews): Administrator-heavy reviews describing paperless admissions, online committee review, integrated contracts, and automatic tuition management data flow as the features that replaced multi-system workflows without requiring manual data transfer between platforms.

Blackbaud Enrollment Management System (4.2 stars, 57 reviews): Digital admissions records in one place with drag-and-drop form building and QR-code-accessible inquiry forms; reviewers describe replacing paper-based and multi-tool processes with one organized system.

Slate by Technolutions (4.4 stars, 74 reviews): Higher education CRM with third-party ETL integration support for connecting to existing institutional systems; used for providing a seamless way for both applicants and staff to work through the admission funnel.

TUIO (4.9 stars, 52 reviews): High satisfaction on a meaningful review base; covers tuition and enrollment management with payment processing integration used by schools managing the financial side of enrollment alongside admissions.

Another trust test for IT is data ownership when something fails. If an applicant record differs between the admissions platform and SIS, can the team quickly see which system is authoritative, when the last sync ran, and why the record failed? That operational visibility matters as much as having the connector in the first place.

### Comment 2

Integration would be the deciding factor for me, especially around SIS data sync and avoiding duplicate records. The real test is whether the API and connectors stay reliable after go-live, not just whether the initial implementation works.

### Comment 3

On whether the connector held up, the specific thing worth asking references is what happens when the SIS gets its annual update. Integrations that work at go-live and break at the next version upgrade are the pattern that erodes trust, and that's a question about the vendor's release testing rather than the connector itself. Worth asking who owns fixing it when that happens.

### Comment 4

I concur that the right to score without a role context misleads, since the IT director who owns the decision weighs very different things than the daily user. At least, this is what I have found in my analysis. For that persona, integration with the existing student information system and whether the API or connector support holds up as promised usually matters more than the front-end experience. The gap between "has an integration" and "the integration survived go-live" is where trust is actually won or lost.
