The prime feature is that it is free and you can create your work without paying a penny for it. The learning curve is not steep and the application is user friendly. It has a beautiful interface . Sample designs are also available that give you inspiration to create something of your own. It is available as both web version and desktop version. It is not very advanced but is incredible for businesses that are just starting out. Some useful features include shapes, illustrations, icons, emojis, stickers, frames etc which spice up the design. The color tools are incredible. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** Gravit is a free software but unfortunately free things have some limitations. You cannot transport files to other platforms while using it. Free version doesn't contain all the tools and the paid tools are very expensive. It can be slow at times when working on a bulky project. It is easy to use without even learning and you can customize graphics which helps your creativity to flow. The color tools are incredible and the UI is nice and modern. Gravit is a great tool for creating flyers and mini posters. The site gives you a set of templates or you can choose to customize and make your own. It spans a wide range of platforms, from posters to physical flyers to social media. It can also be used for personal reasons. Most importantly, Gravit is very easy to learn. It is quite intuitive. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** If you are used to using "high-end" products for design such as Illustrator, then Gravit might be a step down for you. For the price of simplicity, you do lose some functionality. This program started as a web-based application and has now migrated to a desktop application, which gives it even more advantages than it already had. Personally, it has covered my basic needs for creating icons and other vector elements for web use. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** It does not have support for a graphics tablet, a feature that was used quite a bit in other programs, to achieve line quality in outlines, and that would be very useful in this program. **Recommendations to others considering Gravit:** It is a very useful and free tool, an excellent option for graphic designers accustomed to using Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, or CorelDraw. **What problems is Gravit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Graphic design, creation and editing of vector graphics. ### 10. It is not as robust as its competitors (yet?), but the functionality is VERY impressive for a tool that is available online. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** A lot of the keyboard shortcuts are either different than its competitors, or is not supported, making the learning curve a little steep when trying to gain efficiency. Also the lack of plugin support currently makes it less powerful than I would like. **Recommendations to others considering Gravit:** Try it out. It is a really fun tool to play with, and has a ton of usefulness. **What problems is Gravit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to pick up a design from any computer connected to the internet, no software install needed, is a huge benefit when making sure I can stay efficient. ### 11. I can do pretty much anything I'd like with it. I haven't had a need for the themed templates, but I've looked through them and they're pretty nice. The blank templates are awesome -- there's one for every type of social media post that I use (facebook/twitter/etc post/banner/ad/etc). It makes designing social media content much easier. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** It's a little glitchy and it can use a lot of RAM (though, I've noticed this is mostly when I'm browsing the fonts). But it's not glitchy enough that to bother me -- the quality of the features is much better than any other free app I've used -- and there are no in-app purchases. **Recommendations to others considering Gravit:** Try it! If you do try it (and what have you got to lose, really?) I suggest saving your work frequently, to get around the one down side that I mentioned -- which is that it can be a little glitchy and suddenly freeze on you. I've never lost a whole project, though. Even so. **What problems is Gravit solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it for both paper and online marketing. I can make professional looking media very quickly without paying anything (except printing fees, if/when applicable.) ### 12. I was able to get into the program and intuitively find nearly everything I wanted within the first hour of use. The rest were relatively simple to find. If you need a program for interface design that is geared more toward "get in and work" instead of "hold on, let's learn," this is the right program. **What do you dislike about Gravit?** There isn't much to dislike, actually. This isn't Illustrator. It isn't even Affinity. This is a very simple vector graphics program. I suppose you might miss some of the extras in a better (more expensive) program, but if all you need is something for interface design or sketching out UI, this is perfect. **Recommendations to others considering Gravit:** Gravit is a 90/10 product. It's going to handle a strong 90% of the work you want to throw at it. Don't' get too upset with it for not being what you want it to be if what you really want is Adobe Illustrator. **What problems is Gravit solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm using Gravit in conjunction with InVision to prototype a web-based program.
