The metric I’d want alongside ease-of-use scores is how often employees still contact HR after rollout. A clean interface matters, but true self-service means someone can handle the less-routine cases too: checking an unusual leave balance, understanding eligibility, correcting a request, or finding the right benefit without asking where it lives. Has anyone measured whether HR questions actually declined after implementing one of these, and which employee requests still tended to break the self-service experience?
