What do you like best about GibbsCAM?

What do you dislike about GibbsCAM?

The scope of simulation is somewhat limited like we cannot simulate the process of laser cutting, automated welding, and others. It's very suitable for processing operations like roughing, pocketing, drilling, and related features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GibbsCAM solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Intuitive, Fast, & Very User Friendly"

What do you like best about GibbsCAM?

Easy to learn, User Interface is intuitve, cogent,Gibbscam system flows nicely from design creation to code. Gibbscam has a system which is very user friendly to learn, and has features such as process storage which greatly reduces time invested to create machine code. It doesn't cost an enourmous amount to train someone to use their system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GibbsCAM?

All systems have bugs which are annoying but, I cannot think of any off hand. Most of the bugs I incurred with Gibbscam can be attributed to learning curve, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GibbsCAM:

I understand that everyone has bias towards what they use so, I am not goona bag on any other system, I am also not saying that Gibbscam is the only solution that will fit your needs however, I am saying that Gibbscam is a very powerful & user friendly CAD/CAM system which is fully capable of delivering everything you need from creation to code. I do not work in a producion shop, most of my work is R & D, tooling, & one offs, and Gibbscam makes my job far easier, if I were running production Gibbscam would certainly be my choice. I could say more but, why? If you are looking at a CAD/CAM syetem that is easy to learn, and will save you time & money over the long haul Gibbscam will fit the bill. Problems? Machining is all about problem solving. Gibbscam is a tool like any other, and as a tool Gibbscam helps me realize the answers to problems I face whether it be tooling or a part Gibbscam is a helpful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like because I can build solid myself easily. No other programs needed and drawing is easy for me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One program for everything! Nice and easy to draw and make solids for ready piece and workpiece/blank piece. And using correct workpiece at simulation is really easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use it often also taking IGES-drawing for wire edm, really easy to continue working after millingmachine with that and also come back to millingmachine after wirecut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
