Using Aleph has allowed us to save a lot of time with respect to manual data pulls and quick analyses as it integrates well with most of our existing systems. I'm very happy with the overall performance and how easy it is to learn the product with all articles in the knowledge base as well as the AI agent function which has helped me troubleshoot any problems. I like having a clear, centralized view of our financial data. In my FP&A work, Aleph helps me review cash flow and financial performance, answer questions more quickly, and make reporting easier to follow. Aleph’s custom dashboards and flexible reporting make it easy for me to monitor P&L, cash flow, sales pacing, and SKU-level performance in one place. The integrations with QuickBooks and Shopify cut down on manual data handling, and the SQL transformations let me dig deeper when I need more detailed analysis. Building SKU-level reports, allocating bundle revenue, and reconciling financial figures often require complex SQL along with a lot of manual validation. Data-mapping inconsistencies, as well as differences between Excel exports and Aleph results, add extra troubleshooting time and can delay report finalisation. Aleph has made our finance processes much more efficient. Reports that used to be slow to build and that required numerous NetSuite exports are now quick to set up, and when our needs change, they’re easy to update without rebuilding from scratch. The time saved has been great and much appreciated each month during our close cycle and financial reporting process. There was a slight learning curve at the start, as with any new platform. That said, our CSM and the Aleph team have been very supportive and provided trainings that helped us get up to speed quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Admittedly, it took me quite a bit of time to get comfortable with the platform, but I really appreciated the team’s weekly support calls. More recently, we gained access to their AI agent, which has unlocked a ton of value for us. What used to take me 1–2 full days to prepare for budgeting season now takes about an hour and a half. Since then, we’ve also made a few additional improvements that should continue to reduce the time spent.

The biggest win for me personally is being able to tackle our budgets and get valuable monthly insights through BvA reporting. If you had asked me six months ago whether I saw a future with the tool, I probably would have said you could pass. As of today, I don’t see us operating without Aleph. Before the AI agent, I had a hard time getting comfortable with the platform. I’d have our weekly check-in call with our CSM and feel fairly confident using the tool during the call and for an hour or so afterward, but then that confidence would fade and I’d struggle again. It felt like I could never get to 100% comfortability. I often didn’t know which fields to select to pull reports in the format I wanted, and I also had trouble understanding mappings and tables.

I can say that this issue has been resolved now with the AI agent. I can talk to the agent in normal language, explain exactly what I need, and it gets me exactly what I’m looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AI compatibility is a must these days, and Aleph is helping us get there. The platform does have a learning curve, but I’m grateful for the MCP they built, which made the implementation process more self-serve. And when that doesn’t work, my CSMs (Henry & Nick) are extremely responsive and helpful.

When we were searching for an EPM tool, a Google Sheet connector was mandatory. Aleph’s connector works well, and their data connect fits into all of our existing reporting and forecast files that live in spreadsheets. This meant that I could put Aleph to work on day one rather than having to overhaul my existing processes.

You can bring in an endless amount of data effortlessly. So far, we’ve integrated Rippling, NetSuite, and Sales KPIs (by way of scheduled CSV reports), and I expect to build this out further over time. Managing all of this data would have been impossible without their MCP. [Full disclosure, I’m not trained as a systems person. I’m just doing this implementation on the side and am about two months in.]

Aleph has a learning curve. More data means more to manage. And depending on your technical background and experience with data architecture, this is probably more or less easy. For example, I’ve inadvertently deleted data more times than I’d like to admit. Thank God for version history. Right now I’m the only team member using Aleph, so I’m still learning the ins and outs, but I do worry about the challenge of training new teammates on the system.

tip: Link your shared dimensions immediately; otherwise you might get punished for publishing to “PLAN” rather than “Plan”.

On the flip side, when I run into this kind of issue, I usually just ask Claude what I messed up and have the AI help fix my mistake. I’m not a novice to EPM systems, but my goodness, I feel like an idiot sometimes trying to push and pull data from Aleph. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time required to go live is impressively quick, with zero need for systems integrators or other third parties - great ongoing support from Aleph directly. The platform is flexible, allowing you to customize it with simple prompts or utilize its out-of-the-box functionality for various ERP, HRIS, and other systems. It's designed to work in the environment finance is comfortable in, i.e., Excel and Sheets. Simple and clean UI. Fast and reliable backend that handles large data with ease. The finance team needs to have a solid plan for what they want if they are not using an out-of-the-box ERP since the Aleph model is not a one size fits all cookie cutter platform where you have to conform to the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Aleph is the ability to connect different data sources, bring everything together in one place, and have a single source of truth. A couple of Aleph functions—like CONNECT—are available through Agentic AI for Google Sheets but aren’t available in Excel yet. I’d really like to see those same integrations added to Excel as well, and it sounds like they’re already working on bringing them over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Aleph is simple to use, yet still very flexible because it uses SQL code. It lets you manipulate financial reporting to our exact liking. I also love their AI agent, which helps me analyse financial data at month-end. I also love the support we receive at Aleph, it has by far the best customer support across our finance stack.
