## Aleph Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent platform with huge potential and top-notch customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnnie W. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

- offers an immediate efficiency benefit to existing workflows, adding integrations is quick and easy
- centralizes data easily from a wide variety of sources, into a common data environment that is intuitive and optimized for time-based data analytics
- immediacy of access to platform, you can be up and running in just 10 minutes

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

- the platform is very powerful and a number of ways exist to perform the same task, it's really helpful to have best practice guidance from Aleph's team and embed that knowledge internal to your company. Over time there should be additional user forums or online help to provide that guidance too.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves for inefficient data access from multiple data sources, makes recurring tasks much quicker. Also enables rapid data access to other non-GL platforms, which streamlines tasks that would otherwise require internal engineering or R&D effort to create and maintain reports--all that can be handled from within finance now.

  ### 2. Aleph has automated the manual parts of my job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph organizes, structures, and helps us visualize our data in ways that we couldn't do manually.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Aleph can be glitchy some times (ie., some times you have to log out and then log back in for it to work) but makes sense as the product is still evolving

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is taking the manual parts out of my job so that instead of just reporting on financials and hunting down data, I can trust I have the right data and can spend my time on higher level / strategic initiatives

  ### 3. User-Friendly Interface and Excellent Customer Service

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I enjoy the easy to use interface and great customer service!

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Google sheets integration can be a bit slower than the excel integration

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph stores out data and forecasts as well as makes it easy to see data in the general ledger!

  ### 4. Aleph pulls disparate data to keep us up-to-date!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

  ### 5. Aleph has saved us plenty of time and headaches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxwell A. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Firstly, the Aleph team has been incredible and made it a very smooth and painless implementation. We were able to roll out Aleph for the first time this month as I prepared our monthly reporting, and everyone was blown away by just how easy this has become. Henry has been awesome, and I look forward to the continued partnership to see how we can continue to automate many of our processes with Aleph.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Thus far I have not found a single thing that I dislike.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is helping us to consolidate financial from our 5 seperate entities. Previously, monthly reporting was time consuming and error-prone, but now everything is updated by the push of a button.

  ### 6. Pivotal Tool for Powering Our Financial Forecasting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has made it extremely easy to connect our different data sets in a way that enables us to create clean and actionable analyses. The ability to seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources and analyze it in Excel or Google Sheets has greatly enhanced our financial modeling. The tool was easy to implement and provides real-time access to data for various use cases, including forecasting, BvAs, and budgeting. Aleph is used almost every day in our role. We're also impressed with the constant upgrades the team releases and the powerful drill-down functionality. The entire team is ready to support whenever any question comes up.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Not necessarily a dislike, but it would be helpful to have a more extensive library with support videos on the other functionalities that Aleph can offer. That said, the team is constantly reaching out and providing us with updates on new offerings so this has not been an issue!

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph creates a tool that allows us to access data from multiple different sources in one consolidated platform. This assures all of our data and forecasting is consistent in every file and analysis we build.

  ### 7. Plug & Play

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cat C. | Senior Director, Head of Strategic Finance and Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

For a lean team that move fast, it is not disruptive to the way we operate our analysis and insights. We cannot afford to be bogged down by implementation and specialized training necessary to use some of the planning software out there. It solves exactly the pain points we have and scales with the new ones we come across.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Standardized frameworks are not built into the system, so if you don't know what you need to build or how to build it, you may struggle to use the software.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to tap into our unbundled data across Netsuite and Databricks, with little to no friction and zero consultant fees.

  ### 8. Strongly Recommend Aleph

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan J. | Senior Director, Financial Analytics & Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I have worked with Aleph for two years. When selecting a financial reporting platform for a tech-focused healthcare organization, my team was considering traditional solutions like Hyperion and Anaplan. I have had zero regrets in selecting Aleph.

The Aleph product is nimble, insightful, easy to use & administer, and has minimal barriers to implement. Within two weeks of implementing the tool, we had already achieved net positive ROI through automating a series of time-consuming reporting using their straightforward Excel plug-in. Since then, we have continued to integrate the tool into many additional workflows and integrating other source platforms. Additionally, the Aleph team is knowledgeable, solutions-oriented, and is able to resolve any roadbumps that occur quickly and in a customer-focused manner.

I would highly recommend Aleph as a tool for streamlining financial reporting and platforms.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No dislikes lorem ipsum

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining / automating complex Excel models
Acting as a data warehouse, integrating multiple source systems
Provides a reliable source of truth for financial and human capital data

  ### 9. Alelph unlocks finance and accounting teams from data gathering to improved analytics and insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve N. | Fractional CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

- Customizable reporting including excel, google sheets and web-based dashboards - ability to create customized mapping for improved visibility and key metrics
- Large volume of integrations with accounting/erp, HR systems, CRMs and billing platforms
- Enables strategic finance to use excel and google sheets for financial modeling while providing disciplined data platform to enhance scenario planning, management team collaboration and improved performance management
- Self serve implementation leads to quick insights in less than a week
- Great customer support team

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

- There are some differences in the experience in using Aleph with Excel versus Google Sheet

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph integrates with our clients accounting system, mostly QBO. It automates the financial reporting which saves client team time in generating financials statements. It also provides additional insights to our clients around department reporting, detail vendor analysis and new, customizable dashboards that enhance the clients. All this leads to providing more data driven insights to Attivo's high growth clients.

  ### 10. The finance tool that you ACTUALLY want to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Strategic Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The tldr is that this tool creates so much productivity gains that it will genuinely change the hiring needs of your Finance team. It's an insanely ROI-positive investment that will be the first purchase I make for my team at any company I work at.
- Implementation (if you can even call it that) is exceptionally fast and simple. A 30 min with your system admin and they'll have just about any data source you want hooked up
- Integrates with a crazy number of different sources of data. Allows you to tie financial and operational data together all through one singular tool with a common interface
- Dead simple to use. The learning curve is minimal and it takes almost no training to start getting huge value out of it.
- Extremely powerful for a wide range of tasks. Can serve as the foundational dataset for a model in a way that allows for near instant updating / roll forward of actuals and ensures data accuracy. Super fast and efficient for ad hoc data digs, allowing you to narrow down data sets easily and quickly drill deeper if needed.
- Exceptional support by the team. Extremely responsive and fast to resolve any issues / make backend tweaks for your
- Genuinely care about what their customers want and take that input to define their roadmap. I've had feature requests turned into immediate eng sprints on their end and seen my ask in production within a matter of days

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I have to explain to colleagues that Aleph being a Series A company doesn't mean it isn't a million miles better than the big names they've heard of

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aleph for just about everything.
- It lets me easily track our financials throughout the close process and provide feedback to my Accounting partners so we can get accurate financials without slowing down our close calendar at all
- It is the primary data source for all of my financial models. I can easily source data in whatever structure I need and update the underlying numbers at will. My models are all lighterweight because I can push a ton of the mapping logic into Aleph and then extract aggregated data based on those - way fewer sumifs and vlookups.
- Nearly every ad hoc analysis begins with an Aleph data pull. I can easily narrow it down to just the data set I want and get the numbers at whatever level of granularity suites my need - be it line item aggregates or individual transaction level

  ### 11. Aleph is an extremely capable reporting tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

My favorite part of the Aleph experience is how the platform brings users closer to their data. I feel more strongly connected with my finance stack and data with how quickly I can pull reports, operate directly in my spreadsheets, and save queries to pull repeat reports periodically. The team is also extremely responsive and is always ready to answer any specific questions.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

N/A- I have had a very positive experience with the platform

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time - saved reports allow me to pull data with 1 click rather than exporting unformatted data from the ERP
Report accuracy - some expenses get compiled into a single journal entry from the ERP; Aleph is able to properly slice through the journals to categorize expenses by underlying vendor within an overall larger report, which our ERP does not handle well.

  ### 12. Quick and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I've enjoyed how Aleph has been able to make our data more ingestible and consolidated.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I've disliked the long refresh times we used to have with Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph has helped our team close on time and in a more accurate manner.

  ### 13. Aleph has been a game changer for our FP&A team by streamlining so many processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron H. | Senior Finance Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Implementation was a breeze - super fast and intuitive. The Aleph team were always on hand to assist with getting integrations set up. Our FP&A and Accounting teams use Aleph daily, and the feedback has always been super positive. Absolutely loving the integration to our data warehouse. Really impressed with the speed of product & feature delivery.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Very little - perhaps the Google Sheet plugin performance isn't as fast as Excel, but otherwise still an excellent feature.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph creates one source of truth for all financial data, which aligns all reporting across divisions within Finance. With our team heavily utilising Excel, we wanted a reporting tool that integrated directly into our existing financial models, and Aleph catered for that perfectly with very little time to implement.

  ### 14. Gamechanging tool for making our data work for us, the way we want it to

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Strategic Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has made it super easy to access data from various sources and use them in our models and analysis. We're able to connect all parts of our tech stack together, and have sped up our cadenced reporting and planning significantly. Implementation was very easy, and integrating Aleph into our existing models was a breeze. We use it daily.

I love that they are shipping new features and have wonderful, knowledgable support.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No real downsides here, it does exactly what we need it to do. Would love to eventually be able to build models in the web app, but for now we've happy to stay in Excel and Google Sheets with the included plugins.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph speeds up all our FP&A processes, and solves the need to download a bunch of csvs and paste them into Excel.

  ### 15. Aleph made our FP&A team more effective and saves us a lot of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Addison A. | Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

To me this most helpful aspect of Aleph is that I am empowered to build and utilize data sets without any engineering background. The platform makes it easy for me to curate reports that would otherwise take many hours of manual work. It's saving me a ton of time, and making me more effective. The customer support aspect is incredibly useful, and always quick to help.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I am hoping that some of the offered integrations to have some kinks worked out, but overall I am very happy.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our startup does not have the data & analytics support that most companies have, so Aleph gives us to power to own our data and reporting process from end to end, and allows for customization that doesn't require a coding or engineering background.

  ### 16. World's leading automation platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro Isian D. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Ease of use, implementation and integration. Strengthening its core and generating new features that simplify automation processes. New AI features are at their peak.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

........................................

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph provides us with solutions to automate our financial processes.

  ### 17. Great tool! Intuitive, fersatile and amazing support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catalina C. | Head of Strategy & Ops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Our use Aleph almost everyday, mainly to check on financial data and calculate/review key metrics to operate our business. It serves as our source of truth that consolidates not only multiples sources but also from different entities in a way that makes it easy to then analyze and digest. We have recently started using the scenario analysis feature, which has proven to be super useful to analyze, compare and communicate different scenarios and easily update assumptions. Aleph´s team is always willing to help and act as a strategic partner collaborating in projects.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The only issues we've had is when sharing Aleph spreadsheets with non-Aleph users; this has been greatly improven recently though

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating info from different entities and sources and help us create the single source of truth for our financial data

  ### 18. Easiest software implementation of my career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reid G. | VP Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

They were the only vendor that offered us a trial with our real data before we signed up. This made the decision way less risky, and then when we signed up, the implementation was already pretty much done. We were able to run our first month close using Aleph within a week of signing up. The product is saving us 20+ hours per week doing exports and manual work.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I've seen some mock-ups from their AI roadmap, and would really like to see that hit the product. I think that will take the product to the next level.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Completely removes the manual element of pulling data and drilling down into data sources for all FP&A tasks. It also helps us create visuals with their dashboards using the same pivot table interface that doesn't have any learning curve.

  ### 19. My experience with Aleph and working with Henry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad S. | Accounting Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

It saves us time each month when creating reports

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

It is not always clear on how to use the product

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is saving us time in pulling data from NetSuite

  ### 20. Using Aleph to Power our Entire Strategic Finance Infrastructure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant D. | Manager, Strategic Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is lightweight and intuitive to implement. It gives our team the right mix of power and rigidity, while allowing us the flexibility of building out a wide array of analyses and interfaces according to our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Aleph's platform is still subject to a lot of bugs. Customer Support and Engineering are very quick to rectify problems we run into, but we do require more support from their team relative to other more mature solutions in the same space.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph acts as the engine that allows us to combine analysis directly written into our data warehouse with the flexibility to add additional modeling complexity in spreadsheets. We use it for all of our core models, as well as most of the ad hoc analyses we produce.

  ### 21. Fast and Flexible XLS Support, But Lacks Enterprise Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

- xls native, flexible and relatively quick/fast

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

- Enterprise grade features
- browser based features could be improved

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- solving predictability and budget governance

  ### 22. Aleph is the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariana E. | Director of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

It is extremely easy to use - from quick implementation, fast refreshes of acutals data, and easy conversion of reporting into Aleph for up-to-date actuals vs. forecast reporting. Also the team is extremely responsive should any questions or issues arise and is constantly adding helpful new featurs.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Honestly nothing! We've converted all of our reporting, models, and forecast to use Aleph so if there's ever an outage our we'd be out of luck but we've never experienced any major issues with Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph made it so we no longer have to do a long, manual process to refresh our models with the latest forecasts and actuals. We are able to more quickly get a read on the month's performance and share with stakeholders.

  ### 23. Incredibly powerful tool for all Strategic Finance functions!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is a swiss army knife for our strategic finance team! Using Aleph has meant that we never have to sacrifice the functionality of excel, which has been a huge barrier with other platforms. The tool is relatively easy to get up-to-speed on and makes it such that we can focus on our actual analyses vs. having to work through various mechanics of the tool itself. We also love that Aleph has add-ins on both excel and gsheet so we aren't limited as we use the former heavily to collaborate across the business.

Last but surely not least, Aleph's support is truly best-in-class. Any time that we have a question, whether it's troubleshooting or just how to best use various Aleph features, the team is incredibly quick to respond and action. They're constantly keeping us in the loop as they're building out new functionalities and ensuring that we're leveraging Aleph in all of the ways possible. I'd also add that the quarterly business reviews are incredibly informative - I walk away from each one learning about a new feature that we can actually leverage (vs. a feature that is relevant for only some use cases) and it always ends up being a good use of our team's time to attend!

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No downsides! Truly would recommend Aleph to anyone in the market for a strong, versatile FP&A tool - bonus points for getting to work with an extra sharp, responsive and all around great team!

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest issues with most of the out-of-the-box FP&A tools is that they are generally too restrictive and make it hard to tailor various analyses/metrics to what our business needs. Using Aleph has allowed us to maintain that freedom while ensuring we're able to collaborate easily and pulling accurate data directly from raw sources. We're also able to customize data formats in any structure that we'd like, integrate with any underlying system and even create customized dashboards to share across the business. Lastly, we leverage Aleph to cater to various department budget owners - each one has a different preference on level of detail and using Aleph has made it easy for us to keep the info uniform while also providing varying levels of detail across the business. Aleph is truly a best-in-class FP&A tool that every ex-banker has dreamed of!

  ### 24. Best FP&A product to that I reviewed in the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph allows an FP&A person like myself to easily connect different data sources (e.g., quickbooks) as opposed to copying / pasting. It allows creating several dimensions. Once the data is loaded, it makes it very easy to dive deep and summarize at different levels of granularity and the best part is that it works with both google sheets and excel. Very helpful customer success team.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I don't dislike anything. They are still in the process of building out some helpful features that are in the making, e.g., diving deep into the cashflow transactions. There may be some minor improvements needed in their UI but overall the product works very well for my needs.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Aleph, I had no way of connecting quickbooks to google sheets or excel in a way which would provide me the various levels of granularity that I was seeking. There are other software out there but they may be restricted in the number of dimensions or

  ### 25. The FP&A tool that I always dreamed should exist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph runs as a native Excel plug-in, allowing FP&A folks who have grown up with Excel to work where they're most comfortable. With Aleph aggregating all data into underlying tables via near-instant system integrations and overnight refreshes, users can pull and refresh data directly into Excel via formulas and drill down on results without ever leaving the spreadsheet. The ability to pull multiple sources (Finance, Sales, HR systems) into one spreadsheet greatly reduces time to build and refresh analyses, rather than manual disparate data pulls.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Flexibility is a double edge sword. Less structure means that results/reports could be off if new dimensions (accounts, departments, etc...) are added to the source data and there aren't checks & balances in place to ensure they're captured.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating repeatable and reliable metrics, dashboards, and reports that are quickly refreshed and able to be distributed to stakeholders, with the flexibility to adjust as quickly as altering Excel formulas.

  ### 26. Incredible product for strategic finance teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The beauty of Aleph is it provides the operational efficiency of real time data integrations between all the sources of truth that strategic finance teams need to juggle for financial planning and analysis (i.e., HRIS, CRM, Accounting, etc.) in the software that these teams master best (gsheet/excel). You don't need to have your team learn how to model in a new system, and you don't have to trade analysis flexibility/speed (which is the reality of choosing other FP&A tools out there)

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Just like all software that involves data flows/integrations, you will encounter the occasional data bug, but the Aleph team has been incredibly responsive and quick to remediate any such occurences.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps improve speed and accuracy. The team is spending less time on updating models for new data every month, and can focus on more important strategic analysis. It also helps reduce manual errors that come from monthly model updates. This is without compromising our ability to model the way we are used to and want to

  ### 27. FP&A software that does everything

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Best thing about Aleph is that it is able to leverage Excel as well as web based tools to fit a variety of use cases depending on the situation. For a company like ours, Excel still remains too valuable to ignore like some other vendors do when selling their software and Aleph makes it easy to pull large data sets into it.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Still a young company that is evolving and there will be some growing pains that come with that. None of these are any reason to not try them out as we don't have issues that affect our monthly close / planning process.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph helps us update our large datasets of monthly KPIs from our data warehouse. This monthly task previously took about 4-5 hours before, but now takes less than 30 minutes after we were able to set up everything.

  ### 28. Happy Aleph user since Aug 2023!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane V. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

We use Aleph every month to run detailed vendor level expense reporting out of Netsuite as well as assitance with our month close process which has reduced our month close process down to 5 days! Implementation was extremely quick thanks to the white glove customer service we receive from the team with a dedicated Slack channel for all our troubleshooting needs.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I cannot think of anything that we dislike about Aleph. It has become an integral part of our month close process.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Financial close process and vendor level expense reporting

  ### 29. Great software, simple to learn and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I like how easy it is to learn and use the system. Being able to use my own excel models for budgeting and forecasting make it so easy when we have to change things. I also like how easy it was to integrate to our accounting system. Aleph even built custom integration since we were a first customer with out accounting sosftware. That was for the demo, too! they fully implemented the system FOR A DEMO so it made it great to try the system out with our own data. We use Aleph everyday for analysis and reporting.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Since Aleph is still youngish, many features are still being developed and not yet ready. But the customer support is great and can do many custom things if needed.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

consolidated all finacial models and ability to compare scenarios

  ### 30. Next Gen FP&A Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | Fractional CFO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The best part of Aleph is its ability to pull data together from the technology infrastructure with little implementation effort.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Having increased flexability brings with challenges around controls.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brought together our actuals and forecasts and ability for version control on our forecasts.

- Excel add-in for fast FP&S analysis across multiple instances of Xero accounting.

- Great customer support, robust online training resources.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

- I have not come across area of weakness worth reporting.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounting consolidation of multiple entities, FP&A analysis

  ### 33. One stop shop for all things FP&A

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The user support, ease of integration, and flexibility to have any kind of upload format with the connect function are some of my top of mind favorite things about using Aleph.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Except some minor refresh issues, Aleph is a great tool for most of our FP&A needs.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us automate a lot of our reporting and budgeting sub-processes.

  ### 34. Great tool and incredible strategic support from Aleph´s team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sol B. | Strategy & Ops Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

We started using Aleph this year as a source of truth for our financial data that comes from different sources. This has helped us to automatize metrics calculation and P&L breakdown. We have worked closely with Agustin and Sebastian, and we’re currently expanding Aleph’s usage, designing an automated process to measure our contribution margin on a quarterly basis. Aleph’s team is consistently supportive, acting as a strategic partner in our projects.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

There´s still oportunity to match the Google Sheets exprience to the Excel one

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Source of truth for our financial data that comes from different sources
- Automatize metrics calculation and P&L breakdown
- Automatize contribution margin calculation

  ### 35. Great team and great at connecting systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate J. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I no longer have to run a query or QB report to get data into Excel/Google Sheets. Much faster and cleaner.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

It's a newer tool so a few things are easier done on the back end, but a very responsive team makes this not a big deal.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to pull QB reports or run Queries every time I want data.

  ### 36. Amazing FP&A and Data Integration Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has significantly boosted our FP&A team's productivity by automating several manual tasks, such as pulling data from our accounting systems, data warehouse, and other key sources. This automation has streamlined our month-end close, enhanced the speed and accuracy of flash reports and other weekly/monthly reporting, and allowed us to seamlessly track key metrics through its dashboard. By setting up automated data pulls on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, we've saved hours every month, freeing up our team to focus on more strategic, high-value responsibilities.

The ease of implementation and Aleph's plug-and-play nature have also been standout features, making it simple for new employees to extract value from the platform in their first week on the job. We've successfully onboarded cross-functional partners as well, enabling seamless collaboration on various finance-led projects across departments. Additionally, the support team has been outstanding, hosting weekly office hours since training, and the tool integrates effortlessly with nearly all of our existing tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Nothing jumps out immediately as a drawback. There still needs to some level of SQL proficiency if you want to make the most out of your data from your datawarehouse. I know the team has been working on adding drag-and-drop capabilities so we can work with data tables more seamlessly, so that may not be a problem for us for too long. I know there have been a ton of new features introduced such as dashboards, so there's still a lot of features for us yet to try.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph has resolved several key challenges for our FP&A team. Previously, consolidating data from multiple sources such as accounting systems and data warehouses was a manual and time-consuming task. Aleph automates this process, providing a unified view of our financial data. It has also significantly improved the efficiency of our reporting by automating monthly bookings, flash reports, and other financial statements, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness. It's been very easy to add the extension for Aleph on Excel and Google sheets, so I'd say it's intuitive, spreadsheet-first approach has been easy for both new hires and cross-functional partners to adopt, promoting smoother collaboration across the org. By solving these problems, Aleph has streamlined our financial processes, improved data accuracy, and enabled our team to focus on more strategic initiatives.

  ### 37. Intuitive, easy FP&A tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph was incredibly easy to implement. It took less than an hour, vs another solution we tried (and failed) to implement that took 6 months. Not only was implementation fast, but so was the progress we made with learning how the platform works. After a couple hours with the team introducing us to the tool, we were up and running and able to realize immediate value. The platform is similar to other platforms I've used, but much more intuitive and simple. Everything just seems to work, and when, on the very rare occasion it doesn't, the team is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I have very little constructive feedback on Aleph, especially in comparision to the other alternatives we considered and tried. It's a bit less feature-rich than the alternatives, but (1) the team has a robust roadmap (informed by direct feedback from its customers), (2) the team is very quick to implement that roadmap and (3) it still does everything we can ask of it. As mentioned, there are a few, rare occasions where something can break, but the team is super responsive and begins looking into solutions within minutes, as opposed to days like other tools.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is helping us with faster managerial reporting, faster ad hoc reporting, more auditable actuals / forecasts, and scenario modeling. All of this increases the amount of time we have to work on other value-add jobs across the org.

  ### 38. Endlessly Customizable and Perfect for our Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

There is so much to like about Aleph. Overall, I'd say its flexibility and ability to customize features makes it such a great product. It doesn't force your business to adapt to an out of the box FP&A solution, rather you can build off your existing current practices that work best, and optimize/make more efficient with the support of Aleph. Beyond that, the customer support is second to none!

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No downsides to report on Aleph at this time. Looking forward to the future upgraded features to take advantage of!

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is helping us have one quick to pull, reliable source of truth for all financials. By being flexible to connect to multiple data sources, we're not limited to the data that we can feed it, and the customizable reporting makes everything much more streamlined. This makes our analysis much more efficient, and helps drive quicker decision making/allows more time discussing stragic initiatives based off of our business performance.

  ### 39. Complete game-changer for our FP&A

This means no more juggling multiple data sources or dealing with outdated information.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Nothing that I can think of! We've had an amazing experience across the board.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**
