"Replaced Colossal Excel Files and Pivot Tables with Easy-to-Use Templates"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Before Aleph, I had to prepare our management reports using several colossal Excel files, troubleshoot errors caused by external links, and hunt down tips and tricks to make my pivot tables display data at the most difficult intersections of our reporting dimensions. With Aleph, I can replace all of that with a few reporting templates in manageable file sizes, and I can delegate the work to colleagues with intermediate Excel skills. Aleph is THAT easy to use. What do you dislike about Aleph?

I have been using Aleph for over a year, and I have not come across anything about Aleph that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless & Quick Data Automation"
What do you like best about Aleph?

I love how Aleph makes it easy to pull and explore data from various sources, like internal databases, NetSuite, and Excel models, and how easily it automates these data pulls. It saves time when updating and analyzing data and ensures accuracy. I like that Aleph integrates with both Google Sheets and Excel, allowing data automation setup to be extremely quick. I also appreciate that it helps me pull data without needing to manually copy and paste. As a user, it's super quick and easy to get started with Aleph. Additionally, the customer support is fantastic - our Customer Experience Manager Michael is extremely responsive and helpful to our numerous platform questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

The add-in can be a little slow to load, and the interface to set up a new data table is not the most intuitive / requires a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great FP&A platform"
What do you like best about Aleph?

What I like best about Aleph is how it streamlines FP&A processes by connecting directly with our ERP/accounting systems and centralizing data in one place. Instead of manually exporting data into spreadsheets each month, we’re able to automate reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis, which saves significant time and reduces the risk of formula or version-control errors. The Excel integration has been especially valuable because it allows our team to continue working in a familiar environment while benefiting from live, connected data. From a workflow perspective, Aleph has helped shorten our monthly reporting cycle and made forecasting more efficient. What used to require multiple offline files and manual consolidations can now be updated in a more controlled and collaborative process. Another benefit has been ease of use—the interface is intuitive enough for finance users who are not highly technical, which helped with adoption across the team. Overall, it has improved accuracy, speed, and visibility, making the FP&A function more strategic and less manual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

I’d also like to see continued expansion of planning and workflow features, such as deeper scenario modeling, approval workflows, and more customization within dashboards. That said, the team has been responsive to feedback and continues to improve the product regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aleph Streamlined Our Month-End Close with Powerful, Easy-to-Use Finance Tools"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph has been a game-changer for our finance team. The platform strikes a great balance between ease of use and powerful functionality, making it accessible without sacrificing depth. Its versatility allows us to handle everything from detailed analysis and reporting to budgeting and forecasting in one place. We’ve also significantly streamlined our month-end close process through automation, saving time and reducing manual errors. Overall, Aleph is a highly reliable and robust tool that has improved both the efficiency and quality of our financial operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

While the AI insights feature has potential, its usefulness depends heavily on having clean, well-structured data. In practice, that means you need to invest time in data preparation before the insights become truly meaningful. This isn’t entirely unexpected, but it does limit the out-of-the-box value of the feature if your underlying data isn’t already in good shape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Fast Planning with Seamless Data Sync and Responsive Support"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Flexible, but with a lot more control than your usual spreadsheets. Data pulls automatically from tools like NetSuite, HiBob, and Salesforce, so you’re not wasting time on manual updates. Planning and reforecasts are quicker since everyone’s working off the same version—no more file chaos. Refreshes are fast, and the web version is really easy to use. Support (especially from Henry) is super responsive and easy to reach. The AI-driven commentary is genuinely helpful for analysis, and overall, the pricing feels fair for the value you get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Advanced modelling / scalability can get tricky as things get more complex (large multi-dimensional models, very detailed driver trees, etc.)

AI commentary is helpful but not always perfect—you’ll still need to sense-check insights rather than fully rely on it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aleph Streamlines Budget and Reporting Efforts"
What do you like best about Aleph?

I think the Excel add-in is very powerful, especially the Connect and Explore functions. The Explore function allows me to pull data from Netsuite directly into Excel without having to wait a long time with each download because Aleph refreshes its Netsuite pulls overnight. I like being able to cut data from Aleph in different ways with different filters, and I believe the AI chatbot would be very useful for companies with clean data. It can help speed up P&L commentary when data is clean. Aleph has centralized expense data and budget data, making it faster for us to update reporting and budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Can sometimes be slow when updating large datasets / multiple large pulls, or when manually refreshing Netsuite data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplest connector to you GL and your internal data"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Fantastic ability to connect multiple tools, such as Databricks, NetSuite, Sheets, and Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

It takes time to learn the system and get all the data integrated, especially if the full team isn’t behind the concept. That said, the support staff is very helpful and does a great job guiding you or setting you up through the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Aleph Ties Our Finance Stack Together"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph has become a central part of how our finance team operates, and the integrations are a big reason why. Connecting it to NetSuite, HiBob, and Ashby means our financial data, headcount, and hiring pipeline all flow into one place automatically — no more chasing down numbers from three different systems or manually reconciling spreadsheets. Actuals from NetSuite sync in real time, people costs and headcount data from HiBob feed directly into our models, and Ashby keeps our hiring plan and future payroll projections grounded in live recruitment data. The UI is refreshingly easy to use — the spreadsheet-native experience means the team adopted it quickly without any real learning curve, and navigating the platform day-to-day just feels intuitive. On the support side, our CSM Michael has been brilliant — always responsive, genuinely proactive, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure we're getting the most out of the platform. It's the kind of partnership that makes a real difference, especially during onboarding. We're also just starting to explore Aleph's AI features and are excited to see how they can further streamline our variance analysis and reporting workflows. For any finance team running a similar stack, Aleph ties it all together in a way that's fast to set up and genuinely changes how you work day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

The only downside I have with Aleph is it can be a touch slow with Google sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Financial Processes, Needs Better AI"
What do you like best about Aleph?

I use Aleph for forecasting, budgeting, and BvA analysis. I appreciate that it automatically pulls all actuals from our ERP Sage Intacct, which saves me time from manually doing pulls and comparing to our budget. It combines our budget with actuals easily, making forecasting quick and easy to update. I really like having a dedicated account manager (Michael Kang- the best!) available via Teams for all my questions and helping us set up our reports. The initial setup of Aleph was very fast and simple, which made it easy for us to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

AI is a bit behind times, and it is somewhat complicated to learn the software. I wish there was more formal online training to walk through. AI analysis needs to be more in depth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smarty Tool - Quick to use"
What do you like best about Aleph?

Easy to handle and use, and it takes very little time. Anyone can learn it within a day and start using it right away. It’s a great fit for startups and scaling companies that want a smaller, intelligent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Maybe I would still say, we are yet to explore all the best of it. It would be the loading and locking a data for retrievals (multiple/large databases might be a challenge for now) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
